Tyson VS Twilight

Twilight took care of the rest of the spikes rushing towards him with his Dark Blades, then flew to the top of the dome and knocked against it with a hand. "Really now?" He asked. "A dome?" 

He didn't even seem to care much at this point, more like he just wanted to play around with Tyson until he was bored with him. Tyson proved himself to be very interesting though, so Twilight didn't think he'd get bored any time soon.

Dustin and Flame noticed the dome Tyson created. He was wondering why he made it.

"Hmm....."

Dustin was thinking, but he doesn't know how to do it without letting Twilight see him.

From the outside, the dome was almost perfectly opaque, and very smooth. It also felt pretty thick as well, as if not a simple fire can melt it quickly, if at all. And it was very cold, even just standing near it.

Forming the dome must have took some toll on Tyson, however. Shrouded in the darkness of the dome of perma-ice, breathing heavily, he thought of his next options. He'd have to hold off from the special attacks and go melee if he had to come out, which had to be soon, since there were no holes for oxygen. He had to think of a plan.

He was pretty sure he had heard Dustin right before he had made the dome. He was a good fighter, but he's normally peaceful. If only Dustin could keep him busy. That was his first option.

Twenty Seconds. Twilight had knocked on the dome.

Second option was to stay inside and wait to get enough energy back for any more special attacks. If only he had enough oxygen. He slowed down his breathing, careful to conserve what was left. Thirty seconds passed already.

Tyson had to figure out what was up with this guy. Being that he's uber naive, he couldn't help himself. He can't let Twilight leave.

Forty Five seconds. Twilight should have gotten bored by now... perfect opportunity.

Tyson slid his feet into warrior stance, cupped both hands together, and placed them, left over right, as if he was about to do some weird clap. His arms stretched towards the faint sound of Twilight's voice.  Two points, left and right of Twilight, turned 90 degrees, as if they were a secret compartment, and chains of ice lashed out to Twilight's arms and legs, aiming to pin him down.

Twilight floated back and crossed his arms, waiting for Tyson to get out of the dome that he created for himself. He seemed rather bored with what was- or wasn't- going on. He flapped his wings, once, twice, he doesn't do that often. 

When the chains of ice appeared, he took a sharp dive downward, and when his feet touched the ground he jumped, ascending rather quickly. He had only just managed to avoid the chains, probably out of luck. He formed dark blades to fend off the chains in case they decided to keep coming at him, from his movements he had distanced himself quite a bit from Tyson and his ice dome. He didn't look it, but he was pretty startled by the chains suddenly coming for him.

Dustin then looks at his hands, noticing the flame has been lit. He wanted to fight so badly, but he knows that ty doesn't want him to get hurt.

So, Dustin waits still until his next move.

More parts of the ice began to release chains of thick ice, all aiming for Twilight to pin him down. Most of them would either miss, or merely get deflected by the dark blades, and those that failed to pin him down would retract, and lash back out, as if the chains were a bunch of angry octopus tentacles.

(...Heh. Angry octapus tentacles.)

Due to the shock he experienced from before, it took a moment for him to actually react to the ice chains coming towards him. It was too late, however, and one of them managed to snag his arms. He did his best to deflect the rest of them with his dark blades however. When he had deflected the rest of them, he tried to cut the chain holding his arm with one of his dark blades.

Dustin noticed the fight was still on and he started thinking on how to help Tyson still.

Whatever those chains were made out of, it didn't break easily. For one, they seemed to keep coming back, trying to grab a hold of Twilight just after being deflected or missing. One of the chains had made a u-turn around Twilight and went for his other arm, and two others doing the same had the first one missed.

But Tyson didn't have all day to hide in his dome. He had to get Twilight pinned down, and quickly.

Twilight wasn't given much time to regain his focus, but he was focused enough to be aware of the ice chains still coming at him again. Frustrated, he continued to deflect them as best he could, while clawing at the chain around his arm. 

Nobody else would have been able to make it out, but he seemed to mouth some kind of swear under his breath as the chain didn't break. He looked up at the chains still coming at him and reached out to grab out one of them purposely- he grabbed it so that one chain link would still be hanging limply out of his grip. He used the limp chain link and whacked it against the other ice chain holding his other arm hoping that they'd end up breaking each other.

Well that plan isn't working so well. And Tyson needs a plan B.

Found one.

Nearly all of the chains that had been deflected started to circle around Twilight instead of lashing around him. The one that had snagged his foot remained sturdy, even against the other chain that Twilight managed to grab a hold off. It just wouldn't budge! But then the chain that Twilight grabbed went limp, and slipped out of his grip, and rotated with the other chains, in a cyclone of icy chains around Twilight.

Like some sort of sphere...

Twilight looked around at the cyclone of ice chains and smirked rather than letting himself get taken aback by the sudden change in tactics. 

He let his dark blades fly and bounce off of the ice chains, seeing as there was no use in trying to break them. He let a blast of condensed darkness fly from one of his palms to see if it would do anything different. Besides that, he floated there and waited for the chains to do whatever they were going to do.

Dustin continues to watch the fight with Flame, hoping that Tyson would be all right.

Unfortunately for Twilight, his attack just missed in between two of the rotating spikes, leaving them to continue swirling. But the tables turned. The dome around Tyson got less thick from the amount of chains he was producing, meaning that the output of chains was from the dome itself. It gave Tyson a little more time to breathe, but only enough for him to do this last attack, and for the barrier to break.

The chains stopped in midair, all pointing at Twilight, and zig-zagged towards him, anticipating more blasts of darkness, and waiting to finally chain him, hoping to render him unable to move.

Then all of the chains came at him. Great.

Not like that was too big of a deal for Twilight though, but he wouldn't just let Tyson know that. He let the chains surround him one by one. It was suffocating, or it would've been if he really had to breathe to live. 

But suddenly he was gone, but it was unknown whether Tyson knew that immediately as he was under all of those chains- the chains probably would have caved inward if they were really tight around him. And he appeared behind Tyson- from his shadow. "I think you forgot something important." He whispered, holding dark claws against his neck. He wouldn't have killed him though, he seemed like he was vying for a reaction out of him.

Dustin noticed Twilight's dark claws against Tyson's neck. But, that made him more concerned than before. That made him lose it and a fire aura appears in his hands. "That's it. I got to help Tyson now! I don't know who the guy he facing is, but I'm going to help!" He says.

Flame and Blizzard noticed as Dustin starts charging at the two. Dustin was then near the two ready for anything that was for him, especially from Twilight since Dustin never fought him before. Dustin finally reached Twilight and Tyson. "LEAVE MY FRIEND ALONE!!!!" he shouted as he fires a fire blast at Twilight.

The dome shattered. Just like that. As soon as the chains had missed, the dome and chains just broke apart, leaving a jagged ring around Tyson and Twilight, leaving them exposed. Tyson, stood still, careful not to move an inch or he'd be cut with those claws, clearly surprised on what just happened.

Thing is, Dustin saw as well. He was charging for them. Not a good idea.

On the other hand, Twilight didn't move the claws of darkness either... hesitant to kill, Tyson assumed. Tyson, without moving his head, looked at his waist, where his Dual Frost Khopesh should have been. They weren't there. They must have dropped... but where?

Tyson had no more energy to create any more perma-ice, at least without him fainting again. He had to let Dustin fight for a while, even if it did seem unfair. He'd just have to let it go.

He just had to hope that Twilight wouldn't kill him first.

At the sound of Dustin charging, turning to look at the fire blast coming towards them both, Twilight seized Tyson's neck and slammed his head towards the ground. As close as they already were to the ground, Twilight figured that Tyson wouldn't have enough time- or energy- to break out of his hold. Either way, he ducked under the fire blast- taking Tyson with him and keeping him close. 

"Are you sure you want to do that?" He called out to Dustin. "I have your friend right here, I could kill him with a jab of the claws. You aren't too bright are you?"

Dustin realized the claw near Tyson's neck and stops, but the fire aura still appears in his hands and on his feet. He was angry. He did want to help Tyson, but he needed to find a way to get Twilight to let him go without hurting Tyson.

Thinking hard, Dustin just stood there, trying to figure out how to get Tyson free. "Come on, Dustin. Think! How would you get Tyson free without hurting him or getting him killed?" He thought to himself. He then looks around, looking for stuff to use to help Tyson out. He also realized Tyson was out of energy to create any stuff out of ice, which made him think even more hard.

Well this is just faaaantastic.


Tyson thought to himself. 'I swear, you think too loud.'


'This fight only started because of the pent up rage from my past, and Twilight seemed to feed on it from then. Even the dome strategy didn't seem to work. Is this it?


...No. I have to fight that last bit of energy left in me.'


Using what little he had in this sudden adrenaline rush, he managed to pry the dark claws just enough ways apart from him so that he could slip through. Rolling out of the way, the heel of his shoe tapped on something cold and dense. Very dense. Then another one.


The khopesh. Both of them.


Quickly picking both of them up, he readied for another surpise attack from Twilight, a shadow sneak, dark blades, whatever it was. Even if it ment expending his energy as well.

Twilight let Tyson escape from his grip- and jumped back so he was standing in the middle of the two. He looked at Tyson, he seemed to be ready to defend against anything Twilight had to throw at him. He looked to Dustin, who appeared to be a much easier target. He seemed to be stuck in his own mind, unable to decide on what to do. Twilight knew what he was going to do now.

He sunk down into Dustin's shadow- which would have been easily seen by both of them seeing as how they both had him in their sights. He jumped out of Dustin's shadow as soon as he was close enough to him, however, and swung a set of dark claws down at the vulnerable mobian.

Dustin was shocked. He did saw a bit of the fight earlier, but the only ones he saw was the fight when the two used the weapons. He looked around, but he got hit by Twilight by the claws. He stumbled back and checks if he was bleeding on the spot he got hit.

"Ok....I never saw that coming." He said as he gets back up. He looked at Twilight, raises his sword up, and slashes 3 times, firing 3 slash waves at Twilight. "This guy may be hard, but I better keep my guard on." He thought to himself

(Dustin was in the middle of thinking about what to do, not to mention he hasn't had any experience trying to counter or dodge Twilight's shadow sneaking. I would accept a block- but an easy dodge like that?

I'm calling that out.)

(Yeah, I'm gonna have to agree with Deux here. Sorry, bud ._.)

(Oh. So...should I change it to something else?)
