Beginning of a Journey

"I suppose so." Wolf replies.

He crouches down by the bench to retrieve his own bag as well. He picks it up and slings it over his shoulder.

It took Reena a little longer to get her bags all around herself, but once she was done, she turned back towards Wolf. She cast a glance towards where people were lining up to board the train, then returned her gaze back to him.

"Well, I guess I should get going," she started, "It was nice meeting you, Wolf! I hope my method of traveling didn't bore you too much." She smiled playfully.

"Well, it wasn't all bad. It was nice to be able to keeping moving even while resting... just that sick feeling on there didn't help." Wolf replies.

"Bah, it got you some snuggles and, obviously, you lived!" Reena pointed out, nudging him with one paw. "It was nice having company either way," she added after.

"Yes, that was a nice change." he says.

He looks over to the train.

"I suppose you should head over there and get ready to get on." he adds.

Reena followed his gaze to the train. She nodded a little. "Yeah, it's about that time." Her eyes returned to Wolf. "Gonna walk over there with me?" she asked.

"Sure. It's not going to make much difference to my departure whether it's from right here, or over there." he replies.

"And then we can have a long hug in front of the train like in movies!" Reena giggled, stepping past him and starting off for the line of people boarding the train, "Other people will be so jelly."

Wolf inclines his head slightly.

"What is jelly and why would other people be it?" he asks, glancing back down at Reena.

The Klee Kai paused at his question, looking back over at him. It took her a moment before she smiled knowingly again.
"Jealous!" she replied, "Jelly is slang for jealous."

"Oh... well, why would others get jealous because we hug?" he asks, as he starts following her over towards the lineup.

"Because they're--" Reena paused, focusing her gaze on him again. She just shook her head and patted him on the arm.
"Oh, nevermind, Wolf," she replied with a smile, "I'll explain it another time."

"And if we don't, I guess I'll just be left wondering." he says.

"Oh, I'm sure you'd find out one day," Reena assured him. She stopped at the back of the line, withdrawing her train ticket from her pocket.

He shakes his head slightly, having no idea what she was talking about. He stands beside her as she lines up, even though he's not going to be getting on the train.

While they stood in line, Reena pulled out her phone.
"And we can't forget one more selfie!" she added, grabbing Wolf's arm with one of her own and standing up on her toes next to him. The camera was already activated on her phone, which showed them both on the screen as she sought to point it at them properly.

"Smile for me again!" she urged, hovering her thumb over the button on the screen.

Wolf is pulled a little off balance when Reena grabs his arm to get him in another photo with her. He looks down at her and frowns slightly. He then looks back at the camera and stops frowning, but doesn't smile for her.

"Wooooolf, c'mon!" Reena insisted, playfully shaking his arm a little. She continued to hold the phone up, but didn't snap a photo just yet.

Wolf looks towards Reena and bares his teeth slightly. He's not growling though, it's more like he's mocking what a smile looks like.

The dog snorted in amusement at him. "Pffft, fine, make your silly face then," Reena said, "Just make it at the camera!" She wiggled the phone in the air in front of them. "My arm is getting tired!"

"Now you've missed your chance." he says, smiling slightly, but making sure to look away from the camera.

"Suit yourself then!" The Klee Kai replied.
She pushed herself up onto her toes suddenly, using his arm for some additional leverage. Her head turned and she quickly pressed the cold, wet of her nose to the side of Wolf's muzzle in a little kiss. And as she planted said kiss on him, of course, she snapped the picture in the middle of it.

Wolf is surprised when Reena leans in and gives him a kiss on the muzzle. It's almost enough to make him miss the fact that she'd snapped a photo. He kind of figured she'd get another picture. He eases back a bit once she withdrew and looks down at her, unsure of how to reply.

Reena, on the other hand, seemed quite pleased with herself. She'd pulled her phone closer again and was looking over the picture she had taken. Her tail was wagging a little bit behind her and she smugly turned the phone to let Wolf see the screen more easily.
"There we go!" she said happily, "It's not a smile, but it's the next best thing!" She looked up from her phone to grin at the wolf.

He hardly looks at the photo Reena had taken.

"Uh... I guess so." Wolf replies, a little flustered but mostly confused by what had happened.
