The guardian and the chao

Haos sat in the temple of Gaia, a charge bestowed on him by Gaia himself. Though minus the occational ruffian trying to deface the temple, it was boring and lonely. Besides the chaos that came in there was one chao who stuck with him. A white chao named grace. And as duty called they moved from temple to temple, grace always following Haos wherever he went. This is the story of this duo.

Haos sat by the shine, letting the wind blow into the temple. Grace playing with the other chao in the garden. Despite being a shy chao she got along well with her friends at all the temples. Haos smiled as grace flew over with a fruit. "Chao."
"Lunch time already Gracie?"
The chao nodded with her little emotion ball turning into a heart as she handed him the fruit before sitting on the fox's head. 
"Alright then." He cut up the fruit handing a piece to grace so she could eat too.
