Stryker would put the round back where it belonged. "Maybe the boogies messed with G.U.N. first. Underestimating them is a bad idea," he'd say. "Don't have much of them left, but they're the definitely what I'll be using against the wizard. I'll call in the rest of team. We'll get back to you once they're here. In the meantime, why don't you go with Maggie and explain the situation to the others?"

"Boogies don't attack until their means of food get threatened..." Devionus said coldly. "I don't think id be that good at explaining this." She looked at maggie.

"Then it's trouble," Stryker would add in. "G.U.N.'s good at overwatch, but once they start poking their noses where they don't belong.."

"Let me do the talking then," Maggie would say with a smile. "I think I know how to get a point across."

"Yeah, I had a feeling..." She murmured and walked a lil closer to maggie

Back in the living room, they were met with likes of Kia and Prima.

Maggie would go in front of Dev, a bit worried the other two might lash out at her unless she can vouch for her and explain the situation. "We talked it out," she'd start. "Explaining how things are and how they're gonna be if things go one certain way. Stryker and I offered her a helping hand in getting back home and getting rid of the wizard that's hunting her down."

Prime glared "Talked it out. As if!" Kia was silent but giving a similar look. Devionus glated back.

"We laid down our cards on the table and told her what would happen next," she'd explain. "How she'd be hunted down relentlessly, even in this world, by the wizard. And I know from experience how persistent some hunters are, especially mages. I want to give her a chance, an option to stop running and fight."

"I don't trust lieing people like her!" Prima raised her voice slightly. "Who knows how much she's done besides kill ayah's friend!"

"She's had a run in with G.U.N. Took quite a few down with her 'till they captured her," Maggie would say. "It was self-defence. They were after her friend, too."

"I thought they were going to kill her. I had to stop them.. kill them." 

"Is that how you resolve your issues?!" Prima said 

"Yeah! Is that a problem?!?" Devionus replied

"G.U.N.'s pretty persistent," Maggie would say. "There's a good chance they're still spying on her friend. She's one of a kind."

"they better not be..." Devionus sounded way more monstrous.

"But G.U.N.'s an issue for another day," Maggie would say. "Apart from hunting Devionus down, The Wizard's also the only one who knows of Liela's whereabouts. I understand if you're not willing to help because of Devionus, but I'd give my life for a chance to help both her and Liela."

"hmmm.....I guess for the sake of our liela I'll help... Just her" prima giving another stinging glare to devious.

"What about Voltraire?" Maggie would ask. "If he's not going to help, he should stay clear of the mansion."

There might not be one after they're done.

"but he loves liela. I'm sure he'd want to help." Kia said.

"I think it'd be best if you were to talk to him," Maggie would suggest. "In the meantime, I'll check with Stryker, see if the members of his team are here already."

Kia nods and walks upstairs to see voltriare.

Maggie would lead Dev back to Stryker and surely enough, his team was already there. Judging by how cold the room was, they must have used the window instead of the front door.

Ayah would stare into Dev's soul the moment she walked in. She'd never forgive her for what she did.

The rest gave them one brief look before getting back to their respective jobs. Cynthia needed to get her disguise kit ready, Sullivan was on the phone, perusing some goods for Pavel, which the rat would then make into potent serums to keep the Wizard tame.

Stryker drawing a map of the area and writing down what each of them were to do.

Devionus gave the same glare back. "Looking at me like that isn't going to change anything" :}

Kia knocked on voltriare's room. "May I come in?"

"His last words," Ayah would start. "What were they?"

After a while, Volt would let out. "No. Maybe. What do you want?"

Devionus smiled. ""I have waited patiently, so that when the time comes, I face my end calmly."

"I wanted to check on you...I know you and liela were close...even before.."

A chill went down Ayah's spine. She didn't expect those to be his last words at all. "Whoa, that's," she'd mumble. "That's not what I thought he'd say."

"Is the fake one gone?" Volt would ask.

"I can respect a mortal who can accept death with such peace...what did you expect him to say?"

"Yes, she's gone."

Ayah opened her mouth to say something, but then closed it. When she looked away, it wasn't the same death glare she was giving Devionus just a few seconds back - she was sad.

"When did she leave and how?" Volt would ask. "You better not be lying to me."
