Lillith looked sad. "Oh... I see. That must have been hard for you. To be the only one. Ever tried to get whoever did that thing back? Give them what they deserve?"

"Boss never made us run team missions ever again," she explained. "Had to spend a lot of time to convince me to stay."

[Dogy9978]

"The appropriate thing to do when things like that happen. I can only imagine how your boss felt about that."

[Crimson Skies]

"He doesn't let things get to him that much, in that accord, he's the same as me," she explained. "On the following day, we found him overdosed on anger management pills. Blamed himself for what had happened."

"He could of never foresaw the tragedy. He was not to blame. Shame how these things are fated happen."

[Crimson Skies]

"I should have expected such things to happen when I decided to become a vigilante," she said. "I guess neither that or being a criminal is safe in the long run."

"Nothing's safe in the long run. Even being a simple mailman has there own fatal flaws. After all, there is always a way for things go wrong. No mater how prepared or safe you think you are." Lillith looked down as if something had happened to her as well.

"You talk of her as your master," the hawk inquired. "Are you her servant, one that cleans the house, stokes the fires?"

[Dogy9978]

"Why I am her servant but I do more than that. I can will do anything for my master. Whether it be getting groceries or kill an entire village. My whole purpose of existing here is to serve. That is why my services are free to her. It will be like that for all eternity. " Lillith sighed.

[Crimson Skies]

"Entire eternity, huh?" the hawk muttered. "That sounds a bit dull."

[Dogy9978]

"What?...DULL?!? It's not like I'm going to be serving her for all of time. Just until she finds out whatever unfinished business she has for her to disappear or unless she doesn't want my to serve her anymore.She wasn't my first master. My first master was way cooler."

"I had a good friend that played electric guitar," the hawk reminisced. "Any time you'd walk into his room and he'd just be jammin'. You can't get much cooler than that."

"Ha! Maybe for mobians that would be cool but I'm no mobian. My first master was a dark magician that practiced all magic or atleast that was the trick. He didn't do any of those stupid card tricks mortals do. No he'd entertain the real wizards and creatures with his unique flair on the topic of magic. His illusions were spectacular and if he came across some things that could see through the illusions. Well he had his most beautiful tricks especially for them. Why I was his lovely assistant. Shame he refused to do his magic shows to mortals that have no powers. Bit for the most part, what he did was certainly cool."

"Do you miss him?" the hawk asked. "I know I miss my friend. I'd give anything just to see him again, even for a day." She kept using the word friend, but he was so much more. Pretending he was just another brick in the wall only made it worse. The thing about making someone your everything is that when they're gone, you're nothing but a shell.

Lillith went silent for a moment. "Missing him would be an understatement. But it's not like I can do anything to bring him back. Even if I did bring him back he'd die the same way. So I just pretend he's invisible and is secretly watching me. So that motivates me not to waste my time mourning and use the time to improve and do the best i can to make him proud. "

The hawk's voice became tearful. "I-I never told him. I never told how I felt about him. Already, I'm regretting not telling him those three words when he was still around."

Lillith put her hand on her shoulder. "Hey...don't get all that emotional. When your time comes you will be able to tell him these things. And I'm sure he will accept you. You're just going to have to wait a little. " Lillith gave a small smile to try and make the hawk feel better.

The hawk smiled faintly. "I'm sorry, I-I just keep all of this pent up inside and sometimes it just..." This wasn't even the worst outburst. Boss nearly had a run for his money when it came to anger when she exploded on a cashier, making the poor girl cry.

"It's ok. Sometimes you just have to let it out. Better now when's it possible then later."

[Crimson Skies]

"I, I want to apologise," the hawk started. "To you. To her."

[Dogy9978]

Lillith smiled even bigger this time. " Well I forgive you. Let's go back to Master's room and see if she does the same. You did offend her. Ignoring one's existence, especially a ghost, umm you know... " Lillith didn't finish the sentence.

[Crimson Skies]

"Just not a fan of anything supernatural's all," the hawk muttered. "Like, I get it, it's fine, just please don't force it on me."

"So than you are not a fan of me either? " Lillith said as she started to walk to Liela's room. " And here I thought we were going to be friends." She murmured.

[Crimson Skies]

"Just don't push your supernatural-ishness." Ayah followed her inside the room.

Liela was still in her ghostly form levitating around the room. She seemed to be next to her night table. She looked like she was haunting and making the lamp flicker."OoooOOooO" "So much for keeping supernaturalness at a minimum..."
