"Isn't there like a...info book? There's a book for everything so what about a book about this game." "Well better know now then later."

"A manual? Yeah well... I threw it away. Back when I was younger, I though people that relied on them were dumb."

"Now that we're both demons, what do you plan to do?"

"Well look who is the dumb one now" Wendigo stared at legion. " I don't know. I thought you'd know."

Each of his eyes had a different colour. "Me. I'm the dumbo now."

"Apart from me, you said you're doing this to have more time for your studies. What if you let your studies be and focus solely on-" She pointed at herself.

Wendigo laughed. "Well guess I'll just have to find the other bad guys in the game." "Oh...i suppose...yeah I could stop for you." Recin smiled. "Just not too long"

"Good luck, I guess. The guy didn't attack you; just a little bit longer and you'll be at the port."

She crossed her arms. "Not too long? You must really prefer sleeping alone."

"walk I will do now." "No I just mean if I stop studying for so long I'll forget the countless hours I spent learning. I can divide my time between you and the books. I mean if you'd like..."

"After some more walking, you find the port and guards waiting at the gate; they're not very happy to see you or the Wendigo."

"Then I guess I'll have to drag you away from your books, kicking and screaming."

"Don't tell me they aren't going to let me through? " "Oh really? I'd like to see you try.."

"With your reputation and a Wendigo by your side? Unlikely. However, you could intimidate them. Roll to see if that works."

With a flick of her wrist, she's just in lingerie. "Never underestimate the power of a determined woman."

Wendigo sighed. "If this was real life I would of eat them or something..." Then she rolled. "What the?! How did you undress that fast?!?" Recin was blushing.

She rolled a three. "If you don't let me in, I'll kill you. Painfully."

The guards let out a chuckle. "Really? And do what, go against the entire city guard? Simply accept that you and your wretched little friend are not welcome here and get lost!"

Ris smiled and approached him. "Well, I have decades of experience; some prefer if its magic that does the undressing, others don't like when magic's involved at all," she said. "Oh and I'm totally gonna drag you away now. Even nigh-immortal life is too short to be spent buried in books."

"I'll find a way to the ferries." Recin backed up he was blushing more .

"You could always go around, swim to the port and steal a boat. I did it once; was pretty cool," Legion then noticed the lame pun. "Sorry, that joke was really bad."

"I also picked up dancing and singing over the years, if you're curious," she said and kept going closer until he hit a wall. "And not just the pole kind; actual dancing."

"What joke?" "Umm...we..we really doing this now?"

Legion was glad she didn't get it. It was pretty lame. "Nevermind. You wanna steal the boat?"

"Only if you want it."

"Yeah!!! That sounds so fun!!" "Uh..." Recon wasn't sure. He was too busy looking at her to focus.

The guards noticed Stanley and his friend go around, but after a while, they stop caring. Now he's at the other side of the docks. "Brisk swim through freezing water. Spend longer than you have to and you'll be a human-sized icicle."

She made him look into her eyes and smiled.

"Hmm...well I can take the cold but I don't k ow about Stanley. What do we do?" "Y-Yes..."

"Well, alternatively, you could ask the wendigo to go and steal the boat for you. It's small, can blend in good with the water and nigh immune to cold."

Instead of dragging him, she just took him by the hand and had one of the mirror images lead them to an empty room.

"Nothing better happen to that Wendigo!"

"Roll to see how succesful she is."

Wendigo rolled.

She rolled a four. The wendigo didn't get very far until it was found out and promptly surprised and tossed back in the cold water. It did, however, untie a boat with sailors sleeping on it.

Legion's ear perked up. "Something happened," he said. "I've lost contact with Cebron, the gatekeeper and the mirror images that were outside."
