[MLP RP] Manehattan: City of opportunities!

The clacking of hooves upon pavement was audible throughout this bustling city, and the cause would be many of the pony-drawn carriages occupying the roads (and if one were to look close, they would see the occasional artist pony drawing pony-drawn carriages. Go figure). Buildings stood upright and stood tall, casting shadows across the streets and alleyways, some being apartments, the others being thriving businesses. The sun was high up in the sky, and many of the civilians wore either hats or carried parasols to stay clear of the blazing sunlight. Some just liked to stay in the shadows, it was cooler there.

A duo sat outside a cafe, and it was the most unusual of duos as far as friendships go - a female low-ranked member of the Lunar Guard and a gruff, heavy built male earth pony. The mare, no doubt younger than the pony she sat beside, was of thin build, surprisingly thin and almost... frail. Her leather bat wings tight against her blue coat as she sat, legs propped up on the chair. Her mane, similar to her tail, was of a lighter blue and a relaxing green and her cutie mark was a raised pair of white, feathered wings. She seemed to be a gentle, caring pony, and an approachable one for that matter.

Speaking of approachable, the stallion wasn't. In fact, that distasteful scowl across his face may as well be the guy's default expression ...That or he was simply recoiling from bad coffee, which he promptly pushed away with his large from hooves. His coat was a light brown and his next to nonexistant mane was a deep red. If you were to see this fellow at a distance, you may as well assume he was bald. His cutie mark was a single building tool - a silver wrench, and nothing more. "Wing, that is, by far, the worst coffee I have tasted. I could make a better brew at home." The stallion's voice was deep, and followed with a shivering feeling of authority and dominance despite not having any power over anyone.
"Oh hush, at least now you know not to buy it here, hm?" the mare replied with a light chuckle, "It's a day out, so enjoy it white it lasts!"

Well besides the odd duo there was another set of ponies on their way. A trio to be excat. The one up front was a well young adult colt. His build seemed more familiar to that of a mare to be honest. The only thing that kept him a big manly was the way his voice sounded. A dull light red coat decorated with purplish blue spots and areas. It's mane short and spike and a long tail. The purplish blue returning along with a light blue along it. Resting on the earth ponies hat sat a green hat which casually looked out of place. His cutie mark; a set of 3 color pallets encircled with a white line. His dark blue eyes filled with curiosity and wonder as he looked a head. One could easily say this poor colt was a miss match of colors. "Just look at this place! It's so grant and such a pretty weather!" The surprisingly deep voice yelled out to his companions.

The second in line was a dark purple Pegasus who seemed like she was about to die thanks to being there. Long slender legs, slender face but a rather firm looking chest and a pair of powerful wings at her sides. On her neck lightly bounced along a white choker with a light blue gem with each step she took. Her mane hanging half in front her face and a long raccoon pattenred tail behind. Both being of the same light blue as that gem but with pink highlights to them. A trio of two small stars and one large one with a pink trail seemed to be what made up her cutie mark. Small but thick lashed eyes with a blue and pink gradient to them looked at the miss match in front of her. "I am a creature of the night. I should not be here!"

And lastly there was a really scrawny looking colt, sticking very close to the only mare of the group. A leafy green for his main coat and an aqua green for his short mane and longer tail which... had holes in it? Now to mention his legs also seemed to be riddled with holes, at least the one leg that wasn't covered up. He dipped his horned head lower with those lizard like eyes scanning and seeing all those ponies looking at him with that disapproval in their eyes. Ah yes what seemed like a changeling among the common folk. THe only thing however that was denying this was the fact that he lacked those insect like wings, had a firm but holes-less horn and a tragedy mask split in the middle as cutie mark on his flank. His fangs just a bit too long to stay in his mouth and pointing out ever so slightly.

A rather loud noise of hooves against pavement as another Earth pony sat by a table, near to five other ponies. He didn't really mind the heat.. at least it didn't seem so with his optimistic smile and shining green eyes. Or more, one eye. Not that he didn't have the other one, no, it was just partially covered with his short, curly, pinned up in some kind of.. well, pony tail, dim red mane. His tail was pretty long and pinned up in several places just like his mane, and his coat was a light yellow with red markings and freckles all over his body. A rather regular pony. Only one thing was interesting: He looked like an adult stallion so far, tall and rather strong (he had a pretty big backpack on his back), though kinda thin... so why he didn't have his Cutie Mark yet?

The male huffed with a relief as he almost threw the backpack on the ground beside him, he then entered the cafe just to leave it in a small while with a big cup of.. cold milk. He greeted other ponies with a cheerful smile and sat by his table. After taking a big sip of a milk, he reached to his backpack and took out a set of colourful paints, a page of paper and some other artistic stuff. He started sketching some picture, glancing at the ponies around and sipping some milk from time to time.
