Santos the Pro Wrestler Empty Santos the Pro Wrestler

Post by The_Terror Wed Jan 27, 2016 10:00 pm

Full Name: Satoru Santiago Navarrete Alvarez Santos

Ring Name: Santos

Aliases: The Terror, The Bad Guy, The Sadist, The Prototype, and the King of the Taipei Deathmatch.

Age: 35

Date of Birth: December 23rd.

Place of Birth: Republica Dominicana

Occupation: Professional Wrestler.

Species: Wolf.

Height: 6’0

Weight: 205 lbs.

Weight Class: Light Heavyweight.

Appearance: Santos is, obviously, a wolf with strong masculine features that most consider handsome. He has brown fur, a full black beard, black slicked back hair, and black eyebrows. Santos is a lean, muscular man who enjoys wearing suits and sunglasses while out in public. During training, Santos wears a white tank top, black shorts with white stripes on the sides, and black, red, and white running shoes. During a wrestling show, Santos will wear pitch black wrestling tights with the phrase “Better than you,” which is in a white color, written in cursive, and placed on the rear area. He wears yellow wrestling boots with blue stars on the sides, black grappling gloves, black medical tape that he has wrapped around his forearms, and black elbow pads to protect himself from having his elbows smack hard against the floor. Santos has emerald colored eyes, and his skull is cracked after receiving a chair shot to the head. On his back is a tattoo of the Grim Reaper and his right arm is completely covered in tattoos consisting of multiple images such as a few skulls, a vixen in a bikini, an ancient warrior preparing for battle, a samurai, and a pair of wrestling boots.

Personality: Santos is a rich person who enjoys a life of luxury. Many consider him to be a snob, and he is. Santos believes himself to be the greatest thing that has ever happened to pro wrestling of all times. All times meaning past, present, and future. Santos is obsessed with winning the most prestigious championship belt of any show and won’t stop for anything to obtain it, even if that means he has to betray his friends. Santos takes every opportunity to gain an advantage over his opponents. Santos got into wrestling for one reason and that's to hurt people. He also has a finishing move designed to break the necks of anyone who decides to wrestle him. He often says, “I like to break the necks of my opponents because the pain either lasts for a long time or forever.” Santos is also known to have an interesting use of foreign weapons. Sometimes, Santos is so full of himself that he tries, and often fails, to pick up the more heavier opponents who are more than twice his weight. When on the losing end, Santos gets frustrated and doesn't think clearly which ends up being the biggest factor of him losing or winning a match.

Likes:

  • Hurting people.
  • Being the champion.
  • Taipei Death Matches.
  • Xtreme Wrestling Alliance (XWA)
  • Showing off.
  • Being better than everyone else.

Dislikes:

  • Losing the belt.
  • People using his own finisher against him.
  • The thought of losing a Taipei Deathmatch.
  • Being called a cheater.
  • Being attacked in his left arm.
  • Rookies.

Positive Relationships:

  • Kevin Goodman: Ever since Santos’ glorious Taipei Deathmatch, things started looking up for the soon-to-be champion. Kevin Goodman, a well-known promoter of some well-known wrestlers, capitalized on the potential of making Santos famous. At the time, the then 30 year old promoter, who I forgot to mention is a snow tiger, had a long discussion with Santos who eventually agreed to have Kevin Goodman as his manager. Together, the two made a path of destruction and Santos eventually won the Xtreme Hardcore Championship belt. Santos had a long reign before facing off against Freddy Wreckless, a crazy wrestler with even crazier moves than all of the XWA wrestlers combined. Freddy Wreckless lost by DQ, but managed to break Santos’ left arm by repeatedly ramming it against the steel post of the ring. Santos had to be taken to the back by medics, but Freddy Wreckless later continued on attacking Santos and targeted his broken left arm. After Freddy was done with his attacks, Santos was later taken to the hospital and was forced to drop the title. Kevin Goodman later commented that Freddy Wreckless is nothing more than a street punk and that Santos will one day make a sensational return to the wrestling industry. Now, five years have passed and the now 40 year old Kevin Goodman has been bragging about the return of an “original, classy, dignified wrestler that the world has forgotten about.” The only question is when and where will Santos show up.

Negative Relationships:

  • Beautiful Destruction (from the words of Kevin Goodman): Santos, arguably the greatest wrestler of all the times, has decided not to waste his time commenting about a group of mentally incapable people with a thing for sloppily putting on clown makeup and parading around like little children on Halloween. So I, Kevin Goodman, will divulge information on why this group of freaks will soon succumb to Santos’ wrath. You see, the Beautiful Destruction group, for whatever reason in their ill minds, decided to attack Santos despite his not being in the wrestling industry for a while. They reportedly ambushed my client and personal friend, Santos, and bit off a good chunk of skin from his forehead. Santos had to be taken to the hospital. This was nothing more than an attack made by juiced up druggies who had nothing better to do than beat up a man who is way better than them. (I’ll create a bio about them later on in the future).
  • Everyone else: Santos’ personality doesn't exactly garner him positive attention. He only wants one thing and will betray, hurt, and severely injure anyone to take what is rightfully his.

Strengths:

  • Santos’ XWA days has warped his mind into having a creative, sadistic use for any kind of weapon he grabs a hold of.
  • Santos’ unique wrestling style of high flying moves, kicks, and submission moves can wear down his opponents.
  • Santos has two finishers. The first is where he lifts his opponent up for what they think is a vertical suplex, but he then transitions this into a piledriver. In fact, he likes to call it a suplex piledriver. This move is his most dangerous in his arsenal of attacks since his suplex piledriver has been known to be the career-ending move for several unfortunate wrestlers who went up against Santos.
  • Santos’ second finisher is where he grabs his opponent and spins them around for what they think is a neckbreaker, only to let go, turn around, and deliver a brutal forearm to the back of his opponent’s neck.
  • If things aren’t going Santos’ way, he’ll start to become frustrated and start to think of crazy ways to eliminate his opponent. This can be a good thing and a bad thing for Santos.
  • Santos’ manager, Kevin Goodman, will get involved if present by helping Santos out through various means.
  • Santos is experienced in the Taipei Deathmatch and has never lost a single Taipei Deathmatch, earning him the nickname: King of the Taipei Deathmatch.
  • There is no low that Santos won’t stoop to in other to win a championship belt. He is ruthless and will stop at nothing to obtain a belt.

Weaknesses:

  • Santos doesn’t take his opponents seriously and will often mock and ridicule them. He’ll also treat his opponents as if they are a trivial threat.
  • Santos will become frustrated when things aren’t going his way and will often have a clouded judgement about things. He will perform risky maneuvers and will sometimes accidentally take himself out of a match.
  • Santos is so full of himself that he’ll try to lift opponents who are more than twice his weight. Even when it’s obvious to others that Santos won’t be able to lift the heavier guys, Santos still feels that he has to lift his heavier opponents and slam them down to prove a point that he’s the strongest around.
  • Santos has a problem against Beautiful Destruction ever since they ambushed him some time ago. They constantly dog Santos at every turn he’s at.
  • Once caught by much larger opponents, Santos will have a difficult time trying to fight back against them.
  • Santos weakest spot is his left arm which was previously broken in a match between him and Freddy Wreckless. Damaging the left arm will take out power in his strikes and could force him to end a match pretty quickly.
  • Santos’ personality doesn’t exactly garner him the best of friends. He has a tendency to make a lot of enemies.

Background: Hailing from Republica Dominicana, Santos immigrated to a new country in search for his dream job, becoming a professional wrestler. At the young age of sixteen, Santos trained long and hard for the opportunity for his first match. Within a year, Santos got the chance to wrestle under the name El Perro Loco for the XWA and wore a mask to protect his identity. Unfortunately, Santos lost a lot of times to much better wrestlers who had way more years of experience. It wasn’t until he was twenty-one that Santos finally snapped and attacked a well-known wrestler named Dane Jur Us. Santos later explained that he was tired of constantly losing and wanted to change that. He knew that he had to be ruthless in order to succeed in the XWA, and that was what Santos was from that point on. He had an amazing rivalry with Dane Jur Us, but ultimately lost in a mask vs. hair match. Embarrassed, Santos viciously attacked his rival before delivering a brutal suplex piledriver which broke Dane Jur Us’ neck. This moment marked the beginning of a dangerous wrestler in the making. It wasn’t until Santos was 25 that he had a glorious Taipei Deathmatch that set him down a path of glory. With the help of Kevin Goodman, Santos decimated the competition for five straight years. At age 30, however, Santos had to go up against Freddy Wreckless for the Xtreme Hardcore Championship belt. The winner of the match was Freddy Wreckless who took things to an extreme measure and broke Santos left arm. Santos was forced to be on the disabled list, but eventually ended up leaving XWA. After five years, Kevin Goodman has been teasing the return of Santos. The only question that lingers in the air is when and where will Santos appear.
