My weird scribbles

Sooo hi! Some of you may or may not know, but I try to do art sometimes. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. You decide. 

It took me quite a while to get to the point where I was sort of confident enough to post some drawings here on the forum. I do have [url=dionecaptor.deviantart.com]deviantART[/url] where I post more stuff. For some reason it's easier for me to post stuff on there than it is here. I don't know why, I tried to figure it out but I guess I'll never know. I do know I get very self-conscious about what I do and make, so that may be a playing factor as well. Anyways, I hope I don't burn your eyes.

I don't see why you're so uncertain about it. Your art looks good, certainly (well, subjectively, I don't like being a bitch to others even if vaguely XD) better than a lot of people's that I've seen. It can use improvement like different positions and poses and all that stuff, lets be honest, everyone's work can use improvement, though your coloring looks good. Lines are also very nice.

Anyway, it's always going to look bad to you. That's the life of an artist. But you have to keep pushing on and improving and showing the world what you can do because you really have got some talent showing here. c:

The Sonic-y art isn't even bad. Again, practice will help a ton. Anyway, best of luck in future.

I think your anthro style is v cute, Dione! x3 I like the Felicia doodle, and the fur and hair on Dione..
As for the Sonic style, I guess all I can suggest is, don't be scared to make the eyes enormous cause we all know that's the main thing
And um... to make it look better, I'd say you could try drawing those eyes first, and then joining them with a round muzzle? To add a little more depth to it, so the muzzle line doesn't look like just a random line on the head, I guess xD But other than that, like I said, I think you're doing progress, and your style really is getting cute x3

I wouldn't worry about it, Dione! Your art is just fine! If you're not confident with how your art is turning out you can always try experimenting with different styles, or keep trying to perfect your current style. Just don't give up no matter what, and never let someone discourage you from doing something you enjoy, but more importantly, don't let your own thoughts discourage you.

@Burning-Fox: I did try a few different positions and I believe I have some stuff laying around somewhere which shows that, but it's more that I still have to practice those a lot before they're even at the level I'm at with the current headshots/busts ^^;;

@Electrisa: I'll keep that in mind next time I'm trying Sonic/SEGA style again. It's just really hard for me and imo it doesn't really fit my characters anyways (Mostly bias as well because I prefer the anthro style anyways, heh,,,)
