Hauntings (Halloween 2018) Empty Hauntings (Halloween 2018)

Post by The Red Blur Mon Oct 08, 2018 9:54 pm

It was a dark and stormy Halloween night. Rain hammered down at a surprising rate, utterly soaking the unfortunate souls walking through the street without an umbrella. One such person was a red hedgehog, dressed in a fashionable suit, and a cape, with sharp fake fangs in his mouth, and red contacts on his eyes. A vampire... Or is it a vamphog?

He seemed mostly unaffected by the rain, as he held a large umbrella over him, and he was looking down at a letter he had received days earlier. It contained details of a Halloween party, taking place at the address he stood outside of: a large mansion, that seemed to be well-worn from the outside, albeit old, thanks to the slightly faded colour of the brick, and the ivy extending up one side of the building.

He shook his head, putting the paper away, before walking up the stone path, his breath turning white before him. Finally, he reached the door, and went to reach for the elaborate knocker on the front. However, the door creaked open slowly, beckoning him to enter.

"Hmm..." He said to himself, looking upon the door distrustfully.

Hauntings (Halloween 2018) Empty Re: Hauntings (Halloween 2018)

It had been a few days since meeting Leona and the odd changes done to her body as a result.
The chubby kitten stared up at the mansion as her fur got drenched. This felt like a bad idea, especially since for the party she didn't have any costume ready, depressingly, so she had to wear her nice dress, now soaked. And she had just lost her vampire powers too... it felt good to be normal after the run-in with Leona, but come on...
Such bad timing.

She stepped forward, and noticed a red hedgehog in vampire garb. Now she felt really weird for not having a costume... ugh, this was gonna suck.
The door cracked open as she continued walking up to the door.
"Hey, Red... I think? Long time no see."

A feline clad in black sprinted on all fours through the rain pelting it relentlessly until coming to a stop in front of the mansion. She stood on two legs, seeming irritated by the rain pouring... Even though she was wearing eye patch attached to a mask depicting a mouth. She wore a white wig, a black hooded shirt and shorts along with a black shirt and pants that appeared to be made of spandex. The feline looked over at the mansion...

"... Are we sure this is the right place?"

Hauntings (Halloween 2018) Empty Re: Hauntings (Halloween 2018)

While rain was the fox's favourite weather, the downpour had continued throughout the entirety of the day, and large puddles had begun to form across the surface of the road. During the day, the clouds would have been a colour similar to that of the Fox's fur, but at this time of night, it did nothing but to hide the light of the moon from the world.

His foot plunged into one of ice cold puddles condensing on the pitch black asphalt, having been completely hidden due to the lack of light. A few of the stray splashes landed upon his costume.

The Fox's Costume was a full covering Werewolf suit, chosen by his housemate with a sense of cruel humour. The water that had managed to get onto the long fur was nothing in comparison the the endless downpour, but it had managed to soak deep into the thick material.

He was grateful for the addition of an Umbrella, but he still found various parts of the suit to be rather damp and cling to his body.

Halloween was not the fox's favourite holiday, but a party would certainly be much better than a night in the lab, especially with the problems he'd been having with his latest experiment.

Luckily, the walk would not have gone on too long, and the address for the get together was just a few more houses up the street. He could see it, a large mansion amongst the standard buildings that stood out like a sore thumb. There were others gathering at the door and they all seemed to know each other in some way.

He looked down at the invite, still clutched in the clawed hand of his costume. Perhaps he'd received the Invite by accident, but as he began walking along the main path to the front door, where the others were, he decided to roll with it.

"Hey. Here for the Party?"
