A summary of many people and places.
IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER!
Many of the things within this topic are still being updated and added too. This will be an ongoing collection, growing with every new addition I come forth with. In many cases, there is next to noway many characters would have knowledge of these things, let alone access to them. These ideas are NOT to be used by anyone else, without my prior consent. For example, do not go giving your characters parts of The Mantle, or claiming your character is an important member within The Citadel. Indeed, many of these ideas are not just part of the universe involving Mobius, but are set to be part of a fictional series I am working on elsewhere.
Thank you for your consideration.

This first post will be focusing mainly on two of the key factions in my universe, The Citadel and The hoards of the 26. Information about other people, locations and factions will be put in later posts. Any updated information about these groups will be put straight into their perspective post, but a new post will be added, informing people of said updates.

The Citadel
- Spoiler:
Sworn protectors of the universe, The Citadel corperation is just as corrupted as any other buisness. A beautiful dream of peace and safety for all, built upon the nightmare of slavery, experiments and pain.
- Statement from [ex] Scientist Andile.
The Citadel is a large corperation, spannning across a multitude of worlds. Starting off originaly as a group of mercs, dedicated to protecting the weak and insecure, the realisation that their presence was needed constantly sparked the engines of one of the largest movements in history.
Ranging from Scientific innovation, to building homes for the people, The Citadel is a beacon of hope for many people. Working towards the betterment of many worlds and species, the Citadel is tireless in it's persuit for improvement. Many simple cultures have expanded exponentially under their watchful gaze, igniting [for awhile] the prospect of a peaceful galaxy, free of illness or war.
Sadly, this peace does not come cheaply. Multiple armies, equipped with technology far beyond any of the races they've helped grow, The Citadel has recently been portrayed as no better than any dictator. Disturbing reports from workers have revealed the uncaring attitudes of it's workers, ranging from experimentation on sentient life, to the careless destruction of rebelious worlds. Indeed, many worlds that are under The Citadels gaze now find themselves restless, as news of neighbouring worlds dying in the flames of a onesided war finally reach them. To The Citadel, these acts are deemed as necessary. Holding peace and safety of billions, at the cost of a lesser few, seems like a natural trade to be made. Who cares if one or two people dies in experiments, if the resultant cure saves entire worlds?
Run by cold, ruthless individuals, The Citadels reach continues to grow. It's grip on Mobius is slim, held only by a single facility located somewhere in the wilds. Its soldiers have been enlisted many times, to help protect small villages that tend to fall past the gaze of many other defence forces. More than once, the offer to help with larger problems has been given, but ultimately turned down.
Regardless, The Citadel patiently awaits the day it can spring into action, and turn it's weak grasp into an iron grip.
The Twenty-Six, and the Crack
- Spoiler:
Billions upon billion upon billions of years ago, the universe was formed in one way or another. No religion ever seems quite able to agree upon it's means, or why, but nearly all agree it formed from something.
Billions of years afterwards, The Twenty-Six broke through the thin fabric of the universe, tumbling out of their own dimension. This forceful entry formed a painful tear in the universe, subjecting it to the writhing grasp of a new dimension. Dubbed 'The Crack' by these 26, alien beings, it was a passage way to the dying realm they came from. Many dark beasts ripped their way into the universe, screaming with rage and anger. They fell upon the universe like a tide of black ink, devouring all that stood in their way.
The 26, who's names would later on form the basis of several alphabets, claimed themselves to be gods. Powered by the twisted energy of The Crack, they found themselves capable of nearly anything. Adopted as gods by many of the lesser races they stumbled across in those early days, Aey [the assumed leader of the 26 homeless beings], proclaimed that they should use their endless power to help govern the universe, and protect it from the horrors they'd unleashed upon it through The Crack.
It took many years, but eventually the 26 turned back the tides, forcing the writhing darkness back to where they had come from. Then, using nearly all their power, the beings warped reality. Incapable of closing the crack, they chose to wrap it within it's own power. This formed what they would later call 'The Crucible', a star of endless power that burned brightly in the darkest parts of the universe.
Having contained the source of their own powers, what little remained in the universe was unable to sustain them all. Slowly, The twenty-six began to fade and die out. It was a being known as Ehm, who noticed that with each death, the longer the others lived. Realising the only way to continue his own existance was to eradict the others, many beings would hesitate.. but not Ehm. Fearing the endless dark, he worked tirelessly to destroy his siblings. Ultimately, they discovered his acts too late, and soon all that was left was Aey and Ehm. With all other consumers of the Cracks powers gone, the two were near immortal. This was not enough for Ehm however, who moved to destroy the only person who could cut him off from the source.
Nobody's entirely sure what happened in the confrontation, but it is known that Ehm failed. He limped off into the universe, fleeing the wrath of the stronger being, like a dog with it's tail between it's legs. Aey himself was never heard from again, presumed to have chosen to remain by The Crucible, watching out for any potential break throughs of the ink black tides... and naturally, after many generations, the 26 faded from the minds of the races they had met.
That, however, is beginning to change. Talk of a single tome, containing information about these 26 beings, and the universe they stemmed from, as been discovered. It has no known author, but the information within hints at a secret. A secret that could ultimately lead to the discovered of an infinite energy source, of power beyond comprehension. Ancient spells and rituals were detailed within, and with each casting the universe itself trembles slightly.
And from the darkness of his hiding place, it is rumoured an ancient being has stirred, seaking out the book. Desiring it's secrets, and the power trapped within. The power to tear a universe asunder, to bring forth unlimited power..
To open a crack, in everything people hold dear.

Re: A summary of many people and places.
Journey and Destination.
Death is something that, eventually, claims everyone. An inescapble fate that tears from you everything that you hold near and dear.
Where you go after death is often a matter of debate. Some people go straight to an afterlife, some people are reborn, others miraculously recover... and in many cases, why this occurs is clear cut. Curses, the actions of others, the actions of yourself... And in others, it seems to be purely a matter of your own beliefs.
In some cases, however, a person is given a chance. Anchored to every reality, lies the world of Journey. Nobody knows when it first came to be, and in many cases people are unaware of existance or purpose. It is rumoured to exist most strongly in the dreams of those soon to die, or are dying, and has naturally formed many nicknames. Some relate it to the crossroads, some to a tunnel of light...
But in reality, it is your life flashing before your eyes.
It is believed that Journey itself is alive, a living organism that reaches out to those who's fate is not yet set in stone, and picks those it believes are important.
The Path itself is fairly straight forward. Walking down it, a person will see their lives through the eyes of an onlooker. Every moment, regardless of how unimportant, plays itself out along this fragile path, and it ultimately ends with a brief glance into the future. Beyond this, all paths lead to a single place: Destination.
Here, a person is faced with a single being. Nobody knows their name, and nobody knows when they first arrived, but they act as a guide. They will question the walker about what they saw, about if they deserve another chance, and if they wish to return. If they do not, the guide sends the soul onwards to whatever afterlife may await them. If the guide believes they deserve a second chance, but does not believe they have learnt enough to change their life, it sends them back into the world of the living in a new vessal. Reincarnated, hoping to do better the next time around. Ultimately, if the Guide believes the soul deserves a second chance, but deems their actions irredemable, they will also send them to what ever after life awaits them.
If the soul is deserving of a second chance, but is unlikely to fix their current life, the Guide sends them back to the world of the living, within a new vessal. Whoever they were dies, and they are reincarnated with the hopes and lessons they learnt upon their journey.
Those who are deserving of a second chance, and are entirely repentant of the actions they enacted throughout their life, they are returned to their first body, at a seemingly random point after their death. Their body slowly begins to revive, and the person is sent forth to fix the mistakes they caused.
Despite there being only one Guide, Journey and Destination seem capable of hosting an unknown number of souls. It is believed at any point in time, an infinite group of souls from unknown amounts of universes walk the frail path, learning from the journey through life. Working their way forward, to the destination they have always been moving towards.

Re: A summary of many people and places.
Ignesian
The plains of Ignesian are an odd, desolate land. A living entity and a dimension rolled into one, they shift and shimmer through cracks in reality, desperately clawing for a way to break through. Composed of ever burning fire, rivers of magma and lava, and ever growing tumours of bone and flesh, they form a nightmarish plain.
In the centre of this web, lies the parasite Ifrit, whos name is the same as their lands. Nobody is quite sure where this being first came from, although the twin forms of Es and Sence has oft claimed familiarity with it, implying it too stems from The Crack. A chimera of sorts in appearance, they possess the rail thing torso of an anthropomorphic being, their head consisting of a pale, spotless rat skull, with tendrils of some unknown beast emerging from their ‘jawline’.
It is an intelligent beast, with a cold cunning and a dark wrath. Much like many of demon kind, it craves the souls of people, and domination of lands not its own. Unlike many demons, however, it is impossible for it to ever cross the boundaries between worlds. Its physical form is too large, and would rip more than just holes in the universe… so instead, it sends its mind. A psionic projection that targets individuals, and claims them as a host. It twists their bodies, granting them manipulation of fire-based abilities, as well as granting them the ability to grow and destroy limbs of their own desire.
As of late, small cult-like groups have formed on several planets, entirely dedicated to the servitude of this being. They wait patiently for their lord’s gaze to turn their way, and regret nothing in the destruction of lives, or homes. To them, there is simply no better way of life.
