He frowned. "Sorry... " he said. He was cold... He was never cold. "Yoko... Do I feel feverish to you" he asked. Strangly he felt.... Normal....

Yoko pulled him into the bedroom and laid him on the bed. She laid her hand on his forehead and shook her head, "No....you feel normal..." she answered.

Frost sighed. "I should be." He said "but I'm not.... I'm free but it's not as sweet... I can't create ice to skate... Or crystals to pay for things... I'm not frost... I'm only Tobias chameleon"

She sighed tugging her shirt over her head and using it to cover her chest, and looked up at him hesitantly. She loosened her wings from her back and stretched out her orange feathers, showing all of her seven foot wing span.

She shook her head, "No...they are ugly....." She hugged her wings to her back again and put her shirt back on sitting down and looking at the floor.

Her face went red and a little startled. "A gift....?" She never saw it that way but still didn't know how to look at it anything as an ugly mark.

Yoko felt a strange warmth that brought a smile on her face. Behind her, her tail was swishing back and forth in the air rather happily. No one had ever said such kind words about her wings like that.
