"Age of criminal responsibility, ever heard of that?" Maggie scoffed her, she herself a victim of gross misjudgment. "By law, you literally can't kill people who aren't yet resposible for their own actions. Put them into an asylum with maximum security, yes, but not kill them."

Maggie then decided to introduce herself.

"Magdalene Noibert. Lamia – that is, snake from the waist down – and I'm unemployed; getting summoned is something of an insurance," she says. "Parents – a devil worshipper and a farmer – both dead. No siblings or distant family."

Liela just bumped into a magical, ball-shaped shield that extended over the entire house. It revealed itself for a few seconds after her contact with it and then became invisible again.

"I didn't kill the boy...I sent him away like I was supposed to. "Kia told Maggie. "What about you prima?" Ren said turning to her. "I don't have to say my origins. So I won't."

Liela looked surprised. "Ok...wasn't expecting a shield...umm could you lower that shield? I really need to find an item that will help me and my friends not be trapped her anymore."

"I.. I'm Ivona," Ivona started and then she froze, unable to say anything else.

No response. Door didn't move, shield stayed up. What if the reason no one collected the bounty was because Medusa refused to fight?

"That all? I know there's more to the story but oh well my turn!" Lillith said. "I'm Lillith...an ink demon. I'm a servant and I love dragons..." She looked at Voltraire's body. "Well most dragons..."

"Can I come in. Please? O won't leave until you do..."

Ivona actually wanted to say more, but didn't have the courage to tell Lillith.

Volt crossed his arms, offended.

Medusa responding by doing nothing. She was fooled by someone asking to enter, even kindly, before and wasn't taking the risk.

"oh what are you going to do? Puff some smoke? Ohh I'm Soo scared. Bet you don't Even know how to change into a dragon!" Lillith said sticking her tongue out. "He can what!?!" Ren said concerned.

Liela sighed. "Is there any way you'll let me in. I'll don't almost anything."

"You don't deserve the entertainment." Volt stated and did nothing.

"I'm I'm Ivona and I'm a... a student." Ivona stuttered.

Silence. Sound of movement that faded out and back in; she probably went to get something and came back. A thin scrap of paper was pushed out from beneath the miniscule gap underneath the door.

Facing her, it read 'Please, go away' and written in nice cursive, not beffiting a monster.

"Excuse me!?? I deserve to see you as a dragon!!! " "Wait you gave him a body that can change int-" "yes I did!! And I want to see it!!" Kia was the only one who payed attention to Ivona."What grade?"

Liela read the note. "Come on... I can't even talk to you? By the way you have beautiful handwriting."

But Volt refused. "Have someone else play out your freaky fantasies."

"L-last year of h-highschool," she said and looked Kia straight in the eyes. "But i'm on a break."

Silence, then came the sound of locks being opened. By how many clicks were heard, there were at least thirty of them.

"grr!!" Lillith went very close to Voltraire. "What can I do to make you change please!!" Kia raised one of her eyebrows. "Taking a break? Why?" Liela heard all the locks get unlocked one by one. "Wow, you really don't want people here"

Voltaire kissed her. Hopefully that would make her go away.

"I jumped off a bridge and drowned," Ivona explains. "Sometime later, I washed ashore and woke up to find an alien on the run from G.U.N had revived me."

Lillith almost slapped him. "What?!? I wanted you to turn into a dragon!!!!" "Hmmm...well I don't know this alien but I hope to one day give them a good thanks. It did a good thing to save you. "

"The alien is the only thing keeping me alive," Ivona continued. "I have to keep a steady supply of light from either the sun or something artificial or I'll die."

The doors finally opened, after what felt like an eternity. Medusa was not standing there to greet her.

Volt laid on the floor, closed his eyes and imagined himself to be in a happy place.

Medusa sheepily emerged from the hallway and kept considerable distance between berself and Liela, even though she was taller and probably even stronger.

Her skin was a very light green. The dead, headless snakes on her head were painted red and arranged to look like curly hair.

Liela looked at her. "Your snakes...they are dead.. what happened?!"

Lillith poked harder and started to make some very annoying noises. Liela steppes closer. Ren covered his ears. "Wow, how considering of you. You don't seem evil at all. " Liela said smile.
