Appearance:
Most of the time, a dark hazy figure who resembles an adult hedgehog, the only physical traits on him being his crystal ring and lab coat, and perhaps, if you look hard enough, small little metal things. But you will more often then not see him as a fit, dark brown hedgehog with medium length spines with normal brown streaks, donning the same outfit along with black shoes.

Personality:
If you were to stumble across him on the streets, he'd be very quiet and tired looking, but if you were put into a team on any circumstances, he's calm, stoic, and ready to do pretty much anything. Get him talking about his inventions and you could potentially be sitting for hours if you decline his request of "Should I stop talking". He's a bit of an oddball as well, you might find him in a dumpster or landfill to look for parts, despite having an ample supply of rings to get some fresh ones, or at an arcade to look at all the children having fun, despite his own not being there.

Combat traits

Powers:

Slash is a ghost, in the sense that he isn't living, translucent, floats everywhere, and can phase through most things, he can even "possess" machinery. This is all because his "ghost body" is comprised of hundreds of thousands of nanobots, which project a ghostly body for him do do things in.

If he ever needs to fight for real however, he'd send a command to these nanobots to compress together and make a normal body, which has a 24 hour battery life before he dies, like, for real. (Although, this function automatically turns off after 12 hours for safety reasons.
This body is lightweight as a result, but is almost as strong as the real thing, allowing him to sword-fight with ease.

In either form, he is proficient in Chaos Energy manipulation, allowing him to fight with a multitude of techniques, two of which, he made himself.

Chaos Barrier: Despite his son knowing the technique as well, he was the one who made it, This technique creates a dome of chaos energy around him to protect himself, this version is quite a bit more durable, but lacks the rebound ability.
Chaos Shadow (Rainbow Hands): Despite the name, the chaos energy spills out from groups of the nanobots to create rainbow colored hands to do whatever Slash needs, he originally stole this technique from a demon he once faced.

Strengths:
- Slash's emotions never go out of control, at least, until lives or loved ones are lost.
- He's a good tactician, being able to make a surefire plan to get something done.
- His ability to possess electronics can be a game changer.
- Immortal, at least until his Chaos Energy finally runs dry.

Weaknesses:
- EMP's while they wouldn't kill him, would significantly slow him down.
- Running out of Chaos Energy means death for him, he needs periods to recharge, this also makes using his Chaos attacks a risky, but effective tactic.
- An innocent smile and child-like demeanor is a quick way to get him to like you.
- Put him in a situation where there is no access to technology and he will get very distracted.

- Clash Kopis: His son, he taught him how to fight, as well as provide him with what he needs to go through life, though he is usually too busy working to ever see him normally.
- Kane Retrac (Reh-tur-ect): The demon who is bound to his son's soul, Analyzing his fights gives him good data, despite his bad history with demons 
- Carter Enak: The angel who is bound to his son's soul, He helps Slash often when it comes to his artifact replication
- Metal Slash: The robot made by Slash, his trusty robot that gets things done, often used as a body.

History

Slash grew up as a child genius, building his first invention at the age of 9, this was a replication of the Crystal Ring, an item that originally was invented to aid in usage of the Light Dash Attack, now enabling its wearers to use the technique in the first place.

The next invention he made was a projector that was able to read dreams, this was his first invention to aid in society, however, he never had the means to mass-produce it. Afterwards, he built the nanobots that he uses today, though they were initially just supposed to be "Cells" for his lab, distributing energy and resources.

His fourth and fifth inventions was a heavy-duty version of the Chaos Drive, called the C.D.E. (Chaos Drive Emerald) This allowed Chaos Drives to reach a extremely high energy output compared to its components, this powers most of his stuff, including Metal Slash, his fifth invention who was meant to be a combat robot.

After one fateful day, a train crash which killed his father, and seperated him from his mother, he wandered for days until he found a small town known as Reborn Phoenix, he lived there for many years, and is where his main lab is located.
In RP, he became the town hero, solving the problem with the nearby military base.

Only a couple years after, he met a young girl named Maria Sue, who asked to stay with him, he agreed and they had fun together for a good week, until she suddenly disappeared. He found her at the same military base, along with a large supply of CDEs, this whole time, it was actually a demon who stole the girl's body and asked to stay with Slash to gain information on how to find a great power source.
After a long battle, Slash managed to defeat the demon, but during the fight, he noticed the soul of the little girl was still within him, and decided to spare him to not harm the soul, the demon, despite getting away, released all of the souls he had taken through the years, and he vowed revenge, despite never seeing him again.

In the span of a decade later, he noticed that the fight severely damaged him, and worked on a project to keep him alive, this consisted of two options, using the nanobots to project a ghost body for him, or conducting a ritual to make him a new body. Obviously, the latter failed, but had a strange side effect: His body was taken away, and used to make the new body, which ended up being a baby Clash, who he ended up abandoning, once he managed to keep him in a livable state.

Nowadays, he works on his greatest project yet, currently known as: SX6. This robot would not only replicate a Mobian in every way, even aging and learning like one, but also be able to copy any power that it comes across. Of course, such a thing seems impossible, but he knows that one day, the stars will align and fulfill his dream.
