"Okay, okay; I'll admit I did not expect that," after several seconds of touching, he found the part where her entire back plating could taken off.

Immediately, a cloud of burnt electronics hit him in the face, making him cough a little.

"I see the chipsets." Someone was even kind enough to put labels on each one.

Ren looked at the chipsets. "Alright. Kit can you shut down for a moment while we take out you chips. I honestly don't want to see a mental breakdown from you."

She would have shut down regardless.

Eyes went dark and Volt proceeded to carefully take out the chipset labeled 'Military'.

"So much trouble for something this small..." Volt said as he connected it to a microcomputer in his toolbox and unrolled the foldable keyboard. An alternative to a screen, the marvel of technology instead projected itself on the nearby wall.

"I didn't make this tech; it's just hard to find and expensive."

"Cuz I'm a lazy genius," Volt replied and started poking around in the code in the chipset. "Standard military stuff – following orders, destroying stuff, that sort of thing. Unfinished and deactivated.

And some thing called threat sensitivity. Cranked all the way to one hundred."

"Whoops. I may have accidentally did a thing that I can't turn off."

Volt went the extra step and burned off the microchip that had the message in it with a blowtorch, checked for damage and congratulated himself.

"I think I'm done now. Code changed without an issue. Let's put the cookie back in the oven and see how it likes it."

He put the chip back in and when it clicked in place, he put the plating in its too.

Kit's eyes lit up. "Thanks. Wait- Something's not right. How come I can speak?"

Volt turned to Ren. "By that, I meant that I'm a gentleman and that I help all women without discrimination. I also love hugs more than a simple 'thank you'."

Ren looked like he was about to punch Voltraire but then he turned to kit. "Since you and Liela did what exactly?! You seem to be keeping a big secret that happened between you two!!"
