Appearance: Skylar is a chubby female cardinal standing at around 3'0"(91.4 cm) and weighing about 88 lbs.(40.0 Kg) with a subtle pear shape and wing-like arms. Her eyes are brown, as are most of her feathers, with red accents along her bangs and tail feathers and a black facemask around her eyes similar to raccoons. Finally, Skylar wears a medium length, snug white dress with a red ribbon around her waist, a pair of long, white gloves with red bows adorned on their ends, and black dress shoes.
Her companion, Emidio, is a black Flicky.

Personality: Skylar has a lot of booksmarts and is considered very intelligent by those close to her, but around others she's incredibly awkward with severe social anxiety and lacking in the maturity to match her smarts. Despite this, even after recent traumatic events, she pushes on. She's kind to everyone, and is adventurous, curious, and fun-loving. She's known for speaking with a lot of big words and not often using contractions, and over the years she developed a few nervous tics and bad habits, like stuttering or not staying still when talking, as well as stress eating.



Combat traits

Powers: The powers of Feign give her the power of future-sight, though it's fairly limited and weak. It usually only works for events involving the Feign, Feignite, Tiranus, Nightmares or the Feign Gate on Helios, though how related it has to be can be rather vague. She tends to only see the future when she's asleep in her dreams, but not every dream shows her the future and others can still be a lot more vague and symbolic, so it can be hard to tell the difference between visions and normal dreams. Aside from that, she can sense Feign and Nightmare energies, her Flicky companion Emidio can help her fight(usually acting as a distraction), she wields a marble mace she literally ripped off a statue in a panic, and she has limited flight capabilities including a spin jump she can perform that acts as a double jump or a higher jump, and she can flap her arms in humorous manner to increase her airtime.

History
Skylar was born on the ancient, man made, flying island of Helios to the rulers Queen Celeste and King Sullivan Stone, both of which were working inside the inner machinations of the island, trying to study the Island itself and the Feign that it was connected to. After an accident resulted in Sullivan being trapped within the Feign, Celeste fell into a deep depression and eventually... into a subtle form of a madness. She told Skylar and her knight Alexander the Feign prophecy of Helios and that it's destruction would be inevitable, and despite accepting her word as truth, they both had their reservations about these prophecies of doom. As the two of them grew and formed their own independence, Celeste began to see them as a threat, so she made efforts to sabotage them lest they ever attempt to interfere. She would eventually attempt to ‘train’ Alexander to be loyal to her alone, and while this did fail, she did succeed in making Skylar complacent with her word and incapable of acting out or doing anything to stop her.
During this period of their lives, Skylar found a young flicky hurt on the ground, and with a little help from Alexander, was able to help it back to health and get it to fly again. This flicky soon visited her frequently at her bedroom balcony and would eventually find themself never leaving her side, either flying around her or resting on her arm.
Eventually, Sky, Alexander, and her new flicky companion Emidio, would come across a strange automaton when exploring their island home. When their presence awoke the dormant machine it quickly attacked, chasing them out of the inner machinations of the Island that it had been laid to rest in. They would later learn that this ancient automaton was likely connected to the disappearance of Sky's father and Celeste's current mental state. With their trust in her finally wavering and new mysteries arising, they began to question much of what they had been told by her- about the prophecies, about the Feign, and about her lost father.
With the help of the Feign Nihilux, Celeste opened the gate to Feign itself, hoping to take the island with her as she entered the other realm to find Sullivan. Sky and Alexander followed after, but their adventure into the Feign left them traumatized and touched by a new, subtle madness. Despite everything, Sullivan was found, and Celeste finally came to and was faced with the horrible consequences of her actions.
Sullivan informed them about what he had learned during his time in the Feign and what the prophecy truly was, and this made Skylar determined to stop it.
With sad goodbyes and a promise to come back, Sky left the island with her flicky to go adventuring around Mobius. The island was safe in the capable wings of parents and Alexanders, who weren't as willing to leave as her but Sky had made promise to stay with her family.
Sky would get to see the world finally, and try and cope with the experience she had in Feign on her quest to get the Feignite Crystals and stop Nightfall...
