"One of your friends, a void priest," Aubrey started. "Why does he keep saying that evil had consumed me?"

"I don't know what he was talking about but he didn't want me anywhere near you. Probably doesn't want me to get whatever evil you have. But I don't see any sort of dark energy in you. Azzar doesn't lie so there must be something."

[Crimson Skies]

"He who slays monster becomes one, but is there a better vampire hunter than one who is also a vampire?" he asked. "Knows them inside and out, every weakness, every nook and cranny they would hide."

"You do make good points with that. I bet Azzar just doesn't want me to turn into whatever it is you've turned into."

[Crimson Skies]

"Something the book calls a plaguebearer," he said. "Immune to each and every disease, able to use the plague as a weapon. I've never tried that, but the immunity was handy."

[Dogy9978]

"So you're able to give anyone the plague? At least you're immune to the common cold. That always gets me at this time of year."

[Crimson Skies]

Aubrey though for a while; the coughing made him nervous. "Did you cough after or before you got here?" His face was serious; he did not keep his lab safe and if this was the plague, he was to stop it before it fully manifested itself.

"I'm pretty sure I coughed after I got here. Probably nothing." 

[Crimson Skies]

"This lab is not sterile and common cold is one of the early onset symptoms," he lectured her and grabbed a clean needle with an unknown fluid inside of it. "You may have caught it."

[Dogy9978]

" I'm pretty sure it's not the plague. Plus I'm not letting you put that needle on me..." Liela said backing away. "I don't like needles." Liela kept her distance from the needle and coughed again a little harder.

He did not put the needle away. "I don't think you catching a cold whilst coming here is a coincidence. Please, let me help you."

"I'm fine!!! You don't need to do anything!!! Getting paranoid over a cough or two. It happens. I mean Lillith coughed before but nothing happened and she got touched by one of those things." Liela still keeping a good distance away.

[Crimson Skies]

He sighed and put the needle away. "Your decision," he said. "I would have given you a pill just in case, but if you're that sure you don't have it..."

"It's just a little cold. It'll pass." Liela coughed again.

"I suppose this is when you leave," he said. "Now that you know everything."

[Dogy9978]

"I guess it is. I'll make sure to tell everyone that you're not the enemy."

"I appreciate that."

[Dogy9978]

Liela waved bye to Aubrey."Hope to see you soon. Maybe we can play together and have some fun." Then Liela turned the other. She trying to remember how exactly to go back.

He created a portal for her to use. "Goodbye, Liela."

Liela gave one last smile before entering the portal.

The group was anxiously awaiting her return. "I don't care that it's only been a couple of hours, I'm heading out there to-" Apparently, Azzar was already planning to rescue her. When he saw her return, he just froze.

Awkward.

"oh hello guys I'm bac-" than she coughed. "Sorry about that. But now I am here."

[Crimson Skies]

"Did everything go alright? Did you find out more about him?" The shapeshifter noticed the cough, but didn't really give it much thought.

[Dogy9978]

"I found out tons. He isn't our enemy. He's just trying to find a cure for the plague. He has a whole lab and everything just for that purpose. *Cough* He even showed me his progress on the cure. He's such a nice guy."
