April Event Week 1

The echidna slowly came to a halt, inspecting the new spines that began to poke out from his skin. He stared at his new spines and shrugged it off as nothing too embarrassing or ludicrous. He was heavily slowed down due to his skin thickening and smoothing out into even ridges. It was hard to move now, but he wasn't freaked out, or really upset about it. He thought of his new form to be one flourishing in defensive possibilities from the spines to his tougher skin.  

"Hey... This actually... Isn't so bad. In fact, if I learn to control this, I can add it to my normal plant abilities. But there's just something missing, and I can't quite put my finger on it..."

Just on que, a large, red flower bloomed on top of Cruz's head. 

"Ah! There we go!"
