Tyson VS Twilight

Tyson ran around to the left as Twilight made his attack towards Dustin, a perfect time to strike. He took his right foot and turned it 45 degrees right, giving him an extra leap towards Twilight, but still not in range to attack yet. He took one more leap. Two.

Tyson's thoughts raced throughout his mind.

'If he dosen't notice me in time, I can go for a combo or two to the back, but if he teleports, I know when to expect it now.'

Everything bombarded his mind. Twilight knew he was being tag teamed. This wasn't good for him, not good at all, and he knew they had back up in the form of mangy pets. He looked at the waves coming towards him, having no time to focus on Tyson though his ears twitched as he heard his movement. 

He sunk into the ground, jumping from each of the slash wave's shadows then finally to Dustin's. He had no other choice, it was time to play defensive. He wouldn't be able to get out of this alright any other way.

Dustin sees Twilight going into his shadow again. "Oh, come on.....this again!?" he thought to himself. He been hit by Twilight when he did this before. This time, Dustin needed to stay on guard more since he doesn't know when Twilight might hit him again.

Dustin stopped firing his slash waves attack, hold his sword in front of him, and starts looking around, hoping he could be more prepared for the same attack Twilight had before.

Missed. Darn it.

Tyson skidded to slow down his speed, and watched as Twilight jumped into Dustin's shadow. He turned his feet towards them, and got another running start. If he can't use anymore perma-ice until it's replenished, he'll have to stick with regular ice. Good thing it's nighttime.

He flicked his wrists, and two trails quickly curved around Dustin, aiming for his shadow, rather Twilight hiding in it. Maybe having a layer of ice over it will do something. It was worth a shot, right?

Twilight watched from Dustin's shadow as he looked around and prepared for him to strike again, then he turned his attention to the ice that Tyson created to cover Dustin's shadow. Their attempts to subdue him were almost hilarious. He could just jump to another shadow if he needed to rise up out of the ground. It was cold though, so that was inconvenient. 

He stayed in Dustin's shadow and waited to see what the two of them would do next. The longer he stayed in Dustin's shadow, it slowly began to take his form until they could clearly see a silhouette of Twilight on the ground where Dustin's shadow used to be. A little cliche, he thought, but he couldn't exactly stop it from happening.

Dustin watches as the trails starts to appear and curve around him and aimed at his shadow instead of Twilight hiding in it. He wasn't sure what Tyson had planned for this, but he is Dustin's friend, so Dustin trust Tyson on what he's doing.

Dustin looks at his shadow that Twilight jumped into, realizing that this was his chance to rest and charge up his fire attacks and his power, just in case if Twilight plans to attack Dustin again.

The ice then spread over Dustin's shadow and hopefully Twilight, the ice not as thick as perma-ice, but not too thin either. Good thing Dustin nor Twilight had moved at too much, or it would have missed. Hopefully Twilight be stuck in place, whether or not Dustin had moved. Most likely not, but Tyson didn't know that.

Maybe Blizzard could come back and help, but he'd have to risk his own shadow being taken over as well.

"Tch." He watched the two desperately try to make movements to still try and stop him. It was pretty useless. "Step up your game." He called out to both of them. There was a way to get him out of Dustin's shadow, they just had to come up with it. 

He crossed his arms and tapped his foot while in the shadow, the shadow making the same movements he wanted to make. It was up to them to figure out how to draw him out of Dustin's shadow- it's not like he was invincible and he knew that. In fact, he didn't even try to make a move to change shadows. He stayed there, as if he no longer thought of the two as a threat.

Dustin overheard Twilight when he said for Dustin and Tyson to step up our game. "Step up our game huh..." That made Dustin start to chuckle a little bit.

Dustin then gets in a stance. "Guess what. You got your request." A fire ring appears around him and fire starts shooting upwards, and when it started to settle, Dustin's hands, feet, and the blade of his sword was now on fire as he's now using his fire abilities.

Fire... of course! That must be Twilight's weakness. It makes sense anyways. But he couldn't be so sure. Although he leaned towards that conclusion, he'd have to see HOW weak Twilight to be towards fire.

"Keep that fire burning, Dustin. It's gotta be his weakness!"

The shadow seemed to retreat at the glow of light, but only slightly. He willed himself to stay in the shadowy form that he took- not wanting to appear weak but mostly because he could unless the fire burned brighter. It was easy to see that he wasn't exactly comfortable with the light coming from the fire. 

"Oh boy. Fire." He said, his tone heavy with sarcasm. "What're you gonna do with that when I'm down here, fox boy?"

Dustin overheard what Twilight said. "....don't like the light coming from the fire, huh. How about instead of hiding....come out and fight." He said to Twilight.

Dustin then gets in a stance, having the fire grow more brightly than before. He knew that if Twilight was not used to the light, Dustin would get the upper hand and used that weakness against Twilight.

The ice that had covered part of the shadow then melted from the burning fire, now exposing Twilight to the heat even more. At this point, Tyson didn't really know what else he could do. Dustin had control over fire, lucky him, but Tyson didn't want to back down from this fight. After all, he did start it himself.

Then again, his control over ice didn't do as much as he wished it would have done to damage Twilight. Maybe because of the drop in temperature it might have helped him... if that were to be the case, he'd have to stick with his khopesh. Tightening his grip on their hilts, he cautiously moved over a bit closer to protect Dustin, just in case things went wrong.

Now the Shadow moved to cover their eyes, then jumped from Dustin's shadow to another shadow and ultimately rose up out of the ground and into the sky. "Son of a-" He glared at the both of them. "Oh how smart you must feel." Anger coursing through his veins, the dark aura around him seemed to grow even stronger despite the presence of light- and with it, the emblem on his neck also seemed to emanate a large amount of darkness that seemed to be stopping the light from Dustin's fire from further weakening him.

Dustin noticed and the fire was work. He knew that the fight was about to start again, but due with the heat being high, he also knows that he need to help Tyson, so Tyson can create more of his ice energy without me wasting it. Dustin looks at Twilight with sword in hands. "You want a fight? Well, I'm ready when you are." Dustin then gets in a stance as fire begins to appear on his blade.

Tyson soon realized that he could use his own anger to his advantage as well. He stopped moving as soon as the dark aura, now moving away from it. "Dustin, you need to stay away from that aura." Maybe there was a way to tire him out of this form. Either that, or they had to restrain him from unleashing a powerful attack, possibly wide raged, Tyson guessed.

Dustin had kept the fire up for a good while, giving Tyson the chance to regain some energy for perma-ice, but the most he could do was one volley of mini-comets, and that would knock him out completely. He didn't want to take that risk yet. He'd have to rely on just regular ice for now.

Dustin's had experience with this, Tyson guessed. He showed no fear, and as far as he knows, Dustin's entered many sparring competitions. Won most of them he thinks. Tyson spent most of his time practicing by himself, more or less with animated snow golems and such. He didn't like the idea, but he'd have to let Dustin main this fight for a while, at least until he got a little bit more energy left.

The dark aura formed itself into blades all around Twilight, regenerating real quickly as he uses some of it up. The blades spun around him for a little bit before shooting off of him on all sides and coming back in, homing in on Dustin. Of course they wouldn't follow him around, but they homed in on his current location- so if he didn't move then the blades would hit him. 

He formed condensed balls of darkness that also floated around him- and soon the aura enveloped his wings and flared out as giant bat wings made of dark aura. It made him appear bigger than he really was, which probably looked kind of terrifying. A blackness started to envelope his eyes, leaving only his red eyes behind. Something seemed to be... wrong with him now?

Dustin looks at his surroundings, noticing the blades heading towards the location I'm standing. I guess my battle between Twilight has only begun. "This just got started, but I should let Tyson have a chance at Twilight once I need to charge up some fire energy" he thought to himself.

Dustin then dashed off the position, fire on his blade, hands, and feet still. Not sure where Twilight is thought, but he had a feeling Twilight would be right in front of Dustin. He looked around for Twilight. Once he saw Twilight in his sight, he fired a fire slash wave to start it.

As soon as Twilight had risen up from the ground, now in this... altered form, and Dustin had seen him, and proceeded to attack, Tyson just knew this wasn't going to be good. The blades had nearly reached Dustin's position, though it was a good thing he moved just in time. Tyson leaped in and countered some of those blades with his own dual frost khopesh, just to be safe. 'Try the wings' he thought to himself. 'Maybe that will knock him down?'

Tyson stepped a good two feet back from Dustin, being that Tyson thought Dustin was a little too close to Twilight, especially in this range. Tyson pointed the tip of his dual frost khopesh at the giant dark bat wings, as glowing streams of cold ice shot through the blades, hopefully piecing through the wings. 'I only have enough perma-ice to make a small one-sided barricade for Dustin and I' he thought. More or less, Tyson was surprised by Twilight's new look, but he tried his best to conceal it, so that Twilight couldn't use any fear to his advantage.

"D i s a p p e a r!" Twilight muttered, his seemingly new found form making his voice echo in a terrifyingly demon-esque tone. He raised a hand, generating a massive amount of dark energy that seemed to consume the streams- but if they looked closely they could notice him shiver slightly as he seemed to take in the energy that swallowed the ice. 

Wrapping his wings around himself he descended towards the ground- letting Dustin's fire slash fly over his head- quickly opening them back up again to slow his descent. After descending, dark claws reformed over his hands- creating very sharp, large claws around his own hands. He then stepped off and charged at Dustin at incredible speed, bringing one of his hands back and slashing it forward- as it slashed it created dark energy a bit in front of it that also slashed downward. Emitting that extra energy looked pretty dangerous.

Dustin jumped to the left, but however, his back was caught in Deux's claws. "AAGGHH!!" he yelled as the pain went through his back. It was painful for him, but he knew he can't stop fighting.

As Dustin gets up, he surrounded himself with fire again, but this time, it was more blue than before. He looked around at his blue fire aura, not sure how it happened at first, but then shrugged. He then charges at Twilight and luckily gets behind him and slashes.

Well this is something Tyson hadn't expected. He was too far away even after he had started sprinted, and didn't save Dustin in time. But what he did manage to do was to throw a crude copy of one of his khopesh, aiming for Twilight's chest. Hoping it would distract him, he then leaped over Twilight, spinning horizontally so that his blades would slash at Twilight as Tyson had spun over him. He could already tell things wouldn't go well, but it should save Dustin some time to get away.

With everything happening at once Twilight let himself get hit by Dustin's attack- the thick dark energy that surrounded him seemed to cover up the wound immediately though no blood poured from it- it looked more like oil. It was thick and jet black in color and probably wasn't safe to touch. 

He slipped under Tyson's khopesh copy and in the process dodged his overhead attack, straightening himself out as he stood in front of both Tyson and Dustin. He held his hands out and let out a burst of darkness so that he may hit both of them if he got lucky- but Tyson was still in the air and probably moving forward by the time he got to do this. Either way, it was worth a shot.
