Station Square was in ruins, that much was obvious. There was a solemn and hopeless tone throughout the city, and any living civilians who were foolish enough to stay certainly felt it course through the streets like some sort of spreading disease. The buildings had slowly collapsed under their own weight from destroyed structural bases, the formed rubble scattering across the streets, preventing streets paths and occasionally gathering in alleyways.

The sky grew dark as the familiar sound of thunder grumbled in the distance, waiting for the moment to rip the sky open to unleash a torrent of heavy rain. Ominous indeed, though more so as shadows wavered within surviving alleyways, and occasionally within the remains of buildings. They used to be homes, but now they were simply scavenge areas for those daring enough to enter this deserted city.

One 'shadow' in particular was hidden at a distance. Concerningly well in fact, that they did not make a sound more move an inch. The only thing visible, if one were to look close from their position at that area, would be a slight orange glow.

The figure just watched one certain individual. And they waited to strike.
