The monster woke up, letting out a few pained growls, showing its sharp teeth. Ayah placed her elbow at the monster's temporal lobe. A good blow would knock it out again.

"Threaten them and I'll beat you, make a word without being spoken to and I'll beat you, try to stand up and I'll beat you," she said. "Are we clear?" Already, she was bullying it.

"ANSWER ME!!!" Lillith was about to hit the monster again but Liela stopped her. "Lillith calm down this isn't the way. " Liela turned to the monster. "Why did you make me see those things? Are you even able to talk?"

It only said the words 'prey' and 'food' in a deep, gutteral voice before trying to break free of its bonds.

It then said 'last' over and over again, followed by 'curse'.

It didn't answer and just roared like an animal, finally breaking from its chains, only to be quickly disabled by Ayah. "All yours, Lillith."

Lillith didnt hesitate to beat the living crap out of the monster. Clawing it away and tearing its flesh out. "DIE DIE DIE!!!" She said in her demonic voice. She looked like a complete savage. Liela was looking the other way. She didn't like seeing Lillith show her true demon ways.

The creature quickly succumbed and died. The words 'Bloodlust' flashed above Lillith.

Lillith turned to look at the others with her crazed look. The clothes and white gloves she had were completely soaked with blood.

The book flew infront of Liela and opened near the very end. 'Someone arrived at the tavern. He didn't stay for very long, but he left you a message.' It then showed a stereotypical icon of mail. with the words below it explaining 'touch to open.'

"I've got mail?" Liela touched the icon.L Lillith creeped closer to Ivona. "H-hey Ivona... How red is yo-your blood?" Lillith gave her a very creepy face.

'Well, color me surprised,' the mail read. 'I thought I was the last one who had this book. Won't intrude, as you seem busy, but when you finish your campaign, I'll be waiting for you in the tavern.

Have a nice day,' There was no name attached to the mail, just the letter 'A', probably the inicial of the sender.

The schoolgirl took a few cautious steps. "W-with a hint of yellow," she said. "Why?"

"guess we aren't the only ones here anymore. When this is all done we have a visitor in the tavern." Lillith walked even closer to Ivona looking smilling and showing her teeth. "Wh-Why don't you show me? " Lillith forcefully grabbed Ivona.

Ivona's mind raced like a racer on a grand prix. She couldn't use her powers and Lillith was a lot stronger physically, so she couldn't just push her away and scream to Liela for help.

Desperate times called for desperate measures and Ivona was hoping what she was about to do would at least confuse her so that she could run away.

She leaned in and kissed Lillith. In that instant, the bloodlust was gone.

The schoolgirl hid behind Liela; she was glad the confusion had worked.

The hawk gave both of them an odd look. "Okay, that just happened. Why though?"

Liela finally looked away from the mail after she read for the fifth time noticed that Ivona had hid behind her."Huh?! Why are you hiding?!" Lillith was now in a corner.

"N-no particular reason." That was, of course a lie. She may or may have no disturbed Lillith.

Ayah approached her and placed her hands on her shoulder. "Hey, everything alright?"

"Ivona is lying master! She kissed me!!! I already have a best friend! But Ivona want to be one too!!! Are we allowed to have more than one best friend?!" Lillith was confused.

"S-she wanted to pounce me, okay?" Ivona defended herself. "I had to do something for her to leave me be."

"Why would you even limit yourself to just one?" the hawk asked. "I mean, if you trust all of them equally and they are loyal to you, then where's the bad?"

"Lillith scared me senseless." Ivona admitted. Not exactly true, but whatever.

"What's your definition of a best friend, may I ask?" Ayah asked her. Hopefully, it wasn't what she thought it was.
