Of Racing and Karate
It was a nice afternoon. The sun was shining high above the sky, though it was rather hot. There was not a cloud to be seen in the sky. It seemed like a good time to take a walk and just relax, it wasn't blazing hot after all.
A while away from any sort of Chao Garden, deep in a rather dark forest, there was a chao. A Chaos Chao to be exact. A small ball of light hung above the Chao's head, lighting a small bit of the area around him. The leaves of the trees blocked out the sun quite a bit, making it difficult to see. It was a wonder to see a chao out here, a chaos chao even, making him quite the rare sight. The chao himself seemed to be punching at a makeshift training dummy wildly. It would almost seem as if he were out of practice, as if he hadn't done something like this in a while. While Chaos Chao are normally supposed to be very strong, he just seemed very... rusty.
The Chao punched the dummy one last time before plopping to the ground in frustration. He crossed his arms and looked at the dummy. If only it could be a little more helpful in helping him get out of this... rut. But dummies don't do much but stand there and let themselves get beat up. He sighed and continued to stare at it.
