Ayah actually stopped voicing her character to point out how little sense food gathering makes.

"How many times have you seen people eat in a game, not nibble at, not take a bit of, but actually eat? Not even previous DnG had this and that was aimed at hardcore players. We"re not collecting food, cuz that's boring."

"Definotely, but no game actually picks on that. Sometimes, just to play with you, it makes food restore health instead of hunger, but all your character can eat are moon chips and space milkshakes."

"Bottom line, we're upping our difficulty by not picking up any food, which means debuffs to health and no health regen. I call it 'The Warrior's Way'. Maybe there's an achievement for that."

"Come on, I know this game insane and out! There's nothing that can-" A big, angry thing appeared out of the ground. Its level was 100. Both characters in the game responded by screaming, as anyone would probably have.

"Nshulet, the Demon Taker? I've never seen this guy before, spawnrate is like, less than one thousandth of a percent! I wanna kill 'im."

"ok...this is still crazy!!" Ren took the controller and made his character start shooting at the monster.

His attack hit for 2 and set the monster on fire. The damage over time of the fire did no damage.

The monster whacked him, leaving him with one hitpoint and Ayah's character healed him to full.

"That's it! We just have to keep it up."

The technomancer kept shooting at the monster not giving up.

After what felt like an eternity of scratch damage, the monster finally died. All it dropped was a hat his character couldn't even wear.

No drops, no gold. He didn't even level up.

She had her character put the silly and completely pointless hat on.

Ayah laughed and then delivered. "This game sucks; I'm bored."

Ren blushed and looked at her. "N-no! It's..it's not that!! I'm sure I'll get Liela..or at least get her away from Voltraire. " He sighed and looked down to the floor. "I'm never going to get her am I? It's like Voltraire knows everything she wants and then some..."

"no....it's all just some plan for her to stay with him forever! He'll make her love him so much that when this truce is over he'll break her again and try a different way to be king! For all we know he may have some drink that'll make her do what he says! But I guess I can't stop that... Mabye she wasn't meant for me...but than who?" He pondered.

She hugged him from behind. "I know of someone that would go through that torture of having someone like you. She loves calling smart guys dorks, keeps fit by scaling buildings and gliding down. In addition, she's an animal in bed; all she ever wants is cuddling and food."
