'Check the vault vi. I want to know how they got in without being detected' Leo said mentally.

"I'm a lot stronger than I look kay." He said transforming. "Toss it on and get on"

'got it,was first thing i was gonna check anyway.'Vi replied and pulled up and parked."c'mon junior."she said as he took went to get out of the car.

"alright then,not use to being offered a ride."she told and set her pouches on him getting on top,but it wasn't like she added any more weight to the laod,being as light as she was.

Lyle smiled. Starting to run making sure she didn't drop anything.

A lions roar sounded in the distance. This made Lyle tence and move faster

Kaylan's ears perked up to the sound."...uhm..that was a bad sound no?"she questioned and looked back for a moment.

Lyle looked to her. "Hold on tight and don't let go what ever you do" he said running faster and faster as the lion roar started to get louder

Ortin stood next to the door. "Hey vi, junior"

"!.."she gripped on tightly to the fabric of the pouches."too bad you arent a cheeta! they can go so much faster!."Kaylan commented.

"ya hi."vi just walked sternly passed.Jr. stood and looked up at ortin."...."

"What's up nephew?" Ortin asked

"The cats of my clan run faster than cheetahs" Lyle said running faster and faster. 

Leo was now in sight behind them growling.

she looked behind."....wow i'm surrounded by predators lately.."kaylan couldn't help but point that out aloud."...sometimes though the means of prey out due the predator."she told.

"someone broke into the vault i guess."he shrugged not understanding the big deal.
vi was already going over the security system inch by inch."...."

Leo roared. 

"Not from this cat" Lyle said. "I need you to take the rose and go I'll hold him off." He said "can you do that and keep that rose safe for me?"

"I noticed" Ortin said. "Your uncle noz stopped by looking to see if you wanted to throw the football around?"

Vi would notice that someone had used her override codes to te security system

"course i can!...just be careful yourself."she glanced back and took the rose in hand then hopped off mid stride darting to the left among the alleys.

Vi cursed under her breath repeatedly as she refreshed it all and plotted of a better system."...."

"really! where?"Jr. asked,not really the best sentence he put together.

Lyle snarled turning and tackling Leo tooth and claw

"He's in the training room with your aunt."

Noz punched the bag. "Are they back yet Terri?" (I think that's what you called her right? It's been so long"

(yup good memory)

"awesome!."jr. smiled and ran for the training room.

Terri looked up to noz and blinked."yes,except for leo."

Kaylan ran on toward home,the cave,with the rose.

Noz stopped droping the gloves. "Now where could that imortal little brother of mine be?" He noticed his nephew running for him. "Hey there's my little speed demon."

Leo and Lyle fought leaving claw marks in eachother and Lyle had been bitten on his shoulder. But just as Leo was about to knock Lyle out. Lyle turned the tables throwing Leo into a building knocking him out for now. Lyle started to limp back towards the cave.

terri blinked."i dunno."she smiled and looked to jr.

"hi!"he smiled wide happy to see them.

kaylan had just arrived at the cave and took a seat waiting and looking at the rose.

"Hey champ where's your dad at?" Noz asked

Lyle panted almost to the cave. He groaned falling with a thud to the ground. Not fare from the cave

"he ran off i dunno why."he replied.

kaylan heard the slight noises and looked,getting up to get a closer look only to spot him collapsed on the ground."!..well..made it in one piece."she commented and looked at his wounds."....."

He was in severe pain. "Damn imortal lion." He snarled attempting to get to the cave. Only to fall over again.

Noz picked junior up. "Well thn your old man is missing out. Why don't you grab the football and meet me by the front and I'll take you to the park. I need to talk with your mom for a moment" he said befor e looking to Terri. "Comeon vi will probably know what's going on."

"uhm! why don't you just stay there! might be safer!..i don't know much first aid."she said.

"alright."he hopped then ran to find the ball.

terri got up and followed noz."ya."

Vi remained resetting the system.

Noz walked. "Vi what's going on?" He asked

Lyle growled. "I do I just need to get to my backpack." He said wincing as he started to get up again. 'This was all worth it. Protecting my prize.... Protecting kaylan...' He thought but shook his head. 'Whats wrong with me. I was protecting the rose. Not her... Was I?'

"!.."she glanced to the ground and stood,then walked."you could just ask for me to bring it to you."kaylan pointed out,a downed tone in her voice.

Vi didn't even look to them."vault was broken into and leo went to get what was taken back,if you two could,go check on him?.."she asked,completely absorbed in improving what failed.

"I uh promised your son id take him to the park" noz said. "But I'll take him and go check on Leo before we go."

"I can do it myself." He said. He had had to do this for most of his life. Maybe he was just stubborn. Or maybe he just didn't want to admit he needed help.

she sat and watched him,seeming unphased by his ignorant attitude."oh sure of course,cause you do everything alone,despite having the extra aid you practically asked for...i ran from a home that treated me this same way,keep doing it and i'll just  bid you farewell.i'm not gonna put up with it if i don't have to."she said sounding upset.

"oh?...well.ya,then go.please."she glanced to him.
Terri blinked,she hadn't seen vi so focused in a long time.

mCyrus appeared on the screen as the other two left. "You called vi?"

Noz walked. "Comeon champ your mom wants us to check on your dad"

Lyle looked to her. Then to the ground. Going silent. He stood transforming back into mobian. Knowin full well that would only make it worse. "Then if that's how you feel then fine. I'm glad you helped me steal the rose. I'm glad you agreed to let me stay. But all the pain I endure I take care of myself." His fur was starting to coat with blood. He held his shoulder. Wincing. As he walked towards the cave.

"yes,we got robbed,the system failed and i could maybe use something better,if you know of."Vi asked.an air of reluctance laced her voice.

"and hows that going for you hmm?"she asked and looked away,couldn't stand to look at him how he was.she just grabbed the rose in her hand away from his sight.

Lyle noticed. And smiled. "Go ahead and keep it. A gift for helping me out." He he said taking off his shirt tending to his wounds. "No honor amoung thieves right?"

Cyrus thought "let me see your programs and I'll see what I can do here. And I'll have it done and installed tomorrow morning"
