Hi there, my character's name is Chandler break. It's wonderful to meet you all and if you would like to RP please feel free to PM me if im not online!

•             Description of my Role Play style

--My style of RP is very complex and will make you feel like you are truly a part of an epic story with a silent, cold soldier that has more to him than what you see on the surface. On the outside, Chandler can come across as distant, careful, and untrusting of even the friendliest faces. What I try to do as the character is to make you understand him through actions and the smaller amount of dialogue that he presents. As the RP player however, I do my best to emerse you in the story, creating vivid descriptions of scenery, actions, and extra characters. I will attempt to go to extremes of adventure to keep both myself and my RP partner(s) entertained and I also understand that there must be character development moments, as well as action segments. I am very experienced when it comes to RP'ing with a partner, and the major plot device I try to pursue when I play is to allow my partner to probe Chandler's character and his past to try to get him to open up, and trust the other player's character. Although Chandler seems to be uncaring and cold, he is a defensive tanky character that packs a wollop. If you're looking for a power character, he's definately a perfect fit.
Something specifically about my style is that I allow my partner to control as much of the action as they like, and to progress the story at their pace, although if the action gets stale, I will throw in scenarios that will spice things up a bit.

•             -RP partner styles that work well with my character and why

1.            Solder-like characters: Chandler is a dog mobian with a dreadful past full of misery, distrust, and tragedy. Only another soldier can truly understand his pain and heartache. Playing as another soldier allows Chandler to be more trusting of his partner, which in turn makes it much easier to open his character's backstory up and Chandler will likely quickly form a bond with this type of character. As long as the other soldier is talkative and full of action, the RP will be a lot of fun!
2.            Sonic-like characters: It's always fun to have some headstrong, carefree, goofy character run around and make fun of the quiet, "leave me alone" attitude character and this leads to many funny moments. Playing as a character similar to the real Sonic can be a fun fit for Chandler's RP partner, as it turns into a Sonic/Knuckles relationship which is always fun to play.
3.            Bubbly-ditsy-"Damsel in distress" character: Chandler, however hard he tries not to be, is at heart a "Knight in shining armor". He throws himself into the line of fire for his friends without a second thought. If you're looking for a romance where you try to get the quiet guy to open up, while he protects you from harm, Chandler fills this role well. The "Damsel" doesn't have to refer to a female character either. If your character is a male that just isnt strong, or gets into trouble alot and doesn't have a good way to get out (Think of Tails from the cannon sonic universe) then Chandler is a good fit for that relationship as well (Although if it is a male, there will be no romance of any kind).
4.            Third-Wheel: If you're looking for a third party member to just keep your story interesting, then look no further. With Chandler's quiet nature, it fits perfectly with an already started story that only needs a third character with minimal dialogue to progress the story. I'm a sucker for romance stories, and getting to be part of one and playing the protector is one role that Chandler excells at. With Chandler being emotionless on the outside, the duo that he joins will soon come to see that he really does care for them as friends and would do anything in his power to keep them safe.

•             -RP partner styles that will NOT work well and why

1.            Other silent characters: Chandler himself is a silent character that uses small bits of dialogue here and there unless he is specifically talking to someone about something important. Introducing him to another silent character can lead to awkward and forced interactions between the two characters that doesn't feel natural. Although this may work in some cases, it might be best to avoid this combination unless there is a third character that is being introduced that isn't silent.
2.            Other strength characters: My experience when playing with other "Power" type characters has never really led to a fun RP. The two characters will often dispute about which is stronger. The disputes may not be directly between the players themselves but the characters will always try to one-up the other with feats of strength and endurance. This causes one PLAYER to feel like their character is inferior to the other and this is never a fun experience.
3.            Invincible or Immortal characters: Chandler however powerful he is, does have his weaknesses and he has many. It isn't fun if your character can not get injured or is never in any danger of failing. Part of the fun of playing with Chandler is allowing him to be a tank, or a protector to your character. He won't steal the glory, but he will be there to have your back, and if your character is "Immortal" then his role as protector has no use and it will lead to awkward and forced moments where Chandler really doesn't have a purpose.

•             An invitation to RP

--Thank you for reading all of that and I'm extremely sorry if it bored you, however I hope that it enlightened you to my style of RP and hopefully it made you interested in using me as an RP partner in the future. Shoot me a PM if you want to RP, telling me some about your character and I'll gladly respond and we can set up an RP together! Thanks for reading and happy playing

Well, let me say hello. Smile Never a bad thing to add more people interested in role play.

Might I suggest that you not just wait for rp invitations though. Check out the rps and plotting topics, reach out to the ones that catch your attention, or even post your own ideas there and see what happens.

But have fun however you do decide to go about it. Smile
