Into The Flames...

Blaze sighed in annoyances, shaking her head as she knew to well of the blue blur's ego. "Right..." She glared. "How are we to attack it through? It is made of pure lava...." She tapped her foot before glancing to the ruin building pieces. "If only we can get those ruin pieces to move in a very fast motion- and then hit the creature with it..." She sighed. "Sonic, have anything of mind in moving those ruin pieces fast enough to go as fast as you into that monster?" She pointed to the ruin building pieces, then to Iblis.

He frowned. "Oh. Yeah... riiiiight. About that..." Sonic then nodded simply to Blaze, shrugging. "Well, yeah... I could run circles so fast a tornado gets made and all the pieces lift up. Only problem is they could get launched anywhere. It'd just be luck and all..." He sighed, looking to the huge monster again.

Blaze sighed, then an idea seem to pop in her head. "I can always kick the pieces that go flying the others way back at the creature." She glance to Sonic. "Up for the challenge against this thing?"

Nothing more had to be said. He was already at the ruins and running circles around them. "Ya sure this'll work, Blaze?!" He called to the lavender cat, a tornado slowly beginning to form. "It'll take a while, better be worth it!"

Blaze nodded to Sonic. "I am not be fully postison, but it is worth the shot- there isn't another way to fight it without contacting with it..." She waited as she was ready. Eying the lava creature. "..."

The pieces began to rise into the air and orbit the blue hedgehog. And at the same time... Iblis had spotted them. With a roar of fury, it made it's way towards Blaze and Sonic. "!" He picked up the pace, the pieces starting to spin faster and faster. "Come oooon..."

Blaze tenses, standing ready. 'hurry..' Worry was starting to strike her mind, but she push such thoughts for the sake of focus, she needed to focus if she was to keep those pieces on target.

Suddenly one piece launched straight for Blaze. Only one however. And it was small in size, not enough to deal any real damage to Iblis. The other pieces continued to rapidly spin around Sonic, the tornado getting gradually stronger. "Blaze! Distract him, I can't keep going if he tries anythin'!"

Blaze narrowed her eyes, but nodded. "Right," She leaped onto the roof away from sonic. "Gr!" She kicked a small rock off the roof, glaring as she kicked more rocks off the roof to the other side of Iblis. "Hope that's enough to distract that thing." She mutter.

Sonic pushes himself more and more, until finally, he breaks the sound barrier and a loud explosion of wind roars across the city as a blue tornado finally forms, hurling rocks all over the place. "NOW BLAZE!"

Blaze nodded, leaping in flaming speed as she kicks the rocks at Ilbis. 'I hope this works...' Each rock thyat wasn't flying at Iblis, with a quick kick- was flying toward iblis- no matter the size as Blaze didn't waste time in getting to the rocks and kicking them to course.

Sonic skids to a halt after all of the rocks are launched into the air. More than half of them pounded Iblis straight in the face and caused the creature to stumble backwards and actually be defeated. "Huh. That was a bit too easy, don'tcha think?" The blue hedgehog said with a slight smirk. "Guess he couldn't handle the heat of it all. Heh heh heh." He chuckled to himself upon saying that, and looked back towards the lava in which Iblis lay in.

Blaze stop next to the blue hedgehog. "I don't the battle is over, Sonic... I believe this is just the start..." She mutter, narrowing her eyes. "This Lava must by that creature's source of energy and health... But, at the moment we can't be sure. Let's find us some food and get back to the cave." She looks to Sonic. "we don't have time to waste... If I am correct, we need to be ready for when he comes again..."

The hedgehog frowned a bit. "Eeeh... sure, whatever. Lead the way, Blaze." He said, looking un-easily at the lava below. Just like water, except ridiculously hot and thicker. Drowning in that stuff... ouch. He shuddered at the mere thought.

Blaze sighed, jumping roof to roof to see if that could find any place for food.
