Re: Time for action [Training Dome, Guild] [CLOSED!]
Lillith's jaw almost dropped seeing caen do his winged jump. "WHAT?!" She yelled backing up to make sure he wasn't going to try and attack her. Lillith only looked at caen for a few more moments before going to the door that had a stairs icon and heading in. Lillith looked down the stairs already seeing who she was going to fight. "Oh hello there~" lillith said as she jumped down the small hole in between the stairs before grabbing a pole and stopping next to Dione. "I promise I'll only toy with you." Lillith swung up and landed in front of her.

"No, of course not, Boubka!" The hedgehog replied, swinging a blade as a large flame try behind it. "Heat buckler!" He shouted as a shield just large enough to protect him from Boubka's bullets.
The shield quickly disappated as Caen launched himself forward. He was much faster than before, this much being clear as Caen swung both swords at Boubka, with what appeared to be glowing embers trailing along behind him with every movement.

Re: Time for action [Training Dome, Guild] [CLOSED!]
The bullets exploded on Caen's shield, small whistling sounds could be heard, as if some fireworks had been blown up. A quick shield. Of course. Bou's expression made him look like he was in a tough spot. Right. Explosions. How would he be able to beat him?
As the fox's gauntlets slowly began to take form, the hedgehog was already rushing at him. He wouldn't be able to deflect the swords just now. His gauntlets weren't ready for it. Contact with fire would most definitely make the explode. He instead decided to quickly jump to the side, almost hitting the swords. "HNRUH! Hey! Look out with those sharp objects! You might end up hurting someone!" He grinned as his gauntlets were finally fully created.
Bou ran at Caen, throwing a single right-handed punch, that would be followed up by another slam of his left fist.

The sound of footsteps belonging to another, and the sudden 'plop' from the purple inkdemon startled Dione. The girl had swung herself up to land right in front of the girl, seemingly grinning slightly and enjoying the fact she got startled. This sure was a great way to start off a fight, or training session, or whatever people wanted to call it. It threw the wolf off, and made her stagger slightly. However, she quickly regained her balance and felt slightly more confident.
The comment the girl made about 'toying with Dione', was quite off-putting, though. It was almost as if she would normally go to greater lengths to actually severely hurt people instead of just training and sparring with them. The whole ominous air around the girl got stronger and the wolf frowned slightly, trying to work out what to do. The fact that her opponent was, indeed, on the higher steps, was a bit of a problem. She wanted to get the higher ground, she needed that advantage or else she was sure to lose this whole thing.
Dione thought, and before she even said anything, she attempted to speed forward and dash underneath the girl's arms in an attempt to get behind her and knock her down a few steps. It was risky, that was for sure, but she had to try something and it was not the time to just hang around and do nothing. The game was on.

Lillith kept her grin as she looked at Dione suddenly charging in front of her at an attempt to get on higher ground. Lillith let herself get pushed down as she flung her whip behind her to see if she could hit Dione for that push. The reality of the situation is that lillith didn't get pushed. Dione's hand got stuck in Lillith's back. Lillith had made her body unstable enough for Dione's hand to get in her back but immediately made it become stable for the hand to not come out.
"Well look at that. It seems you're stuck." Lillith said turning her head a complete 180 just to look at Dione directly. "I wonder what would happen if I purposely fall down the stairs. " Lillith took a step down a stair. "Would you get dragged down with me?" Was lillith going to actually try to do something like that? Probably if this was a different scenario. Right now, she was just practicing her act for future victims and testing if this would really creep others out.

Caen smiled as he spun on his heels to face Boubka again, the embers coming from him seemingly increasing in frequency. Was this a side effect of Dione's power, or was it to do with the adrenaline? It was unclear.
"How about you 'watch out' with the fireworks, Boubka!" He said, stepping to dodge the kitsune's first blow, and hopping back to dodge the next one. "Come on! I know you can do better than that, Boubka! I want you to give it all you've got, as I will!" He said, preparing to block the next blow with the flat side of one of his swords.

"Fireworks?! You're the one playing with actual fire there, bucko!" He grinned. It seemed like Caen was ready to defend. Should he actually shoot at him now? His normal strategy would be to get in closer instead, but this time it was different. This time, he was fighting against fire. What a dumb move from Caen.
"Same goes for you Caen. Your strategy is a bit...lacking if I say so myself. You should think better about your enemy's powers!" He continuously began to shoot bullet after bullet right at Caen's sword. And every time it hit, it made a small explosion, which would probably at least push the hedgehog back a bit. He did this until he was probably going to fall off of the building. "Better think harder next time, dumdum!"

Re: Time for action [Training Dome, Guild] [CLOSED!]
The noise of the small explosions on the roof was worrying. What in heaven's name were they doing up there? Boubka's laugh then echoed down the stairwell, not predicting much good.
Meanwhile, when Dione tried to push Lillith down, things didn't go exactly as planned and hoped for. Somehow, the wolf honestly didn't know how, her left hand had gotten stuck in her opponent's back. What the hell was going on? Lucky for her, the inkwhip only hit her in the shin, leaving a stain in her jeans and a slight burning feeling on her skin. The wolf squinted for a second as she tried to ignore it, and as she tried to free herself from the girl's back, alas to no success.
What happened next was truly unsettling. The purprle cat just suddenly turned her head around, nearly a full 180 degrees, like an owl. WHAT THE FUCK! Then the girl took a quick step down the stairs, making Dione stumble forward awkwardly while letting out a high-pitched yelp. She was scared. She had never seen anything like this before and she didn't know what she could do about it to fix the situation. In another attempt to free herself, she jerked her hand backwards, a pull strong enough to pull the cat with her if her hand didn't come loose, but also strong enough to throw herself to the ground if it was strong enough to free herself.

Lillith laughed at how scared Dione was getting. Though she couldn't enjoy it for long as Dione tugged very hard. This caused lillith some pain as she let her body destabilize so Dione could fall hard on the stairs. Lillith almost fell on top of Dione. "Whoa there... You're in a rush to leave. Shame.."

Re: Time for action [Training Dome, Guild] [CLOSED!]
Boubka was keeping at a rather unusual range, for someone who enjoyed fighting up-close and personal, mostly choosing flying fists of fury over strategy. He fired several bullets, seemingly aiming for the area that Caen was defending.
With each shot's explosion, the hedgehog skidded slightly backwards, until he was right next to the edge. He looked behind himself, and gritted his teeth. He took a deep breath, bracing for his inevitable fall upon the next blow.
And, with that, the hedgehog had fallen. Soon, however, he outstretched one of his arms, and a fiery, translucent arm sprouted from his hand, engulfing his blade and stretching beyond it, catching the ledge of the building. With one switch movement, he pulled up with it, and was sent flying into the air above Boubka.
"Of course I'm taking your powers into account, Boubka!" He shouted from above "but this is an experiment! I want to see just what I can do!" He swung his sword forwards, and the tip began to glow. "Blazing...."
The glowing tip caught fire, and within a second or two, a powerful jet of flame would erupt from it, just as Caen shouted "... End!" Whether or not Boubka was caught in it didn't matter. Caen wanted to see just how far he could push his newfound power.

Nice! Exactly as planned! He'd fall off the building! Then he realised how the hedgehog actually got on the building. Poop. He tried to move closer to him and jump after him, but Caen was already back up again. He now was above the cyan fox.
He shouldn't've moved closer. He let his guard down by doubting his own strategy. He got caught in the blaze that now engulved him. His terrible fears were back again. The flames. Nobody there to help him. The pain. The helplessness.
He rapidly jumped out of the stream. "CCCCHHHHAOS SHHHHHUT ITTTT" Some parts of his clothes caught on fire, he patted them out. "FFFFFReeze me that was GGGoddamn terrifying!" If Caen would look closely, he'd see that Bou's irises weren't really...identifiable. Almost his whole eyes glowed green.
"rrrRRRRrrrr" He had to get it out. His veins felt like they were going to explode if he wasn't going to do anything about it. "rrrrRRAAAAAH!" He propelled his arms downward. An enourmous green beam went through the floor, cracking a few ceilings along the way. Probably about 7 floors were suddenly unstable. They were cracking and collapsing. But before that'd happened. Bou tried to jump up and cling on to Caen with his gauntlets. The gauntlets, upon contact with Caen, would feel different to the hedgehog however. It was as if tiny tasers were shocking him.
His irises started to take shape again, bringing back the white in his eyes.

As Dione's hand got released from the demoness's back, Dione stumbled backwards and landed on the hard, concrete steps underneath her, causing a shooting pain to go through her body. Mere moments later, Lillith followed in her tracks and nearly landed on top of her. Before she could, however, the wolf quickly rolled over to the side, creating a gap between her and her opponent, allowing the purple cat to land on the concrete floor as well.
She lay there for a couple of seconds, trying to catch her breath, but that was a mistake. In those few seconds, a rumbling sound and the noise of explosions filled the air again, this time coming not from above the building, but from the building itself. Rubble started falling down, large chunks of concrete and metal poles and wiring tumbled down the stairwell.
The green canine jumped up in a frenzy and stopped projecting her powers onto Caen for the time being. She yelled a quick apology to him and started running down the stairs, hoping to get out of the building. She left Lillith behind, hoping the rubble would trap her on the stairs. She had to jump over a few gaps in the floor, but once she reached the lowest few floors, she could just normally run down the stairs again without any real obstructions.
Once she reached the door, she burst it open and ran to the square, nearly slipping on the thin layer of snow that had now formed. The girl ran until she reaced the fountain which she had stood in only minutes ago, trying to gather her thoughts and to make a plan for herself. She figured it was about time she started using her powers for her own benefit. Dione once again channeled her energy, focussing just enough to give herself a nice boost, enhancing her reflexes and her stamina. Her hand subconsciously rested on the handle of her knife. She was ready.

Lillith fell on the steps due to Dione's roll to the side. Lillith got up from that rubbing her face a bit. She jumped, almost falling down the steps, when she saw the building practically fall on them piece by piece. Lillith didn't have a chance to tell Dione anything since her sparing partner had booked it out. "OH JUST GREAT. JUST PERFEC-" She couldn't even vocally show her anger at the situation since a heavy building piece fell on her, splatting her straight to her ink form. The ink sort of flowed on the stairs before bubbling extremely fast.
"RRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH"
Lillith yelled in pure anger sounding way more demonic. Her voice practically echoed around the building.

Re: Time for action [Training Dome, Guild] [CLOSED!]
Caen couldn't help but feel a sense of satisfaction at how far he'd come. How easy controlling his flames had become. It was a far cry from eight years ago, that was clear.
The hedgehog snapped back to reality as he felt hands grabbing onto him in the air, and a sharp, almost burning kind of pain who through him. The building was also crumbling beneath him, and Caen's eyes went wide as he saw Boubka's. They glowed green.
Caen hissed at the pain, before shouting "Boubka, what have you done?! L-let go, we'll both fall!" He gritted his teeth, and without letting Boubka answer, he learnt back, bringing his feet forwards and attempting to kick Boubka in the chest to bring him to let the hedgehog go.

Re: Time for action [Training Dome, Guild] [CLOSED!]
His hearing was deafened. All he could hear was a loud beep in his ears, and a sudden growl coming from out of the building. This was it. This was the tention he would be feeling if he actually was in danger. It didn't feel necessarily good, but it didn't feel bad either. It made him feel energized. Not to mention that this was only sparring. He knew everything would end well. Still, at this moment he had only one goal: Defeating Caen.
The pain was only a minor set-back. He could take it. It gave him more adrenaline, more energy to fight with. And so he did. He'd show him everything that he had learned. From mom, from dad, from Luka and from himself. Caen seemed to be afraid of falling down. Bou softly growled as he was trying to keep a grip on Caen. "Oh right. Or otherwise only I will fall. G-Good point! I'll let go."
Initiate bad pun
Bou did let go, but instead of just removing his grip, he dragged Caen downwards, forcing him to fall down with his back and wings on the opposite side of where you'd want them.
Then Bou realised he didn't have a back up plan for landing from such a height, so he did the only thing he could do in a situation like this from what his experience had taught him. He used his chaos energy to perform a beam straight down towards the ground, giving him enough recoil to slow down his fall. It would still be quite some force he'd have to endure on the landing, but it was worth it hopefully.

The impact of the chaos beam on the ground shook it, and made a crashing noise. Caen was falling, and it didn't look good. Quick, time to focus again. Dione tried with everything she had, and managed to project a burst of energy onto the hedgehog. Hopefully that was enough to help him get to the ground safely. In the meantime, the wolf had other things to worry about.
A loud roar, near enough demonic sounding, came from the insides of the building. Black goop seemed to be dripping on the floor and slowly crawling forward towards the exit of the building. It looked kind of terrifying and gross. Dione looked if she could find any tracks or traces of Lillith, but couldn't find anything organic for that part. Only what looked like... tar? Ink? Some black, bubbly substance. Not sure of what to do, the girl decided to keep her distance for now and save her energy a bit.

After Lillith had her small hissy fit. She let her puddle move towards her fighting partner who was near the exit. She stayed in the ooze form for a few more seconds before forming back to her usual self. Lillith had her arms crossed. She was tapping her foot furiously on the ground and gave a side glare at Dione.

Re: Time for action [Training Dome, Guild] [CLOSED!]
Caen's eyes went wide as Boubka threw the hedgehog downwards, his back parallel to the ground. "N-no!" He shouted, trying to resummon his wings, but feeling a sharp burst of pain "shit! I can't keep going like this!"
His eyes started to glow orange as more and more embers rose from his falling body. Fear. That's all he felt, now. It was happening again.
Caen felt a burst of energy, and knew immediately it was from Dione. He held out one arm, letting out a jet of fire, allowing him to spin around so he could at least see the ground. His eyes scanned around for something to slow his fall. Seeing nothing else, he gritted his teeth, holding out both arms and letting out a short blast of fire, slowing down his fall just enough to land heavily, and painfully, on his feet. Nothing was broken, and that's all that mattered.
Glowing eyes moved back up to Boubka, locking on to the kitsune. "We're not done yet, Boubka, you bastard!"
