The over protective brother

It was a few years after Roxas and mint became brother and sister. And as they got older the more dangers came their way. The young wolf sighed. He knew it would be inevitable that mint was getting older. But was he starting to worry too much? Nah it's all in my head' he thought. He sat by the apple tree in the hollow.

The young girl was now 13. Her appearance changed alot as she grew. Her backpack was full with water bottles, and weapons. She was practicing her knife throwing at a tree. Doing flips and things. She finished and landed and sighed. She walked and took her knifes out and put the, in her backpack and sat down drinking water.

Roxas looked to her. He smiled. He was now 19. And still caring for his sister. He couldn't have life any other way. The runeblade on his back started to glow. He tenced. "Someone's coming." He said looking around. He felt a stranger energy

A lizard, about the same age as mint. Was dashing through towards the hollow wounded. Something seemed to chase him from behind

she pricked her eyes and looked to the lizard. She thought. '< Heck, Yes!!! See if my training as payed off! >' she ran the way of the lizard and jumped into a tree. She sloghtly was camouflaged with the tree and it's leaves. She stayed still waiting for the thing what was attacking him.

Roxas grabbed the lizard and his behind a tree.

The beast behind him rushed into the clearing looking for the lizard growling like a demon. It was a dragon. And it wasn't going to be easy. 

Roxas stood on a branch with the lizard looking to mint. "Ready sis?"

she smirked. "Always am~" she had knifes in her hands, and twin swords on her belt. "..." She waited for the right time to Attack.

Roxas looked seeing a weak spot on the dragons back. He smirked drawing his sword. He jumped on the beasts back as it tried to toss him off. "Yee haw!"

she pricked her ears and threw one of her knifes at the weak spot on the dragon.

The dragon roared as the knife hit it's back. Snarling as it tossed Roxas around on it's back.

Roxas smiled. "Down boy" he said tackling the beast to the ground.

The lizard had web unconscious before but woke looking from where he was spying mint. "Wha...?"

She jumped down and pulled her twin swords out, looking to the dragon. She stood talk as she could and strong. She didn't noticing the person watching her.

"STOP!" The lizard shouted. "Don't hurt him! He's my friend!" The lizard said climbing down gently

The dragon heard his master and flung Roxas off and into a tree on the other side of the hollow.

"Thor! Sit boy" said the lizard"

"?!?!?" She dropped her weapons but still in her hands. "..."

Thor sat and stayed. Roxas groaned as he hit his head on the trunk. 

The lizard held his side as he limped toward Thor. He looked to mint before tripping and landing face first.

she blinked and helped hm up. "???" She walked over to,Roxas. "You alright~"

Roxas rubbed his head. "Ya I'm fine... Why don't you tend to him while I try to get my head into focus"

The lizard lay with his dragon lifting his hend to the red blood coming from the wound. He winced growling

She walked over and blinked. "...why the heck weremyou running from him?!"

The lizard blushed. But looked away before mint could see. " we were running from poachers... People who wanted Thor for his scales and stuff. I got hit by a rifle as we escaped and been trying to find a safe place to rest" he said

Roxas stood. Walking over slowly. "What's your name?"

"Loki lizard" he said

"...well I'm Mint and that's My Bro Roxas..." She looked at him,

Thor leaned his head down by mint and sniffed her.
"Thor mind your manners." Loki said
The dragon didnt listen. Before a weird purr escaped. 

Roxas growled. Being protective as usual. "Back off"

Thor growled back in challenge

she pulled her twin swords. "...you try it... You'll be rare pair of boots..."

Loki sighed. "Thor was only saying hello Roxas. Calm down."

Roxas growled. "Says the stranger who comes into our hollow with a dragon I tow." He said. "How do I know your not with the gangs and thieves trying to hunt us down"

she looked to Roxas. "If there are, they no best to beat... I've dont karate and I beat you all in a blink of an eye..." She walked to get an apple but not letting her guard down.

Loki shivered a little scared. "I'm no fighter... I'm just trying to keep Thor safe." Loki said. 

Roxas growled. He walked over to mint. "Watch him while I have a look arou d for these poachers. Tend to the wound but be careful"

she nodde and looke to them. "...so why were they chasing you?" She jumped into a tree and sat with her legs crossed.

"They wanted to make sure I couldn't meddle in their poaching... That and Thor and I go far back. They would use me as bait if they had the chance." Loki said he looked to where Roxas was before he left. "You and your brother arnt the trusting sort are you?"
