Tyson VS Twilight

Tyson had even less time to react, being that he was now closer to Twilight, and unfortunately had been attacked first. Receiving the blow to the back, he flipped forwards and landed on his back. He swore he heard something crack in his chest area but found out that now wasn't the time to worry about that- Dustin may have already gotten hit. He looked up, and now with that thought planted in his head, his hands balled up into fists, and a snake-like trail of ice had swiftly made it's way across the ground from the heels of Tyson's feet, and hopefully under Twilight, where the jagged line of ice would rise up quickly into two sharp icicles, aiming for Twilight's feet.

Twilight flipped back on his feet and away from the icicle spikes, jumping into the air so that they wouldn't be able to get him from the ground like that again. Once he was flying, he kept his distance by shooting a few condensed balls of darkness at them to see how they would react to it. As much as he wanted to continue the fight up close and personal, it would be a challenge with the two of them still trying to get at him. He just decided to try and toy with them now, perhaps they would give up somewhere in between.

Twilight directed his gaze to Tyson as the darkness swirling around him got thicker. The anger the fox was experiencing only made him stronger. While his left arm was still out of commission, a high boost in power like that would be more than beneficial to him if he continues to fight any longer. For Tyson and Dustin, however, it might be a problem.

Dustin landed on his feet after he was kicked in the air and luckily near Tyson. He had an idea going through his head as he looked at Tyson.

"Tyson...I think getting angry isn't going to help. You need to calm down and stay focused." he said.

He then hops to the side, just in case Tyson was going to go for an attack on Twilight. He gets in a stance, thinking on how he's going to fight without using a lot of fire to give Twilight an advantage.

Dustin was right, and Tyson knew that. Though easier said than done, he took three seconds to at least loose some of the anger that he didn't realize he had before. One deep breath. Inhale, exhale. Tyson's mind became clearer, and some if not all of the anger had just vanished. He was more focused.

Focused just in time to realize the balls of darkness headed towards him. But instead of moving backwards, he ran forwards, sliding under the first ball of darkness. Getting back on his feet, and with no time to worry about Dustin, he then skidded until he was a few feet from the first two icicles. Tyson turned his body to the left, and kicked one of the icicles clean off of it's thin foundation, the tip now hurtling towards the right of Twilight's body.

Twilight began to move out of the way, the icicle barely managing to hit his right side. It slightly tore through his coat, cutting through his skin and leaking more of that black oily substance out before Twilight managed to cover it up with dark energy to prevent that. 

Seeing as how Tyson was more focused on the battle, it would be hard to get an easy hit on him. Twilight quickly flew over towards Dustin until he was above him, sending two dark blades his way. He figured he would take advantage of the thinking that Dustin was obviously doing. In the heat of battle, having to think about a move you make at length could be the difference between winning and losing.

Dustin looked up and dodges both, but one managed to nick his right leg, cutting the skin open, as Dustin yelped in pain. "AGH!!! I needed that leg...." he said to himself. He then looked at Twilight, saying "...you're gonna pay for that..."

Dustin now realized that his leg is now no longer used in battle because of the injury, so he called for Flame. Flame is with Blizzard far away, so Flame runs towards Dustin, but it would take a while. Dustin then looked at Tyson, depending on Tyson that he can defend Dustin until Flame arrives.

Tyson kept his focus on Twilight, and ran right after him as soon as he started moving towards Dustin. Part of him knew Dustin was going to get hit at least once, so the second time would be a time to defend. Extending his right arm out towards Twilight, deformed spheres of ice had formed in front of his palm, and were shot towards Twilight to distract him, maybe intercept one of his attacks. Four of them were shot, to be exact, and two of them aimed for Twilight's legs.

At this, Twilight summoned a line of dark blades using his renewed energy. Four dark blades lined up horizontally along his body, and he shot them out- two towards Dustin and two towards Tyson. The ones flying towards Tyson collided with two of the balls of ice, smashing against them before dissipating into nothingness. Twilight then ducked under the last two deformed chunks of ice that were flying towards him. Not even he was sure how much longer he could keep this going, especially if the two called their filthy animals to their side. 

Twilight flew out further, trying to keep a good eye on both of them. It was exceptionally difficult to do. Two enemies, potentially four enemies. He was outnumbered in every way, the only way he could match up is because they usually came at him one at a time... But when they attacked in pairs, it was harder to keep up without the use of his shadow sneaking.

Dustin noticed the two dark blades coming at him, and luckily, he still had that good non-injured leg and he used it to avoid the dark blades coming at him. He knew he may be at a disadvantage after having an injured leg.

Dustin was now thinking as Flame was running toward the three. "I hope Flame gets here soon..." he thought to himself. He then has a grip of his sword to defend himself just in case if Tyson can't block the attacks that were heading towards Dustin in time.

At that point, Tyson would have chucked one of his khopesh at the blades, but Dustin had managed to avoid it, despite how painful it must have been just for Dustin to move the injured leg. And while Dustin's husky was on his way, Tyson wasn't sure if he would have to fight alone. If that was the case, he'd have to end this quickly.

He turned his body and skidded a few feet, and once no longer in motion, three long icicles had jabbed themselves upwards in front of Tyson's feet for his use. The ones that had already been made before hand, near that trail of ice, were gone. Tyson shot one last sphere of ice at Twilight, aiming for his chest this time, thought he'd probably regret using so much after such a small prior break.

Twilight put his good hand out in front of him and caught the ball of ice headed towards his chest, cushioning the blow by layering darkness onto his palm. He threw the ice to the side and shed the layers of darkness that held the ice so that there would be no trace left on him. 

Twilight glanced over at Dustin, he had considered picking the wolf up and holding him in a place where he would be vulnerable to an attack at point blank but with one arm out of commission there was no way he would have the strength to preform such a feat. No, there would be no last resorts, not in a battle against two lowly children. Twilight gripped inward onto invisible objects, or that's what his hand movements seemed like for a moment as he focused. After a little while, chains formed from his hands and he sent them towards Tyson. 

Yes, this was a move he was taught. A move that he remembered from long ago, something that was once so precious to him but is now nothing more than a lost dream. He would make the best use of his resources however. The chains flew towards Tyson. If he let himself get caught in them, the two chains would wrap around his body and attempt to restrain his arms by pinning them against his torso.

Dustin knew that he wasn't going to last long in this battle, especially with an injured leg. After he saw Tyson's attack being stopped and tossed to the side, he made a choice on needing to fight again until Flame arrives.

He started struggling to get up as he puts his hands on the ground for support. His leg was hurting as he was getting up, so after he got to the point where he raised his hands off the ground, he then stabs his sword into the ground and gets to his feet. He's now limping, but as long he has the strength to fight, then that's all he needs until Flame arrives.

Tyson's first assumption was that the chains wouldn't just go in one set path, rather they would follow him. Good thing he had the three icicles in front of him which were just above his height, but it wasn't as dense as the large dome he had created before. The chains would most likely break though. Dustin wasn't fairing well either, but Flame had to be here any minute, any second now. Instead of a cold panic running through Tyson, determination was all he thought of. Get Dustin to safety, finish off Twilight as quickly as possible.

He took one small step slightly to the right and sheathed both of his khopesh, hoping that the chains would waver in the same direction in an effect to mislead the chains. Then, he darted around to the left in Dustin's direction, managing to yank two of the other icicles off of the ground. Hopefully one of the chains would slow down against the initial standing icicle, but if not, and the chains were just too quick, he could at least try something with the icicles in his hands.

He alternated his gaze between Dustin, Twilight and the chains, at least keeping an eye open for anything unexpected.

Being controlled by Twilight himself, the path the chains followed weren't so easily tricked. With Tyson's constant movement, one of the chains caught up to him, weaving around the icicles he had created. The chain had at least started to wrap around his wrist. 

The other made a sharp turn from it's original straight path, twisting and flying towards Tyson's other side as opposed to flying towards him head on like it was before. The second chain whipped around and attempted to wrap itself around Tyson's other wrist so that his hands would be completely pinned.

Dustin noticed and as fast as he could, he runs over even with his injured leg and he slashed the chains. He then goes to fall, but only to be picked up and set on top of Flame, who just arrived. "Flame! You came!" Dustin exclaimed. Flame happily barked, but then when Flame looked at Twilight, he growled.

Flame then goes over to Tyson while Dustin was riding on him as Flame gets Dustin to a safe spot. If the slash Dustin did earlier break the chains, then it would give Tyson enough time to get back into the fight and defeat Twilight.
