"Whatever you do, just be careful around him," Azzar said. "That's the least I would do."

"Alright I'll be careful. " Lillith didnt look happy."Azzar worries about you more than me!" Lillith crossed her hands.

"In other news, the wizard you've angered is now at war with my master's kingdom in the Void," Azzar explained. "He's probably allying himself with my master's rival as we speak."

"WHAT?!!! A WAR STARTED OVER ME BECAUSE OF TAKING A BOOK!!!"

[Crimson Skies]

"Well, yeah," Azzar said nonchalantly. "You don't say 'you can't have this' to someone who has everything and expect him to not throw a giant tantrum."

"I don't believe this. A whole war? Insane he is!"

[Crimson Skies]

"But we're safe here," the shapeshifter said. "This is an artificial dimension, one that can't be reached via the Void. Riiight?"

Azzar wasn't sure; it was like putting a big ball through a square hole. Not impossible, but difficult. He made the motion with his sleeves saying 'not exactly.'

"Well if manages to get here he must have used several resources to get here. Which is good. I'm just worried I won't stand a chance. He's been learning and practicing magic for who knows how long and I... Can't even control what beams come out of my hands. " Lillith went next to Liela.

[Crimson Skies]

"Thing is, my master's power far surpasses his, but he refuses to use it," Azzar explained. "'With great power comes great responsiblity' loses all meaning if his idea of responsibility is watching his citizens die."

"So than I'm not going to get help. " Liela looked down. She really couldn't wrap her head around a war starting over a book. And she knew she wasn't going to be able to take out that wizard. "Stop thinking dark thoughts master. It is not a good look for you."

"He'll have to act sooner or later," Azzar continued. "So don't worry too much about it."

Liela's face didn't change that much. "Can we change the subject? Master doesn't seem to feel better talking about this." Liela looked at the Shapeshifter. "Actually I do have something else to talk about. It's about the portals. How do you summon one?"

[Crimson Skies]

"Same way you do any other portals," he said. "All you need is the right words and some fundemental understanding of magic so that you don't accidentally make a portal to Hell."

"Umm... Can you teach me??? "

[Crimson Skies]

"Sure," he said. "When you use your attacks, you project energy. To create a portal, you need to project words, the same ones that got you and your friends here. Use the book for reference. Keep trying till you get it right."

[Dogy9978]

"The book for reference?" Liela took the book out. "Which page?"

[Crimson Skies]

"Page two, I think, the one where it tells you how to get to the tavern," he said. "Sorry, I'm really not good at teaching."

"So just memorize the words and say them in your head? That's it?"

[Crimson Skies]

"Yeah and you project them the same way you use your beams," he said. "Quite simple actually."

"Alright than I'll try it." Liela went to page two. 'ok Liela you can do this......Just don't let the dark become out........ Mugs of beer, bowls of soup,cracked bones aplenty.Alone or in a group one or even twenty. Before entering a cavern, Visit our Trauma Tavern!' Liela lifted her hand.

There was a low rumble and a portal appeared right where she had aimed. "You're a natural at this," the shapeshifter said. "Give it a few months and you'll be fine with by just saying the words in your head."

" Yay I did it!!! I wonder." Liela put her hand through the portal wondering where the other side would appear

[Crimson Skies]

"Portals last for a couple of minutes," he lectured her. "And only allow whole things to come through. If you stick your hand into it and wait until it times out, your hand will be cut off and lost forever."

Liela quickly took her hand out. "Good to know. Good to know."

"Is there anything else you'd like to know?"
