Oh, great. Great he was stuck. More importantly, those two behind him were stuck too. He shuffled towards the door he came from, gripping the handle harshly and pulled it with all his might, but hissed in frustration when he discovered that it wasn't budging a single bit. Absolutely wonderful, "Hey, you two! Can you hear me?" he called out, banging on the wood with a terribly stern expression, "Try and get this door open!" There wasn't a sound back there in addition to this room, he couldn't even here the evil kitsune's breathing or his voice, or the jackal's footsteps to see what was happening, "I'm going to-"

The lights flickered on. Which wasn't good considering he wasn't facing the way he should. Like it was mocking him. And by the time the glass exploded and shattered across the floor with that ear-bleeding noise, he had just about seen the view of the room. By a fraction of a second. That minuscule frame of time wasn't enough for it to burn into his memory.

Vaevus took a deep breath into the darkness, pressing his back against the door which remained shut, composing himself a little. That bang that shattered the silence made his old heart go wild, and as the uncomfortable lack of sound resumed, he could hear said heartbeat in all of his organs, thudding in his ears, his hands shaking with each beat, "I'm going to go on ahead. To see what's going on here," he stated rather confidently considering his heart. You had to give him credit for that, "Head back and get help. Leave this house. I don't even know if you can hear me, but go call the officials. Something's off."

The door had to be against the wall, right? There was something in the middle of the room, and he honestly didn't want to find out what it was, not in this darkness anyway. A few more breaths and his heart had resumed to normal. The pegasus waved a hand in front of his face, but he could hardly see the palm. Best not think about it. Once again, he shuffled against the wall with his cheek pressed against it, oblivious that all he feared was a table and a chair.

Making his way around, through the unnatural blanket, he pressed against something that made him trip up and stagger - the door handle to the next room. Unexpectedly there. It felt like he'd been moving for hours. The old mobian couldn't help but hesitate as he stared at the slightest shadow within his lack of sight, a white hand against it. A single gulp of anticipation. The silence ringing in his ears, his breathing the only thing shattering it, which wasn't exactly the nicest of things.

He pressed it. Turned it. Opened the door. He expected to be greeted with further darkness.

A startled yelp. A rub against his nose and the kitsune starts trying to get the door open. When it opens after a while he enters the room, trying to see if there is anyone still there

What might surprise the pegasus was the fact that the room he opened was far from dark. Instead it was dimly lit by stars twinkling up ahead in a night sky where there should have been a cieling. And if he were to step into the room, he would soon notice a great lack of walls and the door he had just entered from, also gone. A gentle breeze like that on a calm night brushing against his fur. Yet if he took a step, creaking, he still had that hardwood floor below him.

For all that was worth it, he could go and walk about this fast open area. And yet all he would find, was the hard floor, a few rocks here and there and that vast night sky above him. The stars lighting up the world for him to see.

But as time would pass on, there would be shadows dancing about, despite him definitely being the only one in the room. Nothing but silence.

Until a soft cling filled the air. A bell, a bell attached from a copper tube. An area where there was no hardwood floor but instead heaps of dirt and multiple of those copper tubes with bells. Graves, a set of graves in the middle of this wide fast area. Each had their own half haphazardly places headstones. Names on them, his family. His mother, his father and his brother. But besides that, one read a clear 'Joana Vates' and the one next to it 'Erie Auzalim'. All these were closed up but one, one was open, 6 feet deep with a casket inside. Brilliant smooth wood with amazing decorations. But the off set out it? On it was engraved with great detail 'Vaevus Asmile'. The headstone yet to be place but a spade in the dirt ready to dump dirt into the open grave to close it off.

And on the smallest edge, there was a small '5' carved roughly into it.

----------------------------------

As odd as it was, the room was diffrent in set up for the kitsune than it had been for the pegasus. Tablet and chair were not located in the middle, but instead stood settled against the wall. No lights to turn on to cast aside the darkness for the black being. But that same silence did fill the room. On;y his own heartbeat and breathing was to break the silence.

However if he strained his eyes enough, he might spot a very soft dull light coming from behind him on  the wall the entrance door was on. If he were to inspect the light, it would come from below the door, ever so slightly reflecting it's light of a thing on the door. On the door he had just entered from, now rested a 4.

No-End House (Closed) - Page 2 Empty Re: No-End House (Closed)

Post by Spekkal Wed Jun 18, 2014 7:11 pm

Was this an illusion? To be greeted with the outside, but to still sense his rhythmic hooves against the wooden panels below the white pegasus, despite the grass at his feet, was certainly something to wonder about. He glanced upwards and stared at the sky above, viewing the stars shine in this so-called 'night sky'. But of course it was an illusion, one could not fit this into such a small interior. Though the room beforehand was slathered with darkness, enough to cause claustrophobia and a terrifyingly tight chest, and the drastic change was somewhat welcoming. Even he could only retain is calm composure for so long until the deafening silence would send him into a state of panic in the previous room. He wondered if the others heard him. Vaevus wondered if they had even gone to help.

Did they even care? Neither made any attempt to break down that door. Or speak. Even if it were soundproof, the banging still would have reached them. Did they just abandon him? It wouldn't surprise him. No, he had to give them more credit. Well, the jackal. The kitsune wasn't to be trusted.

And as he walked, and as he encountered the graves, Vaevus did not feel fear until his eyes caught sight of the golden number seated nicely atop an open grave. A few seconds later, he noticed the names.

He noticed his own.

But he felt insulted more than anything else, and his brow furrowed with the slightest hint of anger of all things as he knelt down next to the grave of his deceased brother. Impossible. He knew where the graves were - he visited them every week with flowers and tales. Vaevus took the same path through the cemetery each week, without fail, to visit them. And to see it elsewhere was insulting to him, and also made him wonder how. Did the owner of No-End know of him? Did they have something against him? Did they know he was coming? But others could have passed through here - would the names change? It made no sense. It made his head spin a little.

Now, Vaevus would be repulsed by the action he was about to do, if he were not certain that these graves were fake. And he did not consider the exit out of this room, because he needed something confirmed. The act he was about to partake in was blasphemy, was insulting and revolting and no mortally right mobian would do such a thing, but...

He began to dig at his deceased sibling's grave. The exit could wait.

''hmm...'' Walking into the room, taking a look around Cyril mutters something colorful before looking around  for an exit. After a while of looking around, and letting his eyes get used to the dark he finally notices the glowing under the door behind him along with the number four on it. Walking carefully towards it he attempts to push it open.

No-End House (Closed) - Page 2 Empty Re: No-End House (Closed)

Post by Uncanny-Illustrator Wed Jun 18, 2014 8:43 pm

The dirt under his nails was rather hard, as if it really had been pushed together to prevent it from being unearthed. But little by little the dirt loosened up. That smell of wet dirt being released into the air with each bit of dirt that the pegasus was removing. Down and down he went, dirt shifting as he kept digging. Worms and other insects squirming about as the safety of their underground tunnels was destroyed.

Dirt, nothing but dirt until the hole he created had been big enough to let his fingers scrape over the casket. A same wooded one as the one with his name on it. Beautiful little decorations along the casket here and there. It having been nailed shut halfheartedly though. The nails already rusty enough to give an easy break.

And Break easy they did as the unearthed casket was opened up, beautifull white linene lined the inside of the wooden casket. Bits of dirt rolling in and soiling the other wise pristine perfect white fabric.

A few rolled over to lightly brush against white fur. A male in his teens laid there, white fur, wings, lavender hair. A pegasus much like Veavus. His eyes shut with a expresion of that of pain on the face. The white of the fur being broken by a nasty looking rash, white bumps that were encircled in red. The shaped of the muscle underneath the skin as well as the bones ever so slightly vise-able. The skin having this odd transparent nature to it.

And thus he laid there, just as that very moment, dead as can be, unmoving and cold to the touch.

-------------------------------------------------------

The door opened easily and as the kitsune stepped inside the door closed itself behind him. Darkness for a moment. but the unnatural darkness that he could not see through from the previous room seemed to have helped to adjust his eyes in this one. It was dark and sounds were... echoy. The sound of soft water drips that hit a rocky surface were what kept it from being silent.

He was inside a cave, smooth walls with no hard edges all around his, expect the floor which was once again, that creaky hardwood that the rest of the house shared.

A soft light up ahead was the only light in the entire area, light at the end of the tunnel.

No-End House (Closed) - Page 2 Empty Re: No-End House (Closed)

What a cruel, sick joke.

The pegasus shuddered, the appearance of this Quintell doppelganger was uncanny to his elder brother who died so many years ago to a horrible disease. But it wasn't him, he was certain. The muscle would have decayed, the body would not be so fresh and the clothes would have worn away with the passing time. It was a fake, of course, and a joke attempted to sway him. For a moment, Vaevus thought they had stolen his family caskets. But he was relieved that they were still in one piece in the city's graveyard.

He took a step back, taking a deep breath to compose himself. To think rationally was a blessing in these cursed and warped times, and to keep a steady head would save anyone. He wandered to the next, the 'casket' of his departed mother, kneeled and pressed a finger against the dirt, creating a vertical line as he slid it downwards. The man thought. He thought about that empty grave. There was no way back, and the entrance was stated as clear as day. But to be possibly buried alive?

He made a little heart shape on his mother's grave.

Or was the mere concept of laying down into that little pit and accepting the reality of death enough to succeed into the next room? Perhaps he was not to be buried at all, but rather realise how mortal and minuscule we are in this universe. How would the doorway to the next room appear? There was no going back, his powers were useless after all. Was he to remain until the others found help? They must have heard him - he was right on the other side of that door!

Vaevus straightened himself out and rose from his kneeled position, offering a silent muttered prayer towards his family, before strolling calmly over to his own pit. He read the name. He examined the nice little decorations. He stared with intensity towards that shovel and pile of dirt. Grasping the shovel in his hands, the man began to fill in his own grave.

Perhaps he was not to lay in it at all.

It started softly, not much harder than the sound the dirt hitting the casket made, soft like a mosquito buzzing in your ear. But with each passing second a sound grew louder. A hum. Well more a vibrational sound almost. Each second ticking by as the sound started to overpower the sound of the pegasus filling up the grave.

Slowly but surely the intensity and volume were cracked up, drowning out any sound at all and yet still, it grew louder and louder. Causing the ground to vibrate ever so lightly in the relentless assault of that hum that didn't seem to drop tone or volume.

Increasing and increasing till ones head would be splitting in pain at this endless attack.

If anything, it seemed that the house was not happy at all with the actions that the pegasus was taking. Maybe this loud ass hum could be a good hint to that.

A few careful steps into the room the kitsune takes, only to stop when the door closes behind him. Blinking a few times as he looks around, trying to see what is in the room. Hearing the sound of water dripping and the feeling of smooth stone walls makes him realise he is in a cave. though weirdly enough, under his paws he can still feel the wood from the house creaking. He heads towards the light.

Now, Vaevus ignored it at first. Perhaps he thought it a simple bug within the walls as he had occasionally glanced about to try and find the little annoying speck. But as it rose in volume, and that he couldn't figure out the location of the source of the unusual hum, it made him hesitate. And he paused in his shoveling as it increased and increased.

He didn't know what it was, but my god did his head ache with violent intensity, enough to make him throw the shovel to the ground and grab his head, squeezing it between his fingers and yell out. It hurt, it really hurt. He couldn't hear his heartbeat or his breathing or the ground being moved or anything. Just that single note that made his ears scream out in protest. He didn't know what it was, that was the problem. It occurred as soon as he began to shovel in his own grave. But right now, he couldn't think. He couldn't hear his own thoughts.

So the man curled over and pressed his forehead against the dirt on his grave, fingers straining as he viciously pushed them against his ears to try and silence the hum which felt like it was inside him. He'd put it down. He was on his damned grave, for god sake. Was that enough for the sadistic owners of the place?

It didn't quite seem to let up, the ever so loud hum kept up. Much like it was pissed beyond believe at the pegasus. But the moment the older male. But the moment her curled and ended on top of his grave, the humming decreased as slowly as it had been building up. Little by little till nothing but the soft sound of crickets were left in the 'night' sky.

All calm and quiet as a soft breeze disturbed the lose dirt, pushing it just barely an inch or with some bigger pieces of dirt, just caused them to rock ever so lightly. A nice cooling breeze, and as the breeze settled all that was left was this chilling night time hill. Something to bring either a chill after a warm day or even more freezing cold after an already cold day.

-------------------------------------------------------

The closer he got, the brighter the light seemed to be yet it stopped at a certain brightness as he fully stepped into the light. The kitsune standing at the entrance of the case which had lead outside. Wind brushed through his fur much like he was in the open air. Elevated in a certain sense, right on top of a steep cliff. The soothing sound of water hitting rocks. And if he were to peek over the edge, he would see nothing but water as far as the eye could see, except for one small detail, a large group of sharp rocks. On a first glance, just rocks. But if one was to squint he might notice they were in a particular set up, shaping a five.

No-End House (Closed) - Page 2 Empty Re: No-End House (Closed)

Post by Spekkal Fri Aug 08, 2014 4:01 pm

Admittedly Vaevus didn't want the money anymore, but it was pretty much obvious that was concluded a long time ago. Admittedly he just wanted to go home and curl up in bed for the rest of the day and not deal with this. He was worried the others had abandoned him. They did, after all, hear him behind that wall. They must have been seeking help by now - he warned them. Shouted to them. Banging on that door and demanded they find authorities to deal with this warped household. And the pegasus had not heard a peep from them! If they had entered too, why where they not behind him? If they entered, would they see their own graves?

The old horse raised his head and blew his nose, specks of dust and dirt blown away as he examined the grave with irritation and almost... fear. That terrible, screeching hum had vanished as he pressed himself against his filled grave. Was it an indication of what to do? But he would die if he were to go there. It was stupid and impossible. Grasping the bridge of his nose, the man grabbed the spade once more and dug out his work, pushing it to the side.

Once the grave was empty, the dirt in a large clumped pile beside the hole in the ground, Vaevus lay within it. Time to start from scratch.

No-End House (Closed) - Page 2 Empty Re: No-End House (Closed)

Post by Uncanny-Illustrator Mon Aug 25, 2014 6:46 pm

This RP got turned into a 1x1 with me and Spekkal
---------------------------------------------------------------------
That moment, that very moment he laid down. The moment his body was fully in what before was such a clean grave. As he laid down inside what was the coffin ready for him it just seemed like nothing at all happened.

Just eerie silence for seconds, seconds which turned into minutes. Before a loud slam broke the silence. It had happened so fast, the lid of the coffin closing down with such force. Not a single warning given before hand, not a person, not even a breeze could have set it into motion, and mostly not to slam shut like that. With the lid on, the entire inside of the casket was nothing but darkness. Darkness and a certain silence as the lid refused to budge in the slightest if the pegasus were to try and move it.

It seemed like silence was not to return again as footsteps in the distance approached, slowly but surely. If one were to listen closely they might make a rough estimation of 2 people heading over. Not a spoken word between those that the footsteps oriented from. Each step brought the two closer and right up to the edge of the grave. Their feet knocking small bits of dirt in and onto the casket. Still not a spoken word though as who were up there just stood.

Finally one of the two figures moved above. Sounds of dirt and metal scraping past each other indicating the usage of the shovel that the white mobian had used not that long ago in attempt to fill in his own grave. A soft thunk could be heard on the lid. Soft and delicate, yet with just enough weight to make a sound. Only to be followed up on by a groan up above and the sound of dirt clattering onto the closed casket. Causing the lid to ever so slightly give a vibration.

This was soon followed by another load being tossed onto the casket, and another one, and another one. And after a bit, the sound no longer was of the dirt hitting the wood, instead it was just dirt hitting dirt, growing more distant as the grave got filled in more and more.

Nothing but that distant sound now of the dirt being shoveled on. Combined with the soft creaking of the casket's wood under the weight of all the sand on it. Small bits making their way in through small gaps or cracks, staining the previous clean white lining within.

A final drop of dirt as the shovel was jammed back into the ground to be left there till it's next use. Foot steps trailing off and away from the grave. Nothing left now but darkness and the groaning of the wood under the weight of the dirt.

Post by Spekkal Tue Aug 26, 2014 12:22 pm

No.
No no no.
No no no no NO!

Buried alive? It was a thought that crossed his mind indeed when he stared at the grave, but he didn't actually expect... he didn't expect they actually would! He didn't think they'd be so sadistic! There were people there - footsteps! They must have seen him enter! They must have known he was there! Was it the people from earlier? Were they instructed to do this? Surely they'd hear him! "What are you doing?!" he called out as loud as he could, voice quickly losing its confidence and calm demeanor as it cracked under the intensity of the situation. Vaevus losing his cool head as his heart beat in his chest, as his breathing quickened under the claustrophobic atmosphere, "I'm in here! I'm alive! GET ME OUT!"

He slammed his fists against the lid of the coffin, as hard as he could and hoping it would break into daylight and fresh air, away from this damned place. His hands shook and fingers shook as he attempted to cast his holy spells once more - "Raduim!"  Nothing. He took a shallow breath to compose himself. Time for something more complicated. He circled an index finger on his chest, drawing another on the lid of the coffin at the same time. A vertical line in the circle. Horizontal line to the side. A palm against both 'drawn' symbols. "Angeli Momento!" He expected, no, hoped to be greeted with daylight, to be elsewhere from that teleportation spell. He'd prepared it in case this house was something foul that he needed to escape and alert the authorities. If his other spells weren't working, it was worth a shot. But it didn't and he began to yell. Loudly, "GET ME OUT OF HERE!"

No-End House (Closed) - Page 2 Empty Re: No-End House (Closed)

No reply to the trapped man's callings. Nothing at all from the world above that layer of dirt keeping him entrapped. No cough, no shuffle of feet, just silence. Silence and the occasional creep from the coffin itself. And even within this darkness, it seemed light just kept dimming. Only to be left with that same unnatural darkness as room 3. Darkness, nothing but darkness and groans of the wood under the stress of weight.

And least until the pegasus fell backwards. How exactly he was able to fall backwards while having been stuck in that coffin? Well this is a house that did weirder stuff so best not question such a small detail. BUt yes he fell backwards. Into a eoom with a floor ready to meet him and break his fall rather harshly. That same hard wooden floor from before.

Had he truly passed into the next room in such an odd way? And on top of that, a room that looked just like the 3rd up till the smallest detail?
Well minus doors actually, not a single door within sight. But the chair was there, and the dangling light and....

A young girl stood amidst the dim room. Her fur as white as the light shining straight into ones eyes, not a single speck or impurity on it. Long wavy platinum blond hair adored her head as it reached till her lower back. A long flowing white dress on her body that seemed to have a small sway in it despite not a single breeze being inside the room.  Her eyes a piercing bright blue that seemed to look straight through the pegasus. Her species? A white dove mixed in with a lion. Well that was only part of the truth.

While her appearance was heavenly, the shadow that was brought into light thanks to that dangling light in the ceiling, was not. It was large, bulky and seemed to have was were remnants of horns jutting out of the side.

The small silence got broken by a voice that sounded almost like the angels themselves were singing. "Are you alright sir?" The girl asked with a small tilt of the head. Yet she did not move towards him in the slightest. Just standing there and watching.

Ow. A hard floor against his spine was not a particularly good thing for him, admittedly. His spine was always a weak thing, and as the pegasus stood shakily he winced heavily at the fire-like sensation tinting on his back. This really wasn't a good day, and the man just wanted to go home. The last room had sent his old heart into a frenzy; he could feel it throbbing within his rib cage his aching to escape, bashing against the bones. The potential of being alive was enough to shatter his usually calm and collected outside appearance, as sweat dripped from his brow and his green mane was nothing more than a partially drenched mess with the occasional fleck of dirt within. Vaevus wasn't looking so good, and it was showing. Where were those morons? They were supposed to have gone for help. Argh, he wouldn't be surprised if they had left him. He wouldn't be surprised if-

The voice shattered his thought process and instinctively he found himself whirling around on his hooves to face the girl and the shadow which loomed above. His first thought was along the lines of: 'what's a little girl doing here?' and his more logical reasoning upon seeing the lumbering hidden beast was very much 'That's no little girl'. A demon, then? Did it own this house? Hm. While he pegasus took a careful and wary step back, he was less frightened by this than of the other room. The supernatural and such was less of an issue - he saw that thing all the time. It was the norm, really. It just depended on if this one was malevolent...

"Rather alright, yes," he responded, attempting to keep his voice steady as he brushed back the dangling strands of mane in front of his eyes from the sudden motion. He planned to play it safe with this trickster, "Though admittedly I find myself quite lost. Where exactly am I?"

Same to the posting thing. Will be as normal next round.

Vaevus keeps stepping back, looking at the shadow rather than the girl. He hits the wall behind him and tries to find a door while still looking at the shadow, saying that 'that's not answering his question' and that she 'had missed a lot since she apparently lives in the house and is safe here, but he had to 'get out of the house so he could help demons who needed it'.

As his hands are a rest on the wall it's nothing but smooth. Well as smooth as a wall can get, off course there's texture to it but not only slightly. But at least one thing was sure. There was no door behind him at all. Just that solid wall against his back.

"Lets play~" The girl spoke, completely ignoring his questions and statements. Well not fully ignore them. "You are being a rude silly sir! So we will play a fitting game!" She exclaimed, jutting a finger at his chest. While the touch might have seemed lightly, it was far from it, much more like that bulky shadow creature had practically punched him there.

But in the end, it was still the girl, the girl with a shadow that was off. That presence around her only intensifying as the light dimmed down to a mere speck glowing orange from the electricity going through the small wire in the bulb. Which much like the girl's hair and dress, had started to sway slowly as pushed by the wind.

Yet there was non, if any, it seemed that the closer she got, the less oxygen and air there was. And there she remained in place, half an arm's length away. Watching him with blue eyes and a warm child smile. Like she was awaiting him to just nodd and agree to her stating they would play a game.

He winced and gasped at the touch, falling to the side and clutching at his chest. Each breath he took felt like there was an aching bruise on his ribcage. 'This monster was something which wasn't capable of understanding then', he thought to himself as a low hiss passed through his teeth, Vaevus scrambling up to get some sort of calmness upon himself. Yet he felt the air from his lungs feel like it was escaping him with each step the beast took. He couldn't survive here. He just wanted out at this point. This place was worse than hell.

"Fine, fine, we'll play a game. Whatever game you like provided I can get out of here by the end of it, and return home," he gasped, pressing himself against the next room and feeling that one. Yet he had a feeling that the or wouldn't be there. If the last door was to be buried alive, was the next door to accept this challenge? They were getting more and more vague, more complex.

No-End House (Closed) - Page 2 Empty Re: No-End House (Closed)

The glint in the girls eye shined brightly as the man agreed to her game. Her warm smile twitching into the softest of grins as she closed her eyes, folded her hands in her lap and held them. Wanting to stay happy and quiet but then she hear that last bit of sentence, causing her eyes to snap open again and stare directly into him. Oh he wasn't getting the point was he? Maybe she was to make it more clear this time round.

"But sir." She started, her voice still as heavenly as it always was before. Filled with the innocence of a child. But this time that she spoke, it was like there was a second voice, a deep voice, growling and grunting with each letter. "This IS your home!." He blow eyebrows knitted together in a deep frown as she eyed the white Pegasus. "I already told you so! You are to stay here forever to play with me." She finished, looking at the man for what he'd say next.

However she did not remain standing still, instead she approached him again, letting her hand down to offer him a way back up and onto his feet. But if it was wise for the man to take her offer was a different question considering that aura around her still ever so present. Yet she stood there, hand stretched out to him, fingers an ever so soft twitch to them as she just waited, watching him closely.

Indeed there was not a single door there, just the bumpy texture of the solid wall. Really even in the dim light one would be able to tell that there was not a single door in this room. Just sold textured walls, a hard wood floor, that table and chair in the middle of the room with the dim swaying light above it, the girl with her shadow and the man himself.

The lack of door, the darkened room with the swaying light, the unnatural shadow of the demon waiting for the intended result and the little girl host it used as a puppet. There were little options he could take. But there was an end, right? After all, that's what the reward had stated. But perhaps there was not an end. Perhaps the reward was a lie, and perhaps it was just a trap to lure people within to this distorted home.

But he couldn't stay in this room forever. It was always best to take a risk and hope it works out for the best. He was old, getting on in his years, and Vaevus had nothing else to lose. He took a deep breath.

"Alright, I'll play your game," and he grasped the girl's hand.

She practically laughed happily when the man agreed to her game. But the best she let out was a happy child giggle. Her smaller hand holding onto his to pull him onto his feet. That breath taking aura ever so present at that, and the unnatural strength the child possessed clear as day as well. Her firm grip practically crushing his hand with the force, while when looked, it seemed like she was holding his hand ever so gently. But the shadow she cast however had a very clear tight grasp with it's hand in a fist.

"Now sir the rules are very simple!" She said with her heavenly voice, piercing blue eyes having the mischievous air about them. Her smile, for once more a warped grin with a smile too wide for her face to make anatomical sense. Yet she remained there with her dress flowing on the non existent breeze.

"Rule number 1." She stated as she finally let her grip of the man's hand loosen. "If you win, you get to leave." Finally her dead cold hand let fully go of his as she took a step back. "Rule number 2." One hand on her hip and the other in the air as she held up 2 fingers. "If you lose, you stay here with me forever." A small hop in her step as she backed away more towards the table. "Rule 3." The heavenly voice said. "You only have once chance you need to get it right in one go!"

She turned around to stare the men right in the eye, her shadow right underneath her cast by the swaying light. A dark twisted grin on her face. "The game? Find your way out~" With a small skip she turned. Her small bare feet stepping onto the chair and then onto the table, her little hand reaching to the lap. Daintily she wrapped her fingers around the glowing bulb, the smoke from her fur coming in contact with the hot glass rising up.

With a loud crack and bright flash the bulb got crushed in her grip. Darkness overtook the room. But as the light faded, lines showed within the now dark room. Lines along the wall, shapes of fancy doors all around and about. A few seemed to stand out with glowing detailed etched into them along with a clear 6. A few other doors less detailed, but still with their clear 6's on them.

The ceiling dark as could be, almost like the darkest void out there, but somehow still being the source of the light to illuminate those lines. The hardwood floor having a soft sheen to it as if it had been polished. Flawless and shiny, except for where the girl and him had been. There feet and his fall having left prints. Previously hidden by that shadow's dark shape. Maybe if he squinted enough at the dull spots, he would notice the rough shape of a 6.
