Path of Green (Event week 2+3)
Green was the parchment that held this clue. It's paper stained green from what was best presumed water damage or something else nature related. The ink smeared in some places making a few words at the edges of the paper hard to read it at least helped that the handwriting was crisp and clear.

A crowd of many, at a first glance all can appear just the same in this place. However if one is to give nature a second glance they might see that the twists and turns of the trunks and branches differ from one to one. Yet there are others that stand out by different ways. One specifically stands taller than all the rest. Towering over many with at it's crown a shimmer of orange as it guards what injured it in the past.

Re: Path of Green (Event week 2+3)
Lumin snatched up the green stained paper, looking at the others reading the other two clues on the other two papers. He read it over like he read over the first clue. Once, twice, three times. Nothing. Riddles just weren't his thing! But, he tried taking the clue one hint at a time. Nature, so, greenery then, some kind of plants. Twisting, turning, perhaps some kind of a jungle environment. That's what he got from that.
Perhaps... the orange mentioned... some sort of a structure? A building? Lumin thought real hard about the clue, seemingly really frustrated- it was written all over his face. He looked around. He would need help with this one again. Boy, he was a little too good at the heavy lifting but riddles? Nope, not at all, not good at solving riddles. He continued to stare at the paper, he may just have to figure it out himself but he secretly hoped someone would come along and figure it out for him.

Re: Path of Green (Event week 2+3)
Tyson had just finished one pace around the fountain, examining it as the commotion went on, when the stone piece ejected from his place, and he flinched from surprise, and from the water and ice that got launched to him. Good thing he knew to duck before he got his eyes poked out or something. He stood back up after he heard the wood splinter apart.
Echo and Zetski, meanwhile, listened to what Luka and Boubka had to say. Afterwards they listend to a few others. Echo then put in his advice. "Well, no one has taken the green parchment yet... even though I can see why." "Regardless it COULD lead us to a clue." And with that, Zetski pulled out a pair of plastic gloves, and walked towards the green parchment, and was about to pick it up when Lumin had already snatched it.
Reluctantly he backed away a foot or two to give him space, still listening. "Well..." Tyson said. "As far as I know, the riddle might point towards a forest of some kind... maybe a tall tree with orange leaves?"
"It's winter, Tyson. A significant percent of the trees are either void of leaves, or evergreens."
"Yeah yeah, I know that, but it's still possible, right?"

Boubka gave a mean look to Ernest "HEY! I SOLVED-" then Luka grabbed Boubka's sweater and pulled him with her. "If he doesn't want us, we should not bother him." Luka looked pissed too. How dares he? I'm 17 years old! And I have learned to be independent a long time ago! This wolf guy reacted even more childish than Boubka. 'Dragons are always awesome' Yeah right.
"Let's talk to that Echo guy-Oh wait! Somebody is looking through the green paper!" "Wait there were more parchments?" They walked to the white hedgehog. "Hello there! I'm Boubka and this is Luka. Maybe we can help you find one of the three pieces!" He sounded very excited.

Re: Path of Green (Event week 2+3)
It seemed that the majority was thinking in the right direction, one person even spot on with their idea on the overall location. For whatever was fact, it were trees that the riddle clearly talked about, no denying that anymore. Mostly with the closed forest being near enough to the park. Perhaps that was a wise idea to start their search?
A tall tree also was a good guess mostly considering the riddle quite literally told of one taller than all the rest. But if it was located in the middle? That was an entirely different question.

"Really??" Lumin looked up from the paper at the fox that approached him. After taking a glance around, he noticed that others gathered around him- probably to read the paper. "Oh, sorry." He held out the paper in his hand- whoever grabbed for it first would probably be the one that got to read it next.
"I, um, I'd appreciate the help though. If we're all interested in figuring this one out, maybe we could all go together?" He suggested. "We'd be one big search party- but where should we start?"
He looked at the others again, where ever they went he would follow close behind as soon as they set off.

Re: Path of Green (Event week 2+3)
As Tyson and Zetski held their discussion on Winter and leaves, Echo decided to actually pay attention to what really mattered; the clues. He simply turned to the others. "I do agree with the idea of this size of a search party. Everyone else chose their own path I guess, and searching in groups is a rather nice idea. May I see that parchment...?"
He politely takes it, and reads it, somewhat to himself. "Well, I can't really think of anything except to search in the forest." He hands it back to Lumin. "I'm Echo, by the way, and the other two are Zetski and Tyson." As soon as they heard their names being spoken, they stopped their discussion and waved. "So, what's the plan? Should we head to the closest forest?"

"Yeah! Cool! let's do that! Our own team!" "Well okay. Boubka. Read the paper." Boubka read it through. "Well I think this indeed is somewhere in the forest. But note that it is a 'Tall' tree with at it's crown a shimmer of orange." "We'll look for that. But let's just go to the forest. Maybe we can find it in one go." And so, Boubka and Luka wandered off. They did wait for the others to follow them to the forest.
Re: Path of Green (Event week 2+3)
f they were familiar enough with station Square then the closed forest would be an easy find. Not a long walk at all to it, but the one downside, this forest was not the smallest in on itself, separated into smaller areas where light did not shone through the branches at all.
If any, this groups thoughts were of the right thing, but they better get moving indeed as darker clouds seemed to loom at the horizon, bringing a promise of bad weather soon enough.

Lumin looked up at the darkening clouds, running ahead of the others and into the forest. He stopped and looked back at the others. "... This might be... bad." He commented, keeping his eyes locked on the sky. Then he looked forward towards the forest and thought for a second. "This place is real big though, maybe we should split up." He looked back at the others, awaiting a response, though he looked as if he was about to run off on his own any second now- perhaps from anticipation.

Re: Path of Green (Event week 2+3)
The trio ran between them, Zetski being ever so slightly ahead of them, when Echo skidded to a halt, his ears twitching. Lumin had stopped too, when Echo muttered "Did you hear that?" Tyson and Zetski were a few yards away from him, right on the edge of the forest, when he had said that. The three turned slightly, now gazing at the on coming storm.
"I agree with splitting up. We have a better chance of finding that tree that way. Should we go in smaller groups or-?"
"I'll venture by myself." Echo looked at Zetski, somewhat alarmed. "I'll be fine." Zetski looked back at Echo. "I promise."
Echo hesitated, but he nodded. And with that, Zetski ran off into the forest, much faster than he'd been running earlier. Tyson and Echo exchanged glances, before going seperate ways into the forest themselves.
Something must have went on with Zetski...

"Wait a minute! How can we contact eachother when we find something!?" "Yeah...that's probably a good Idea. Anyway I'll go with Echo because I got earmuffs with me!" He putted on his earmuffs and then stood next to Echo. "Well Then. I'll go for the remaining party then..." "Three groups are okay enough right? Even though it would be faster to split up more, it could be really dangerous seeing those clouds up there."
Re: Path of Green (Event week 2+3)
Trees, trees everywhere as was to be expected in the forest. Some still were holding on to their orange and reddened leafs while the majority had lost their usual full foliage of leafs. Except the few evergreen trees that stood between the rest. If they had faces, they most likely would have the biggest shit eating grins on them because they had not gone bald.
The hard part was finding that one tall tree the riddle had been speaking off. And it appeared that splitting up had been the wised decision to make in this case as near Echo was a tree, peering up above the rest. It's branches void of leafs and it's bark being climbed on by spiked vines. And in the shimmer of the cold sun was a shimmer of orange right at the top of the large bulk of tree.
Now the question was, was Echo going to call the rest or was he going to climb up there himself?

Re: Path of Green (Event week 2+3)
Echo kept his ears alert, in case there were certain clues to be heard rather than to be seen. However, he stopped and gazed up at that one tree, holding on to barely any leaves near the base, but possibly some at the top. Echo was skeptical at first, mainly because of the vines, but it had to be the right tree. "I think this is the right one." he spoke aloud.
He looked down at his gloves and shoes. If the thorns were large enough, he wouldn't enjoy climbing that tree. Though it couldn't be that different than climbing a metal truss, right? He turned to Boubka, who was walking with him. "So, who's climbing up there first? Or should we make it a race?"

"Hah! Okay! Let's race to the top Echo! We need to find out if this is the right tree. After we know this is the right tree we can call the others right?" He took a ready stance. Competition! He will make him sure that he isn't just an ordinary teenager.
"I actually think this is the right tree! What would be the weapon Echo? A gun? Nunchucks? or a katana?! Oh well....Let's find out then!" He threw his hoodie over his head.

Re: Path of Green (Event week 2+3)
If any the spikes were of a medium length but the main thing that made them seem nasty is could be were the little hooks at the end of each of the thorns that were found along the thick, climbable, vines that hold onto the tree's back for life. Said thorns being the skin that if they pierced, those hooks would keep it in place and would make it a huge pain to remove them.
They better hope they would be able to avoid those if they were to scale the tall tree. With that soft glimmer and shimmer of orange way up on it.
With the few standing so close, it could be noticed that at the trunk itself there were a few splotches of orange at the bark right where thicker spikes broke the bark, dried up tree sap, amber.

Re: Path of Green (Event week 2+3)
Lumin continued to wander the forest, it seemed like he might've been left alone. He didn't exactly notice anyone follow him anyway. It could have been a while until he found the tree where Echo and Boubka were- perhaps he wouldn't find it on his own at all.
Either way, he didn't take well to the darkness in the forest and conjured up a small ball of light to improve his sight. He continued his walk through the forest, looking up, down, and all around- but saw nothing of particular interesting. His ears twitched though, as he thought he heard something- and he headed in that direction. It sounded like voices- so maybe someone had found something!
It wouldn't be long until he saw Echo and Boubka- whom he thought he had separated from a long while ago, he didn't even think he was close to them but he must've wandered closer as he walked aimlessly through the forest. His first instinct was to look up at the tree, however. What a big tree.

Re: Path of Green (Event week 2+3)
Now whoever would be the first to make the climb, would find that it was easier than at a first glance or second. Like an old path of thicker vines that helped the climbers up to the top. THe smaller vines being much quicker to break upon grabbing or standing.
And right, RIGHT at that top of the trees crown, a large blob of amber. Was a very fancy decorated part of the weapon this whole treasure hunt was for.
And elaborate designed guard of a weapon, a gen in the middle with bronze colored wings of metal to each of the sides. The area above the gem jammed into the tree bark clearly being the bit that 'injured' the tree'. At the bottom of it an open slot, ready for assembly with the other parts.
And those with the slightest big of knowledge about weapons would be able to figure out that swords most often were assembled in 3 or 4 parts, the pommel often being part of the handle itself. Meaning 3 parts. 3 path's, coincidence? I think not!

Re: Path of Green (Event week 2+3)
Echo gazed farther up the tree before spotting the blob of amber. "Bingo." he muttered. He bent his knees a little, almost ready to jump at the tree. "You're lucky you have those ear muffs." He then leaped up, almost completely vertical like the tree, with a burst of sound giving him a 8 foot boost upwards. He stretched his legs out back while in midair, and finds a good spot where there weren't too many thorns, good enough to stick a landing on. Another ear-ringing burst of sound emitted from his feet again, as he launched himself at that spot, now almost ten feet up the tree already, gripping onto the bark, keeping himself steady. He kept still for a moment, looked around carefully to see if he had been poked by any thorns. Didn't feel like it, and it didn't seem like it, so he was good. He then made his way up the tree, slow and steady, and careful not to grab onto any thorns.

Re: Path of Green (Event week 2+3)
Watching Echo climb up the tree with bursts of sound waves made him impatient. He quickly looked over the tree, seeing the hilt of the weapon not long after- perhaps the orange that the riddle had mentioned? Well, now it made sense!
With a flash of light, two daggers appeared in his hands out of what seemed to be nowhere. He definitely didn't want to get his hands or feet caught on any of the thorns that covered the tree, so he figured he'd just carve a path of his own. Quickly, he jumped up towards the tree and swung his daggers down, jamming them into the bark and grabbing on tightly to ensure he wouldn't fall. He still had to make sure that he didn't step on any of the thorns- and his jump hadn't propelled him as high as Echo's first jump did- but instead of letting off the occasional burst of energy to propel him upward- he pulled one dagger out of the tree and stuck it in higher, then pulled the other out and stuck it in a little higher than the other.
He continued this trend, occasionally getting more and more reckless as he went, starting to speed up. He stopped being as wary of the thorns as he got higher- now it just seemed he was intent on racing Echo to the top of the tree. Of course, it didn't matter who made it first, but Lumin had a little bit of a competitive spirit. He probably wouldn't be the first to make it to the top seeing as how Echo had his sound powers to help him out. Lumin was kind of on his own with his daggers for this one.

Re: Path of Green (Event week 2+3)
When Echo said "Bingo" Boubka looked at the same spot. "Gotcha" Boubka started to climb the way of the thicker branches. He jumped from branch to branch like it was nothing. He practiced a lot in the forest to jump from branch to branch. The emerald green stripe on his right hand began to glow softly. He moved faster and faster and his shoes started to glow a bit green. Although he got a few thorns stuck in his sweater, it didn't stop him from moving on. They weren't stuck in his skin or something so he could just move on.
His adrenaline rose and he started jumping on some thinner branches too, seeing there were not many thick ones left. One broke. Boubka lost his balance and the world began to slow down for him. In his focus he grabbed a thicker branches and swung himself up again. "ACK!" A little thorn was in his finger. "Gotta move on. Almost there" He jumped to the last branch that was just under the crown. He reached for the piece of amber where a part of the weapon rested in. "A guard...Probably from a sword."
