Metal Gear Iblis: 2006

Dr. Ivo "Eggman" Robotnik has taken the Princess of Soleanna hostage on his Mechanical Island base in White Acropolis. He threatens to unleash Iblis, the flames of disaster, upon the world unless his ransom demand of all Seven Chaos Emeralds is met. Also, if he ever so much as sees Sonic or any of his little friends in Soleanna, he will Unleash Iblis immediately! Without the Blue Blur able to do anything but sit and watch in anticipation, someone else had to come up with a plan and quickly. They needed to somehow retrieve the princess unharmed, with secrecy and stealth. The Kingdom of Soleanna's neighbor, The United Federation, is frantically searching for a solution. Knowing very well that with the power of Iblis in the mad Doctor's hands puts their country's safety is very much at risk, they request the assistance of the Guardian Units of the Nation's Commander to send in an infiltrator. 

       They sent in their best stealth agent, Rouge the Bat, to rescue the princess. However, it has been several hours since her deployment, and G.U.N. has lost all contact with her. It wouldn't be wise to send in Shadow after her, since Robotnik would easily anticipate this and take appropriate action. This was a difficult debate, but ultimately it was decided that a new agent would be deployed to take over the mission, one that Dr. Robotnik hasn't even seen before. New Blood, new techniques, new ideas... They needed this new guy. Recently arrested and recruited, Cruz Igranaggio Glocke had been a thorn in G.U.N.'s side for quite some time now. Infamous for sabotaging several of G.U.N.'s weapons projects and data, Cruz was eventually arrested and taken into G.U.N.'s custody. Instead of locking this goldmine of potential away behind bars, they bargained with him. In short, this was how Cruz Igranaggio Glocke, infamous Anti-G.U.N. Radical became part of this mission.
