Board Games (Pt. 4)

"If I may ask, what's the deal with you and him?" Ivona asked.

"I don't really know... I guess I was so conflicted with being good or bad that I sort of... separated. I mean he's me but not really me." Ren said.

"Oh, so you're sorta like me," Ivona sais. "Or at least, were."

"You have another you fighting for control?!" Realm said.

"Three months ago, I jumped off a bridge. When I washed ashore, I was revived by an alien," Ivona replied. "Said alien gave me powers and is keeping me alive."

"An alien? I didn't know they actually existed."

There was a sudden change in Ivona's voice. The white streak in her hair glowed a radiant yellow and so did her eyes. "I had a nice view of this planet before me and my comet crashed on it."

"Woah....so you're the alien...have a name?"

"My earliest memory was that of a sun, so I chose Solaris," the alien said. "I am thinking of changing it. The few people I've told it to gave me odd looks."

"I think it's a nice name. Very fitting."

"Yeah, that's what I thought as well, until G.U.N started being very interested in me," she continued. "Long story short, they think I'm dead and it's better that way."

"Yeah I keep my distance from G.U.N. I've already had a run with them and I don't want that to happen again.

"The ragtag group of misfits I'm in sends whatever info they acquire to one of G.U.N's many outside sources," Ayah cut in, her headache subsiding. "There have been no problems so far, though all of us question our boss for doing it."

"Well in not going to go near gun. I'm on their "kill on site list" Voltraire did too much crap to them." Then Liela came from the other room. Lillith also came too but she was still a puddle of ink.

"Now that you're finally here," Maggie started. "Can we continue where we left off?"

"What where we doing?"

"Looking for a healer."

"What happened to the healer we had?"

"Disappeared when you went crazy."

"um...oh right..well summon another healer."

Maggie summoned a healer again, the same one that wasn't an angel. Only this time, she had her hood down, revealing short black hair and a passion for modern cigaretes, complete with a lighter in one hand.

Safe to say, the grace she had before was completely gone.

"Sup." She muttered before taking a whiff and exhaling smoke.

Liela looked disgusted. "Summon another healer! I don't her anymore!"

"Well excuuuse me princess, do you think this job is easy?," the healer responded and Maggie wanted to hear what she had to say before sending her off. "When someone dies, they always blame me. Fall into a pit by not paying attention? They blame me. Run alone into a room full of enemies without waiting for your teammates and dying? They blame me."

"Well I'm not blaming you for anything!!! I just don't like the smell of smokers!!!" Liela yelled back. Kia decided to add her two cents. "Don't you realize just how much that negatively impacts your body?"

"Short term or long term?" the healer asked Kia. "Because I easily heal both. Such is the joy of being able to heal, myself included."
