Appearance:

Rex stands roughly 5'7 and has a standard build although fairly broad shoulders and a athletic some what look, having lightish blue eyes joined by light brown hair with blonde tips, generally seen wearing his mech pilot jump suit with Neuro helmet looking in the typical fashion of a fighter pilot helmet plus oxygen supply system, out side of combat duties he can be seen wearing usually black or grey clothing together with his combat boots.

Personality:

Rex is quiet fellow too most who view him, not the bragging kind or huge ego type, Rex is very modest and tends too not look at himself as any thing more then just a guy trying too do his job, having a strong believe in up holding the law as well as protecting and defending has lead him a few times too totally disregard his own safety in the face of severe danger which has resulting in his mech sustaining heavy damage and not gaining too much favor with his commanding officers as repairing such a machine is expensive. 

Other then his tenacious fighting spirit Rex is a kind hearten being who will try too do his best too help others given that if he trusts them enough too do so, a giver and not a taker Rex will offer the help and not expect any thing in return, for he believes his sense of duty is reward enough. 

Apart from that Rex enjoys quiet down time, either looking over data about technology or interacting with his ground crew about small tweaks or retro fits that can be made too his mech, while not oppose too making new friends, Rex his trust issues, even with in the military it self. He will approach new comers with caution till he feels he can interact normally around them, once some one has friended Rex, they will have a ally too the end.

Rex's is most dangerous piloting his mech, as it can bring to bear a vast amount of destructive capability onto those who stand against him, outside of his mech Rex is still a viable combat personal, having been trained in ranged and limited hand too hand fighting, although not too the same regard as a soldier.

While not a power as such Rex has the uncanny ability too almost predict where too aim his weapons for them too hit his target, a natural instinct in a sense, making his gunnery skills sharp as ever, although he still can miss his target it happens very rarely.

History

Rex was raised by his uncle Dr. Marcus Lysander, the famous doctor and lead scientist of the now defunct Horizon Reach corporation, What happen too his family us known, Rex grew up fairly isolated due too the circumstances of the work his uncle would do, mostly classified projects, meaning that Rex lacked any real social interaction until much later on in his life, having been moved from area too area based on where Lysander was needed for his work Rex had seen a fair bit of the world and had enjoyed seeing new places, something that would stick with him for the rest of his days. 

Attending school at a early age Rex became good at sports requiring accuracy, a natural ability in a sense too have a almost perfect aim for throwing objects or even something as shooting. This however was his only real talent and lacked many other things, unable too go too college due to his low grades, Rex enlisted into the G.U.N defense force. Passing his basics like most in the class Rex soon had too choose his future path in the ranks of the military as his career choice.

After witnessing the size and power of G.U.N mechanized divisions and the vast array of bipedal mechs they had Rex enlisted into the G.U.N Mech corp. A tough start at first Rex struggled too grasp most of the system of the machines, barely passing the small weight brackets until upon reaching the largest mech class that G.U.N could offer, the assault division. Here were the largest and most powerful mechs G.U.N could deploy onto the field. This division seemed too be the area where Rex excelled at, passing pilot checks and gunnery targeting with flying colors. It was then noted that Rex was diverted too the specialist mech division, here he would train solo with this large mechs until graduating from the mech academy 4 years later. 

After completing his training Rex was issued with a VTR-10K Victor assault class mech. One of the most powerful mechs currently in service with the military. Rex became so attached to the machine he would even refuse other ground teams from tampering with it, only trusting the team his graduated from the academy too perform maintenance. For better or for worse this mech became his new friend and home for the future ahead. Having experienced direct combat with Empire forces it has taught him valuable skills he would later use.

At present day Rex still pilots his Victor with great skill and co-ordination, carrying out assigned orders for G.U.N officers with in his regiment. His goal and drive is too use the machine too strike down terror and evil that wishes too fall upon the world by meeting it with force and firepower at his direct command. 
Where ever he is needed Rex will drop all he has too stand and fight too protect the world he swore too defend the day he signed up with the G.U.N military.  

Mech:

VTR-10K Victor assault class mech

Overview:

The Victor is one of the largest and most powerful mechs deployed by G.U.N forces, despite it being a old design, it is a true and trusted one at best, having the ability too face enemy units with extreme power and ability too with stand massive damage onto it. The mech is humanoid shapped by design and stands about 14 meters tall giving it a imposing look. The machine weighs in about 450 tons and thus due too its size is not quick or nimble like smaller mechs, with a top speed of 70kph and a cruising speed of 45kph the machine can still reach a respectable speed for its size. 
The Victor is armored with 15 tons of endo steel duaralex titanium armor giving it the ability too whether huge amounts of incoming weapons fire and has even been noted too with stand chaos attacks too a certain degree. 

For weapons the Victor mounts an array of weapons for dealing with targets at different ranges and situations, mounted in the left arm is a pair of diverse optical sunbeam large power series lasers on its left forearm providing the bulk of its long range fire, the left torso mounts a Sudden strike missile pack that can fire 6 un guided missiles per salvo, intended for short too medium range engagement. The mechs most powerful weapon and the one dealing the knock out blow is the right armor Type 10 metal smasher Autocannon, this massive weapon takes the right forearm of the mech and can rapidly fire large shells down range, this weapon alone can cripple and destroy other mechs or large targets in some times one well placed 
shot. minor weapon alterations can be changed and swapped on by experienced technicians.  

The mech is powered by a large fusion engine allowing it too operate for large extended periods with out needed for refuel, some times even years. A sharpeye model 20 targeting system helps the pilot maintain good accuracy of all its weapons. Finally if engaged at close range the mech can use its left arm fist too deal a powerful punch too its foe.
