The town has been abandoned a long time ago, still the crows gathered. They were scavengers and where there were scavengers there was something for them to feed on. The kills of predators usualy.

It was a scenery straight out of a horror movie; nightfall, ruined streets, a tattered church with shattered windows, it weathervan crooked and broken. All it lacked was zombies shuffling through the streets and bodies strewn all over the place.

Zombies didn't exist... but worse things did.. and the bodies where there, just not in plain sight. But it one couldn't tell from the putrid stench that prevaded the air, they were all stuffed away in the church, splayed out in a gruesome symbol of sorts, the blood drained from their bodies and used to paint all over the walls of the town.

Yet somewhere deep within the town, on the rafters of the very church, something awoke. Like a slumbering gargoyle waking up, it stretched itself like a cat, golden eyes glowing in the dark, its winged silhoutte a black shadow against the full moon.

Something in the air of the town had changed... he could sense it

Slowly a light chuckle could be heard. A dark ominous laughter, something that would probably be well known by now. The laughter of a mad man. Slowly walking threw the streets, breathing in the smell of death as if it was a elegant perfume, who was this creature? Who was this dark figure in the night?


The Laughter grew stronger, along with the sound of a blade dragging against the ground that sickening sound similar to the executioners axe being sharpened against a grind stone. As this figure grew closer, he entered the church. Smiling as he said in a sophisticated...yet maniacal voice,"well...looks like someone has a good sense of decoration....hehe" As he entered the church he walked up to one of the bodies,"oh...for shame. Draining the blood without properly using it. Drawings? This should be worn until the rain washes so you may repaint yourself in the blood of your enemies!" He'd say before laughing,"well...atleast it appears fun." As he turned and began singing....

"Oh it's so easy when your evil, this is the life you see the devil tips his hat to me~" Singing this song as if it was a platinum hit. Spinning the blade that is now seen as a katana. Chuckling in the darkness of the church. His golden eyes piercing through before cracking a ear to ear grin. One filled with razor sharp teeth. That face could scare any man into running...but something felt...that if he did face someone. That face would be as if he was looking in a mirror. So he merely awaited, certainly someone would come. After all, a artist must get new paint.....

There was a scraping sound of metal on stone, not at all unlike Octavariums dragging of his blade. But this sound was lighter, like brief scratches. Silas had watched him enter the church from his lofty position, his golden eyes narrowed. Well this certainly was new, no one walked into his lair this willingly, nor did they laugh like that. He'd slowly clambered down untill he was just above the entrance.

His head cocked a little to the side, picking up the music box he had just left there, winding it up with slow crackles from the key before releasing it. The musicbox started to play its disturbing, metalic and distorted version of 'around the mulberry bush'. The Quetzal quotl set it down always lovingly as the song echoed through the empty streets.

He dropped in the door opening, wings spread and on all fours, still a dark silhoutte against the light, untill he rose, tall and no longer cloaked in shadows. The dragonic creature was truely a marvel to behold.

With glittering silver scales and gold and black feathers. Yes he was a creature of elegance and beauty. But it was completely destroyed by the savage grin plastered on his muzzle and the bloodlust in his eyes. Not to mention the tattered blood stained straightjacket he was wearing.

"Yo..".

Octavarium would chuckle as he saw the face, heh the face he so often wore. The face of insanity and pure love for killing. The song, heh, perfect for scaring children. He must ask who built that for him...or take it off his dead corpse. That would work too....he smiled and said lightly,"hello...."

Octavarium stepped slowly from the shadows spinning his sword. His blueish wolf fur was painted against his white suit and pants. His eyes matched Silan's. his face matchd Silan's....it was as if Silan was Octavarium in another form! Octavarium let out a soft giggle as he said,"looks like I've got a brother when it comes to the the family that is Destruction and Death." As he chuckled lightly before following up with,"you seem like fun, care to play a game? Let's play who get's more blood on them first."

With that Octavarium leapt forward cackling madly as he moved with normal Mobian wolf speed. Which was still pretty impressive. He attempted to behead Silan in a single slash, unlikely. But it'd atleast get the blood pumpin, which was what he wanted!
