Operation Alpha

"Thing?" Flame asked disdainfully, "It?"
The hedgehog put her free paw up on her hip, squinting at the wolf. "Next time you almost trip a person by poppin' outta the sewer in front of her, maybe you should pay more attention!" she retorted to him as he started off.

Her eyes rolled and she glanced around. 'What was I doin' before all this...?' she mused. Her ears perked up and she reached back to take out her phone again. 'Riiiight, shoes...'

( OOC: I'm a bit slow on the draw here. DracNos hasn't posted yet and is being skipped. It is now Mike's turn. )

Upon arriving at Ground Zero The parrot scans the scene. Looking at the sight of the attacks. During the situation emergency broadcast alerts spread around the city as the suit's hover jets activate as he moves deeper in the city. Following the destruction

" If you want this target bad I recommend sending out drones to search the target down. " The parrot calls to the company operator.

" I understand. We will deploy some drones to scout ahead of you location. That's all we can provide for you at this moment."

Inside the city a Police APC opens its side door as 3 cops. Under the company's pay roll Launches 3 hover drones into the sky. The drones split up and start scanning the area. Inside there data banks is the image of the Wolf thanks to city security cameras.

"Drones have been deployed, but at the end it is up to you. Continue your search while the drones do the rest." the Operator notifies the parrot.

"I will. The Job may be harder due to by now the Police may be bringing in power suits of their own. Or even having G.U.N. get involved. " The parrot responds back with a sly smirk on his face as he continues moving at 60 KPH (37 MPH) in hover mode. Hoping to find the target before the police and maybe G.U.N. get him first.

Storm leaned on the window sill, sipping the more-or-less fresh cup of coffee. It finally seemed like things had begun to move away from his part of the city. Sweet. Below, people shifted through the alleyways towards their cars, or to city designated buses. Unfortunately, he was still under evacuation orders. The fox shrugged, and poured the rest of the coffee out of his mug and into the potted plant on the balcony under him. Oh well. Time to get moving. He had a dead drop to get a briefcase to.

Caen got nearer and nearer to the glass building, eventually coming to the big double doors. He took a deep breath before heading inside. People were staring. They definitely recognised him. Either way, he knew he now had to act quickly, to ensure he isn't caught up in another police chase. He shook his head "this isn't what I wanted... These people... Giving such judgemental gazes... It pisses me off," he muttered, nearing the stairwell of this building. It appeared to be some kind of office building, with this bottom floor clearly being a reception-type area. It was professionally furnished, with a lot of leather upholstery dotting the room, presumably making up a 'waiting area'. The desk was a glossy white, with one woman standing behind it. Everyone stayed silent, not moving an inch. He started climbing the steps, not saying a word to any of them. What pissed him off more was the fact that news outlets and the like would be how they would even know any information, no doubt telling them how he was a known criminal and did several heinous acts... Pure and utter defamation of character. Something that Caen could not afford to receive. 'that I can deal with later. I need to focus on what's most important.' the hedgehog thought to himself, climbing stair after stair.

( OOC: Haven't seen Shrike here in a while. It's now Shade's turn. )

Shade looked down at Andrew and sighed, "hurry up Andy, we don't have a lot of time," Shade peered over the edge just a little bit too much and slipped. "Hurgh," he grunted and quickly jumped away from the edge, "oh shit, I'm done for," he looked around the building but couldn't find anything to hide behind. Shade got his guns ready, "might have to shoot my way out of this," he thought.

The wolf glances back over towards the hedgehog as she reacts to his wording of events.

"Oh? That was a person?" he asks, "I hadn't noticed... They were moving too fast and I wasn't looking in that direction they had approached from."

He spreads his arms and offers a slightly nod to her.

"My apologies if I had offended you." he says, "It was not my intent even though that was the result."

Flame shifted her gaze back over from her phone, appearing skeptical. The apology seemed to soften her expression a bit at least.

"Clearly," she stated, "You'd owe me a lot more than an apology if I'd scraped myself all down this street here."

( OOC: No DracNos again. Now, onto Mike's turn. )

The parrot would get a call from the team in disguise as cops in his suit's communication system


" This is Team Delta. Drone NK-297 Found the target. He's in the Okinawa District. He is with a small group of people as well. NK-297 will continue to Observe, but You better hurry fast. NP-926 detected two SWAT Power armors launching from Blockage KW-31."

The parrot smirks as he makes a quick turn moving towards the district.


" Good. I will have to thank VALKOM one day. Just be forewarn if those two arrive I will have no choice, but to disable or Eliminate them. Sorry, but if there in the way of capturing the target I will have no choice, but to take there lives to complete my mission."


His suit would dash to a nearby High way near the target building as his thrusters activates a powered jump and thruster power to soften the landing, After spending 25 minutes to arrive near the area he will jump onto a nearby building roof. The impact cracks the rooftop. Upon getting up he walks over to observe the building.

" I have arrived into the combat area. Just have an extraction vehicle ready to go when I'm done"

Upon the completion of that message he grabs the power armor's gun and prepares for the attack and capture.

The television flashed with updates to the news, as well as the yellow ticker advising everyone to evacuate. What a show this day had become! The fox carefully went around and gathered the implements of his scrying session, pitching his appliances back into the kitchen as he went.

The smart watch on his wrist chimed happily, drawing his gaze downward. With a flick of his finger, the holographic display popped out in from of him. An address and a time was all there was. The fox rolled his eyes. As if he'd forgotten. Time to get this over with already and skip town for the weekend.

((wow. Been a while since my last turn, hasn't it?))

Caen finally reached the roof. Much to his delight, he wasn't stopped in any way. Then again, they probably chose to stay away from him, or perhaps they were evacuating. Either way, he was glad that he finally got a breather.

"Now," Caen said, looking out over the city "if I was a wolf in a suit of armour, where would I be...?" Caen leaned over the edge, placing one hand above his eyes to block out any interfering sunlight.

In the distance, the hedgehog could see something odd. It almost looked like some sort of mech. He raised an eyebrow "is that what I think it is, Shrike?" He said, looking over at the marine ((that is, if you're still here )) "'cause I don't like the look of this." He leaned back, rubbing the bridge of his nose, sighing "I just hope they're not after us."

( OOC: No Shrike again. It's now Shade's turn. )
( OOC: And that's four days for Shade. My turn. To start off, DracNos and Shrike are both being bumped from the post cycle. Haven't seen DracNos in some time and Shrike has stopped posting in this topic.

The wolf turns away from the hedgehog and glances around again.

"Hmmm... well, that's still possible I suppose." he says to her, "You can avoid that if you clear out now though. I'm pretty sure things are about to get much more interesting soon."

He looks over towards her and smirks.

"So... unless you want to hang around for the banter or the exercise, I guess I may as well part ways with you." he adds.

Flame snorted in response.
"Yeah, yeah, you just get back to your runnin' and I'll worry about what I'm gonna do," the hedgehog replied, "Maybe I'll watch the cops keep chasin' you and your buddies in circles again or maybe I'll find somethin' more entertainin' to do."

Granted, as she spoke, she did glance around briefly herself. It was plenty clear this wolf knew more than she did and if something was coming, staying out of the line of fire was pretty high on her priority list. That didn't, however, mean she was just going to back down and retreat at the mere mention of danger... So for now, Flame remained where was standing, returning her gaze over to this strange, and rather annoyingly smug, wolf.

" Well. There here now.... Time to get to work. Time to play my music"

The parrot's computer turns to the song as the power suit lands on the ground and hovers into the building pointing to the top using the suit's loudspeaker as the music echos into the building. He raises the rifle into the air and starts firing into the lights. Shattering the light of the building. The glass of the Florence bulbs land all over the ground and on the Power suit. The volume lowers as he raises a large mechanical finger to the sky with now a voice coming from it.

" Okay. We can do this two ways. You all surrender the person who land here to me... Or... you end up like these light bulbs. You got 10 minute to make a decision! US IT!"



The suit walks over to the elevator and kicks the door. Ripping the top of the elevator cabin off. Afterwards he attaches the rifle to the back and starts climbing the shaft heading to the upper floors.

The mech worked surprisingly quickly, spotting the hedgehog on the roof of the building, and entering using the rather efficient shortcut of bursting through the concrete wall. The shattering of glass could be heard downstairs, presumably due to each light bulb being destroyed. Not exactly a disadvantage for a pyrokinetic, however. Throughout the halls echoed the words to the song 'ace of spades'. However, before long, the noise lowered, and was replaced by a booming voice, commanding Caen to surrender.

The creak of metal could be heard as the mech ripped the doors off of the elevator, presumably climbing up the shaft to try to reach the hedgehog on the roof. Caen, meanwhile, sat on the ledge surrounding the roof, sighing "it's just not my lucky day, is it?"

The hedgehog cupped his hands around his mouth as he stood up "I don't know if you can hear me, but something tells me I'm not the guy you're after."

( OOC: No Shade again. My turn. )

The wolf smirks as he looks back at the hedgehog.

"Well, if you do that, make sure to keep your distance so that you don't get involved." he says, "You're too nice to have anything happen to you."

With that, he turns away and takes off, heading for the alleyway between two nearby buildings. On his way there, he can suddenly hear music being played loudly. His ears perk up in response, but his stride doesn't diminish.

'Too nice?' Flame squinted her eyes. 'Fine as hell would suffice.'

She watched the wolf turn and run off, but the hedgehog made no move to follow him. It would be too weird to just trail after the guy.

...Right?

The sound of loud music somewhere off in the distance made her turn her head to glance idly in one direction. 'Ugh, some people are just too proud of their own tastes.' The hedgehog gave her head a little shake, turning back in the direction she had been going before almost tripping over the wolf a short time prior.

'Let's just get what I need so I can get the hell outta this weird place.' she thought, starting off at a walk down the sidewalk again. Her gaze lowered to her phone as she went over the directions there once more.

The armored suit plows through the elevator doors and climbs onto the floor seeing the hedgehog and the other person. The 'mech' in question is small. Only being 3 meters (9 feet tall). With two smaller arms for the pilot that controls 2 larger arms. The machine raises a rifle to the person. It stands there pointing the gun to the two with the music turning off for a bit while inside the machine a private conversation is had between the parrot and the VALKOM representative.

" Central. I cornered a Hedgehog and another person. I need a confirmation of target acquisition. "

"Negative... The footage shows more of a canine like shape. Not a hedgehog or the other you are seeing. " The representative responds back to the parrot.


"Damn... Guessing the target is not here then. Have the drones continue there sweep then. And notify me of updates to the target's location."

The gun would raise up as it stomps over to the two. the coms now go public for the two to hear the pilot.


" Okay then.. I'm going to ask you two a question.. A canine like creature is here.. You got 30 seconds to tell me where it is right now!"

The mech finally made it to the roof, bursting through the elevator doors. It held a large rifle, and aimed it at the hedgehog ((remember, Shrike is gone, now, as he went AWOL ages ago)). It seemed like a rather impractical design to Caen. Wouldn't it have required less resources to just build the firearm into the machinery? He shook his head, remembering that he was a guy who chose to use swords in a day and age where firearms existed, so who was he to talk about impracticality?

The man in the mech moved forwards, asking the hedgehog about a canine in the area, holding the gun towards him. Caen looked up at where he presumed the man would be situated within the suit. "You could be a little more polite and lower the gun," Caen said bluntly, before shrugging his shoulders "as a matter of fact, I'm looking for the same person, however I don't know where he is. So, as much as I'd love to help you with whatever you've got going on over here, I've got the police and the military on my tail, and I'd prefer not to go to jail, today. See ya." Caen walked around the mech, continuing back into the building, and making his way downwards.
