Lots of Water

Enjel relaxed, sighing with relief as he soon after readjusted his gloves as to not accidentally hurt someone, "Be glad to know that I'm willing to pay if you have something of my interest you're selling, but to be honest I didn't know you were a salesperson apparently. I heard there was something in the area of anomalous properties, and in a rush I came here with little knowledge of it. Would you happen to know of any strange artifacts in or around the city?"

The personage laughed.


"A Salesperson? I guess you could say that, I sell Information. You want to know about  strange artefacts around the city, depends on what artefacts you are talking about."

They took another step forward, nearing the group.

"As for you Darken..."

The Figure threw a case at the fox, not even mentioning what was inside, and completely without warning. In Reply Darken threw a stack of cash back.

The exchange was quick, and Enjel asked nothing. "I see. Guess that's the problem then... I do have a thought. Would you know anything about artifacts connected to 'Flow'? Stones connected to it, maybe a flower...?", Enjel shortly after began grabbing rings, given he had to pay for his info. "If not, then I guess I came here for nothing - a waste of time. Flow is effectively like... Time energy, for reference. While I'm not certain it's what the person who told me to come here was referring to, I have had an interest in it for a while. Maybe a strange pocket watch?"

The Character stopped moving again, this time for a different reason, Enjel had asked quite a different question than he had expected. Flow... Darken was not familiar with the word, but was sure that the informant had at least heard something about it, even just a whisper.

"Flow... Yeah, I think I know something about some Flow items. But my info about that sort of stuff doesn't come from me." 

The figure stopped, waiting to explain more, but also waiting for the currency exchange. Not specifying any price, they were waiting to see how much Dr. Hirsch valued the information.

"Ah, well then who does it come from, then?", he smiled, grabbing his wallet from a pocket and grabbing enough of the small, golden tori - enough to fill his hand, cover his middle finger, or if they were the size of a bracelet, more cover the extent of his arm. Point is there were a lot of rings he was willing to hand over(a number I can't quite share because literally there's no way I can comfortably estimate the worth of a ring on Mobois).

(Same, I have no idea what a ring is worth) 

The Character began chuckling again, causing Darken to fidget nervously. "I cannot tell you where my information come from, until you pay."

Darken threw a glance at Enjel, wondering what the decision was going to be, but assured that it was going to involve a transaction due to the rings in his hand

"I expected as much, don't worry, here you go.", Enjel remained calm though he didn't appreciate the other person's tone, dangling the rings from his fingers over to the info. salesperson.

The Mercenary of knowledge accepted the rings, and in return slipped a note into Enjel's hand. The note contained the location of the supposed person who had the knowledge of the 'flow artefact'. It seemed that the info broker did not want to have to stay around any longer than they needed to, and quickly and wordlessly scampered away.

"Well, he's certainly something." 

Darken finally broke his long silence, relieved that the shady character was now gone.

"Hm... Yeah.", Enjel chuckled, turning to look at the note in curiosity.
"Is yours personal?", he asked as he read over the night.

The fox looked briefly at the case, while the information was not inteded for him, he could at least say that it was personal.

"Yeah, it is a little bit... What does your note say?"

(It is at this moment you realize I had no real plan and was just hoping I wouldn't have to answer that question in character. We could just end it soon with my character being like "it's alright don't worry about it" and leaving to find the person alone or I could BS an NPC. ^^; )

Enjel heard it in the other man's tone and considered his options, staring at the paper intensely... 
"It was nice to meet you, Darken, and I hope we cross paths again, but I think we each have our own business to attend to now. Thank you for your company.", Enjel spoke, not trying to sound rude and even keeping his general pleasant tone but feeling guilty for pretty much just ditching him like that. Enjel seemed to recognize the name on the paper and didn't feel like sharing it, and even could be said to have been bothered by Darken's unwillingness to share.
Enjel turned to Darken with a kind smile, looking up at the fox as he folded up the paper and put it away in a pocket, before extending his hand to shake the fox's.

Darken warmly accepted the handshake, and nodded a courteous smile. It had been a great meeting, and it seemed that Enjel was quite an eloquent person to speak with. The fox also hoped that their paths would cross sometime in the future.

"Until next time, then?"

After their handshake, Enjel began to turn around, ready to leave, "Yes. See you later, Darken."
The short, chubby jackalope then turned, walking off in a seemingly random direction, before activating his extreme gear finally and skating off to his destination...
