The unknown magic lifted her off the group by a few feet and made distorted. With another motion of his hands, Azzar now had the effect of Magicide.

"Oh no," Voltraire said. "Complete immunity to magic and increased damage against magic users. T-that's something that's only used by extremely difficult bosses against mages and healers."

"I don't need magic to take you out!" Liela turned her gunblade so she was holding it like a knife. She ran to Azzar and tried to stab him. Lillith gave a weird look at Voltraire. "How could you possibly know that Voltraire?!"

Azzar allowed her to stab him. "Power word - Pain." The otherwordly pain that followed came from within, like something was trying to tear out her very soul.

"I killed your little shapeshifter friend," Volt proclaimed. "Should have seen him; the way he squirmed, how he kept going through every transformation, only to stop at you. Before he passed away, he was kind enough to share with me all he knew about this place."

Azzar loomed over. "The same thing I do with every heretic," What he said was threatening, but he still had that serene, calm tone to it.

Lillith gasped. "It stopped at me... Probably to protect master from you!!! What did you even do to her to make her do whatever you say Monster!!!" Liela was still on the floor in pain. "I obey Voltraire. I do n-not deserve this punishment for following my king!!!!" The pain was certainly increasing. "Oh it feels like my soul is... Being ripped out!!!"

"Power Word – Mind Blast," The moment he said that, Liela got the worst headache of her life. It felt like her brain was trying to claw its way out of her skull.

Voltraire did not like what was going on with Liela and the look of confidence was replaced by worry.

"What is this!? Voltraire worried about someone besides himself?! Not possible." Liela felt her mind breaking. The biggest headache she's ever had. She tried to say the safe words aloud but couldn't. She couldn't focus enough to say it.

"Power Word - Dea-" It was obvious what he was about to say, but Voltraire interrupted him.

"Stop!" he yelled. "For god's sake, stop! She's not possesed, not by me, not by anyone!" All the pain had then abruptly stopped. Azzar was confused.

"Finally the pains gone." Liela hit up and shot one beam at Azzar out of anger before walking next to Voltraire. "Oh my god Azzar!!! Wouldn't let me get a single hit on Lillith before you decided that this was intended for you!!!" Lillith looked confused. "It was just a prank to scare Lillith a little. But nope. You got to suddenly become the hero! Freaking you were going to kill me even though Lillith said not to!!!" Liela was very pissed.

"Of course pranks exempts you!!! He he... A twisted prank for a twisted prankster!!! I love it!" Lillith smiled while Liela sticked her tongue out at Azzar. "It was just payback for the whole making me think I'm a vampire thing. Almost made me kill someone." "Word of advice master, don't do any messed up pranks like this when Azzar is right next to me."

"Nope I think I'm done admiring the prank." Liela looked at Voltraire before turning to the others. "I actually have something to say but this is serious this time. It's about Aubrey... He's been acting a little weird. Mostly towards me."

"You should leave," the shapeshifter said. "I'm serious. Already, I was unable to stop him and you know why summonners shouldn't use themselves as champions? Because you become imprinted; use it for long enough and you end up just like him, a remnant of what you were, unable to leave. That's why and how he died, not some mysterious, incurable disease."

The book opened on one of the last pages and showed her that in previous incarnations of the book, it was possible to jump to other players' taverns without any consent and vice verse; that feature was taken out when they couldn't stop people from vandalism.

"I know how to take you to it, but there's a sizable grace period afterwards," the shapeshifter explained. "In short, you'll be on your for a while, as the spell needs recharging. Bad news is, I'll also have to stay here, so the only thing you can do is to signal me to get you out of there."
