Pandemoniun (Pt. 1)

"thanks...What is it you needed?" "Umm... What would be a good name for me?"

"I can't really stay for long; there's only so much magic I can use outside of the Void. So, basically, I'm here to help." Autumn didn't actually leave; he was eavedropping on them and so far, the information was very interesting.

The mage looked at Legion, who just answered with a shrug.

"I know. But how can you really help. We can't change the past so I can find the kitsunes you wanted me to find. " "Hmm.. how about..uh..." Wendigo was thinking"

"But maybe I can help you reconnect, rebuild."

The mage waited patiently.

""that would certainly help. " "How about Una?"

"Feels so weird to be back here; must have been centuries at least," Lee said. "But I'd give anything just to feel the sun again."

The mage nodded. "Very nice. Very nice, indeed."

Legion was less enthusiastic about her name, but didn't say anything.

"well now you can. " Wendigo looked at legion and then at the mage. "Actually...I'll make it Viola ......Viola Guinevere. "

Autumn walks out of the bushes, having had heard the entire thing, makeshift daggers drawn. "I think I've heard enough," he starts, eyeing Lee with a frown. "I will see to it that you're banished from this place, demon!"

Now this was a name Legion liked. "That's... that's really, really nice." 

The mage agreed with a nod and erased Wendigo's previous name from the form with a little magic.

"hey there no need to get on the offensive. She's trying to help! Does it really matter if she's a demon or not? Are you really going to be this close minded?" Willow said getting Infront of Lee.

Wendigo then wrote down that name with an even more fancy cursive. "There"

"I saw what that... thing is capable of! You expect me to just let it run around?"

"I'm not staying for long," Lee mutters. "I'm just here because of Willow." Autumn was not content it leaving either. It did something and it better fix it before leaving.

The mage filled out the rest of the form. "Alright, that should be all; you'll know within a week if you're accepted into the school or not."

"so you want to get rid of the person who could help all of us because they are powerful? Are you even listening to yourself right now? I'm sure if the other kitsunes were here they would let Lee stay."

"Thank you for your time. " Wendigo said.

"The others are not here; we have to make the decisions," he says. "And I have no proof that thing isn't dangerous."

"Through the runes Willow drew on the ground, I could have fully entered this realm and annihilated everything within, yet I chose to instead channel my power into the forest," Lee explained calmly. "I believe no one should suffer."

"I suppose that's all," the mage says. "Unless you wish to sign up for some private classes."

"what she says is all true. She really doenst want to hurt you guys" "private classes?"

"Fine, but it's on you," Autumn says, sheating his weapons. "I'm keeping an eye on you."

This was vey dishearting and exactly what she was afraid. She always wanted to settle down, spend some time in the mortal world as one of them again, but all this just kept reminding her that dream was way too farfetched.

"Some students are better than others," the mage explains. "And those that are not often turn to their teachers for help. In private classes, I can explain in more detail."

Willow got close to Lee. "I know what you're thinking but don't. They just need some time to see how you act" "you think I would need private classes?"

"I hope you're right..."

The mage scratched his head. "Not neccessarily. I just wanted to inform you that there is an option in case you hit a roadblock in your studies."

"I know in right. I've seen it before. Weaker things tend to fear powerful things until they know the powerful thing means no harm. " "Oh? Well thanks for telling me. If I do manage to get in and get confused I'll be sure to ask"

"Do you still want to look for the trapped kitsune? The forest should be much safer now."

"Trapped kitsune?" Autumn repeated her words. "What do you mean trapped?"

The mage smiled. "Thank you for your visit and your time. I wish you the best of luck."

"yeah. There has been several" "okay bye!"

"c-can you lead me to them, please?"

The two of them leave the mage's house. "I think that went well."

"sure i guess"
"Yeah i have good feelings"

She finds some of the containers near one of ruined houses and uses some magic on them. "They're intact ans I can restore their bodies, but their minds... The isolation and despair has driven them mad."

"I guess that from now on, I'm calling you Viola."

Willow looked down. "Just bring them back. I don't want them to be suffering anymore. " "Sure if you want. "

Lee reluctantly nodded and the containers floated in the air above her. Her paws sparked with a violet, almost-blinding lightning and the gems evaporated.

Three kitsunes appeared on the ground. Dirty, twitching and mumbling incomprehensibly, they were very much alive.

Autumn just looked in awe.

"So, where do you want to go next?"

Willow went close to them. "Hello there..." "Is there anywhere fun here?"
