OOC: Continuing where we left off.


"From what I heard, it seems that the noise shouldn't be far from our current position." He attached the lantern to his side, and wielded his second saber. Opening up his helmet so he can get a better look. The lantern light was steadily dimming as time went on. It seems that it needs more oil in order for it to keep going. Hopefully it won't be much longer...

Willow quietly followed, unsure of what was to be found... She brought her sharp weapons close to her body, ready to strike when given the chance.

Milo silently followed behind. He tried paying attention but well, it was difficult. He kept bashing on himself for being so stupid, so unprepared. He stared down at the ground and dragged his short blade beside him. Maybe if this happened, or that happened...

It was just a pointless game of 'what if.' He scowled. Maybe he should stay focused now, since anything could happen at any moment.

Sky then got up, and turned the corner, the torch burned out. "Well this just isn't my day..."

Screach went a little ahead of the group and found the hole Sky fell through. "Must have gone through there." he said examining it. "Welp Geronimo" he said jumping down. Sliding down.

Randalph stopped and looked down into the hole. The lantern at his side, flickered three times before going out. Leaving all of them into complete darkness, as there was little to no light in the labyrinth. "Dammit..." Randalph cursed under his breath. He looked back to the two..or he tried to, but he's sure they can hear him. "It seems like that the lantern has burned out...its in our best interest to pick up the pace so we won't lose each other." He jumped down the hole, nearly hurting himself again upon impact as he almost landed on the lantern, but was able to adjust himself accordingly. He continued to walk forward.

"Great...." It was dark as it was with the lantern... now it seemed like it was pitch black. She sighed. It wasn't like she could just turn the lights on... She'll just have to deal with it, just as she always did when she first entered the knights academy. Being bullied for most of her life made her used to being in the dark... She tried to shake her bad memories. "Alright.." She then hopped into the hole. She picked her pace up trying to find the 'leader'. All she could hear is his armor clanking a bit. "Hey." She reached out trying to find him. She could barely reach him. "Let's wait up for the lil' guy." She felt bad for Milo... She used to be in his shoes.

Milo stared into the darkness. There was no light, and that really unsettled him. But everyone had left. There wasn't the familiar breathing or the footsteps tapping lightly. Don't panic, don't panic, he kept thinking to himself. It worked slightly, but soon he could hear his breath getting heavier with each inhale and exhale. He could feel the room getting smaller.

"Guys...?" he whimpered, stumbling forward. The knight tripped and fell head first into the hole. He landed with a thump. Ouch. Now everything hurt and he felt completely lost. He got up quickly, only to find himself face first into a metal shoulder. Okay, so maybe they were right there...

Sky's ears flicked up as he heard metal clanging from where he was. "Are there others trying to follow me...?" He turned the corner again to find a big room. "Hmmmm....." He stood in the middle, holding his torch to see.

He closes his eyes and moves his hands around in front of him. "If you can't see, what's the point of eyes?" He said hoping the others would hear him. "Also we should wait a few minutes, get ourselves together before we move on."

"Yes we're here Milo" Randalph responded with a hint of growing frustration in his voice. "And we musn't wait, the sooner we find the missing knights the sooner we can leave, and the sooner we can call this assignment done with." He tried to feel his hands on the wall to determine where exactly where they were going, sure it might seem ineffective but it was worth a try to keep them on track. Hopefully we won't split up...

Milo looked down once again. He could hear the annoyance coming from Randalph, and he could tell from the grumbling that Willow wasn't very glad either. He bit his lip as a hand roughly grabbed his arm and dragged him along. He suppressed a sigh. Just another sign of their unhappiness. It's not like he really should have been here anyway. He was just another burden to them. But Randalph was right on this one; the faster they found the knights, the faster they could get the hell out of here.

Sky then heard a noise from in front of him. He looked around some more and noticed there was a gate... a rotten gate that was about to break. "Something is in there..." He pointed the torch towards the gate to light up the area.

Screach walked with them sighing. He wasn't very sure how he got down there in the first place, or why he was following these guys, probably for a sense of companionship from being down here for so long. He saw the all the terrified and sad things that were going on with Milo. He thought he could try and help sometime but he wanted to wait a little, See if there was hope to strengthen him.

Out of the corner of his eye, randalph saw a light from one of the labyrinths mini tunnels. Hopefully the others will know where to go as well. "Hey guys follow me to this tunnel, I think I found something!" He turned a right to the tunnel with a light. As he stepped in a bit further he saw not only what seemed to be a rotten gate...but also someone else it seems. Perhaps one of the knights we were sent to pick up!

Willow loosened her grip on Milo. I think he can handle this...
 She then let go of Milo, rushing up next to the groups leader. She looked over to the rotten gate, someone stood beside it... He better be one of the knights we are trying to find... 

Milo inhaled sharply as he felt Willow let go of his arm. Oh God, they better not be leaving him alone again… His anxiety faded as soon as he noticed the light though. The warm glow gently lit up the figures of the other knights. It was comforting knowing someone had a torch in this dark place.

Wait, a light?

The sudden realization came over him. It was another person! It had to be one of the lost knights they were looking for. But he also noticed why the group had suddenly came to a stop. Oh. In their way, a large gate stood in front of them. The wood was old and rotting. It had to be the work of the humidity in the cave. God it was terrible down here. But for now, this discovery is what intersted him the most.

A giant beast came out of the gate. It was made of stone, but yet it had features much like a dragon, and was almost human like. "Alright then..." Sky had pulled out his sword and readied to fight this stone man dragon.

"If this gate is is weak, why don't we just break it down?" He said kicking at one of the wooden, rotting bars. Plus we could get in there faster to help fight that thing." He looked up at the stone humanoid.

Randalph got a glance at the mighty stone dragon humanoid thingymahjig, and his eyes went wide. He took a step forward as the light became ever so brighter as he got closer. And gribbed his two sabers in both of his hands. And charged at the stone dragon, without much thinking. He began to slash his two sabers in mid air as he approached ever so closer. Darnit! I should've thought this a bit more through perhaps....He thought in his mind.

Willow also rushed in. Her long hidden knives dragged across the ground, making sparks appear.

Milo, instead of charging right into battle, stood there frozen. He was freaking out right now. This was too unexpected. What should he do? The question spun endlessly inside his head, but he had to act quickly.

"Oh God," he murmured, basically forcing himself to stumble forward towards the beast. What was he doing? He was walking towards his death! Maybe he should have stayed back... It was too late now. He joined the battle. Backing out now would mean chickening out, which just furthered the fact that he wasn't meant to be a knight.

He swallowed nervously. This wasn't the time to bring himself down. Milo fumbled for his sword and took a nervous swing, hoping it could do some kind of damage.

Sky saw other people show up and ready to battle this beast. He pulled his sword out which was in one blade form at the moment. "Hurricane Slash!" His blade glowed and he charged in and slashed the stone dragon, making the room extremely windy and throwing the gargantuan beast around. He then saw it coming down on Milo. "Look out!" He ran towards him and dove and tackled him from being crushed.

Screach watched them charge in. "We'll if you can't beat em join em." He said with a purple glowing arua surrounding his right hand. "Charged up and ready to fire." He said bolting in at break neck speeds. "Take this beast!" He yelled swinging his glowing fist of fury at the rock monster.
