Sonic is a sleek looking blue hedgehog. His head is adorned with a total of six spines which are all sleeked back in a smooth arching fashion (Although it often seems like there are only three). He has small triangular ears and a tan muzzle. His eyes are rounded in shape and he has bright green irisses. He has two smaller spines coming out of his shoulder blades and his belly is the same tan as his muzzle, as are his arms.

Sonic wears white, fingered gloves and red, white and yellow soap shoes. The shoes have a fine band of white going over them horizontally and golden buckles on the sides. The very front of the shoes both have a thick rubber coat.

He also has a small blue tail, and a large scar going down his left arm, and wears a strange metallic device on his left wrist.

• Miles 'Tails' Prower - His best little buddy. They're nearly inseperable. Where Sonic goes, Tails is usualy quick to follow. Tails is like a little brother to sonic and much more then just a sidekick. He's truly his best friend.
  
• Knuckles the Echidna - Knuckles is a friendly nemesis in a sense. It's fair to say that they don't always get along but he knows he can count on the knucklehead to have his back no matter what.
  
• Amy Rose - Amy is Sonic's would be love interest, at least in her own humble opinion. Sonic is usualy quick to flee whenever she's around, but that doesn't mean he doesn't care for her. He just needs his space
  
• Cream - This cute little bunny always seems to be getting into trouble, sweet and well mannered, Sonic is always there to save her when she needs it.
  

Rivals:

• Shadow the Hedgehog - Probably the only person that can match his speed and despite his grumpy attitude and tendancy to be on the wrong side, Sonic knows Shadow will probably pull through for the better in the end. He also enjoys ripping on him a little.
  

Enemies:

• Eggman - Sonic's main enemy, his nemisis. Whenever Eggman plots something you can be sure that Sonic will be there to thwart it. Though he's not above working together with Eggman if they have a common goal, and never seems to want to actually KILL Eggman once and for all.
  
• Metal Sonic - A robotic copy of Sonic with whom Sonic has to tussle occasionaly. Metal is build to be faster and stronger than him and really gives Sonic a run for his money. The cold, heartless machine is better than Sonic in a lot of ways.

• Normal - The typical form you see Sonic in. His regular, blue hedgehog self, which he's most well known for.
  

• Super Sonic - The absolute god of the Sonic Universe (not literally), Super Sonic is a major step up from Sonic's normal self. Gaining a golden fur color, a bright golden aura, red eyes and double, even tripple his normal speed and strength, this form will give anyone one hell of a bad time. (P.S.: He destroyed an entire fleet of ships without much effort at all.)
  

• Dark Super Sonic - Although it's rarely ever seen by anyone ever, this form is Sonic's most major dark side. Using the negative energy of the Chaos Emeralds, fueling them with rage and anger, he accesses this form, where his fur turns black and his eyes turn pure white, a dark black aura enveloping him. He has no flight capability. Slower than Super Sonic but tripple in strength and raw power. In this form Sonic has completely lost his mind.

Strengths:

• Super Speed - The fastest thing alive, and proud of it, capable of running faster than the speed of sound and making tornados just by running in circles.
  
• Amazing leg power - Because face it, when your legs can carry you at over the speed of sound, you got to have one hell of a lot of power behind you. Capable of jumping 5 miles far when jumping is combined with running. Able to survive a fall from space. Also if your face connects with his foot don't expect to wake up any time soon.
  
• Extreme durability - Sonic is known to be able to take one hell of a beating before getting into a bad state.
  
• Swimming skills of a rock - This is somewhat a good thing too, as if he has some supply of air, he can quite literally walk along the bottom of the sea.
  

Weaknesses:

• Swimming skills of a rock - Despite the fact it's a good thing, this is much more a bad thing. Put Sonic in a pool of water and you'll have one useless hedgehog flailing around for something to grab ahold of. He also hates getting wet anyway. He doesn't necessarily have a fear of water, but he prefers to avoid it if he can.
  
• Impatience - Sonic doesn't like waiting, and gets very impatient very easily. He's known to outright ignore safety and jump straight into danger.
  
• Short temper - Despite his usual calmness and collectiveness, he actually has a very short fuse. Tick him off too much and you'll have a very angry hedgehog. Provoke him and you're getting your butt kicked.
