Familiar Faces

It was the usual sunny mid day in the forest, it was peaceful animals are going their own eating be it eating, napping or playing though in a certain part of it is not that peaceful.

"This was a rather unexpected situation to be in really really unexpected" Were the words that played in Vanicia's mind as she ran away from what appeared to be a helichopter chasing her.

She was not sure what she did considering she stays in the forest or mystic ruins most of the time and doesn't remember the last time she entered a city or town but it did have a intention of destroying her because it was shooting at her, luckily not with rockets but it was quite loud thats for sure.

She could simply fly up and destroy it but she was more or less worried that it might get her some unwanted attention, even if whoever is driving it doesn't seem to be speaking at all it could just be some stupid mobians playing hero's and destroying anything that appeared to be with Robotnik, in this case robians.

She jumped from one tree branch to the next in a zig zag pattern to not get hit by bullets. She had the option to fly away since she did have thrusters at the heel of her boots  well she still calls them boots even if their basically part of her body now, but flying in open air while being persued by a armed flying vehicle seemed like a very bad idea.

(Yea i didn't really know how to start off so i just went with being persued by a helicopter being driven by gods knows who ;p).

Shadow sat on the edge of a branch, eyes shut with concentration. It had been a long while since he'd done anything of substantial value, and he felt like his skills were getting rusty. He needed to keep himself in tip top shape if he wanted to make sure he'd stay Sonic's equal, if not superior. This meant keeping up with everything, no matter how insignificant, and that included concentration. Now he was focusing on his sense of hearing, listening for any movement in the forest, and trying to guess what it was making the sound.

 One sound that suddenly surfaced to the front of his mind was the sound of a helicopter. His ears twitched as his left eye opened to a figure running away to the flying man made vehicle. Just as he thought. The black hedgehog opened both eyes and hopped to another tree to get a better look at the situation. Once he was close enough, he realized that perhaps the helicopter was right to chase off the intruder. It looked like one of Robotnik's roboticized lackeys, or worse. Maybe another robot as powerful as Metal Sonic, or even stronger than him. 

 Whatever the case, he knew that it wasn't good for this robot to fight whoever was in the helicopter. He had to get them to stop chasing it and handle the situation himself. So the hedgehog jumped in front of the helicopter, and saw the it was an agent from G.U.N. He seemed to only be following orders, but as soon as he saw Shadow, he realized that he had the situation covered, and retreated. With that out of the way, Shadow began his pursuit, which was rather simple. He wondered why the doctor tried to enhance his robots' speed when it never matched Sonic's or even Shadow's own speed. 

 And just as usual, the black hedgehog stood between the robian and the next branch. "Are you causing problems for Station Square?" he asked without expecting the robot to say anything. "Well? Are you?" If she did, then they really had a problem.

Well she was glad the helicopter isn't in persue of her now, otherwise she might have to do something that she would probably regret for a long while as she tries to avoid getting a infamous reputation and or a bounty on her head which isn't fun.

However the black and red hedgehog that was standing on the next branch in front of her was, familiar very familiar. It was Shadow, someone she has not seen for a very long time and didn't expect to see every again though the question is does she remember her?.

"Well i supposed looking like a fairly suspicious looking robot wondering the edge of town and knocking away some kid's pet chao because it wouldn't stop hugging my arm despite me telling it to stop doing that because it's annoying would warrant a helicopter being sent at me because some mobians decided to overreact to me knocking away a chao, Shadow?".
