"Well you can also learn some dark majik just to be sure." Devionus said as she floated around.

"I think I got that base covered. Thanks for the offer, though." Ever since she discovered them, Stella never thought about her abilities were good, per se. Just hearing dark magic immediately made her associate those abilities with it.

Who knows, perhaps in the future, learning more dark magic might just be a perfect fit.

"well if you do than you should be good to go! " Devionus smiked. "Though... Even if we do defeat him, I can't guarantee we'll find the other me."

"Perhaps not, but is is our best chance," Maggie would note.

Stryker nodded. "Alright, everyone listen up, cuz I'm only gonna say this once and we may not even have proper time to practice.

Ayah, take some supplies and watch over from the rooftops, if anything goes awry, tell us immediately.

Stella will serve as the bait.

Me and Devionus will be waiting nearby to ambush; Maggie will too. We hope her ability to petrify will halt or at least slow him down.

Anything got anything to add?"

"nope" Dev replied. Lillith crossed her arms. "What do I do?" She said annoyed.

"You'll, uh, hmm... Didn't actually think about that," Stryker would admit. "Perhaps assist us and Maggie to slow him down?"

"I want to peel his skin off...." She said grinning to herself.

While the others were busy talking, the lamia noticed something odd and opened a window.

The warm, midday sun was completely overcast with gray clouds. A stormy, pitch black darkness was approaching from the west.

Her breath had turned cold and her scales shivered.

"We, uh, we might have a problem," she announced. "Was there a forecast for a heavy thunderstorm today?"

"He-Heavy thunderstorms?!??" Devionus said as she seemed to recognize this weather pattern. Her total mood changed to fear.

"Wait wasn't it like sunny like literally a minute ago?" Lillith asked "no way a thunderstorm just came on in under a minute."

"Mini-drones are out of the question, Ayah's not gonna be any good when soaked and an umbrella would just attract lightning," Stryker was thinking aloud. "Mag, think you can handle the cold?"

"I-I think I can," she said, shivering. "Is-it just me or is everything getting fuzzy?"

"Maggie?"

The snake gal would gasp and reach out with her hands, nearly falling over. "I-I can't see," her eyes would fill up with tears. "I can't see!"

Lillith went to Maggie and carefully lifted her back to a stable stance. "Yeah we are gonna have to bring you back inside. Just calm down your vision isn't gone forever. Just... Snakes don't do good in this weather and if it starts raining ,I'm screwed too." Lillith mumbled the last part. Devionus was increasingly getting worried. "May I join you guys in the act of staying out of the weather? You n-never know you know?" She wasn't asking anyone in particular.

Without a word, the wolf would just make sure the sleeves on his trenchcoat wouldn't get in the way of him drawing his revolvers. A good thing the munitions were waterproof.

He looked to the sky as it begun to rain and sighed.

All that was left of the plan was him, Lillith and Stella.

Lillith dragged Maggie inside and then she stayed on the porch of the mansion where there was cover. "You got a little bottle that's empty you could possibly put me in? I can stay in the rain but only for a few minutes before I start dying on you guys."

"I'd be best if you stayed inside then, with the others," Stryker would tell her.

"No! I want to bring my master back! " Lillith argued.

"Even if it'll spell certain death for you?"

"Yes! I'll do anything to save my master!! In the end, she is the only one that matters" Lillith seemed to be in a sort of trance saying that last part.

The wolf opened his mouth to say something, but closed it. He knew people like her, with that determined look in their eyes. Fools focused on just one objective, unwilling to listen to reason.

He'd sigh, moving over to her and handing her his trenchcoat.

If she meant what she said, then he intended for her to survive, no matter what.

"Thanks" lillith hid under the coat. She was thinking of the few mages she had encountered. 'well recin wasn't that powerful. Even with his ability to change into creatures.'

Lightning would strike right across the street. The earth would shake and the concrete and dirt would rise up, forming a vaguelly humanoid figure.

Eyes like two bright light would appear on what was the creature's head.

It would then start its approach, smashing an apartment complex by simply bumping into it.

Stryker would draw his pistols.

"Showtime, ladies!"

"Recin has turned into better" lillith rolled her eyes as she took out her whip.

Stryker begun unloading his heaviest munitions, biting off small chunks off the golem with each shot.

But the abomination was fixated on just one thing - the awestruck Stella, frozen in fear.

A stomp would send a shockwave her way, splitting the pavement and sending bits of it flying.

"Lillith, get her outta there!"

Lillith dragged Stella out of the way. "Oi snap out of it, Devionus! I know he's strong but so are you!" Lillith was already acting up the role Stella was supposed to act.

When the shockwave reached its end a good five feet before reaching Stryker, a smaller golem would form.

Stella didn't need to be told twice. "H-how long is that whip?" she'd ask, running. "I-I may have an idea."

''How long do you want it be?" Lillith smacked her whip to the floor.
