The book Aubrey had opened up, the pages floating in midair. He sighed.

"The Pyromaniac wants yet another rematch."

Aubrey let out a chuckle. "He asked me, not you, and besides, rematches are not a feature of your edition. He's a very sore loser and unlike the others, didn't quite get the memo. I already beat him twelve times."

"First time I dueled him, I was a good four, five levels above him. But even then, it was a pretty even fight," Aubrey continued. "Shame they took out his voice in the later editions to make him more intimidating."

"Just silly one-liners like 'Let's turn up the heat', 'Burst into flames' and many variations of him not believimg that I beat him and swearing vengeance. Apart from that, he also sung when he played the songs."

Aubrey opened a green, whirling portal and went inside.

"You guys really want to go with him?" the shapeshifter asked. "Even his portals are ominous!"

"If it's such a problem then why don't you come with us? I don't think he'll mind." Liela replied as she and Lillith went through the portal.

The shapeshifter sighed and followed, assuming the form of the businessman once again.

All three of them appeared in a reinforced glass cube suspended somewhere in the air, with a good view of the entire thing. Keeping them company were three couches and a popcorn and soda dispenser.

The arena was a complex set of metal bars, wires, flowing lava and speakers in each corner of the ceiling. Underneath that was, of course, a blood-red, fiery river.

Aubrey appeared on one side, the Pyromancer on the other, facing him. The two of them shared a look.

"Prepared to lose?" The pyromancer asked.

"Not as much as you are." Aubrey talked back.

"What a cool arena!" Lillith said looking down. Liela looked down and immediately floated up scared. She even hit the top of the box. "Please can I be o-on the ground!!!??!!"

"Not unless you want to switch places with your friend," the shapeshifter said. "He's nine times stronger than you."

The two of them begun fighting. The pyromancer attacked Aubrey with a fiery chain and Aubrey cut it off from his hand.

"Liela looked at the Shapeshifter and then sighed before eventually looking down at Aubrey. She shaking a little. Lillith started to get popcorn.

The Pyromancer hurled fireballs, Aubrey counter with green beams of energy, very similiar to those of Liela.

Then, when that wasn't working, the Pyromancer took out a flaming sword and stabbed Aubrey with a well-timed and precise strike.

""Woah master, he can summon beams just like you!!" This did catch Liela's attention. "How's he able to do that?" Liela said before banging on the glass. "AUBREY!!!"

He dissolved into a pile of green goo, only to reform behind the Pyromancer and stab him with a sword of his own.

Unlike Lillith's version of turning into a substance, he still had the wound when he turned back to normal.

"He can do my thing too!!! Oh wait... he still has a boo boo." Lillith sounded a little disappointed while Liela looked amazed.

The Pyromancer erupted in an explosion of fiery death, sending Aubrey across the arena and almost making him fall to his death. Now holding on to dear life, the Pyromancer approaches him, sword in one hand, fireball in the another.

"Look who's falling now, plaguebearer!"
