About Sonic Forces... Empty About Sonic Forces...

So Sonic Forces, the newest game in the series after Sonic Mania, if you haven't heard, is basically Eggman gets this new found power (From what I heard.) and wins against Sonic, and attacks the world or something. 

My question is, is there going to be some sort of event of Sonic Forces, or is the world going to be under attack whenever someone canon roleplays?  Question
