Blitzkrieg! (Open Roleplay)

What little silence and peace that was in the Egg Empire town of El Chumara was all broken abruptly as several portals spawned from outside the small Soumerican city that has been staunchly supported of the Egg Army. Suddenly the bright purple and red glow of the Warp Portals carved up real space and connected the two Mobius's together within moments. It has been at least fifteen entire years since the Great Dimensional War, however said victory that was won by the empire is now about to be at stake as the forces of the anti-world mobilize once more, their target is Soumerica.


(OOC: A open roleplay that takes place in Jaredthefox92's dark sonic fan continuity. Basically a way to establish some of his New Order faction, as well as have fun. However, there are a few ground rules if you want to join.)
1.This roleplay is in the 'dark' future of Jaredthefox92's Dimensional Wars story line, everything is about the same, except there was a previous war that involved most of Mobius's 15 years ago. Don't worry though, you will learn the lore as the roleplay progresses.
2.This roleplay shall have two major combatants, the Eggman Empire and the Order. However, you can bring in third party characters if you wish to do so.
3.This roleplay basically takes place in Latin America, in a Spanish cultured region.
4.It has been 15 years since the current Sonic timeline, thus your character would be +15 years old))

A red hedgehog walked along the dusty, barren streets of a town that once stood proud in Soumerica. He was wearing a tattered old navy blue coat, which he was wearing much like a cape, as the arms had practically worn away. Holes dotted the rest of the fabric. He also wore a pair of very worn red boots, that were stained by mud and dirt. Hung on his sides were two scabbards, which were once ornately decorated and grand, but were now reduced to scraps of leather that held his weapons- a pair of swords with red blades, that had scratches, dents, and stains all over them. His muzzle was covered in dirt, along with his spines, and a small beard had begun to grow. Along his right eye was a scar from a blade nearly slicing his eye at some point in the past. He would have looked different, this 33 year old hedgehog, were it not for the war...

War. The very idea of it chilled Caen to the very bone. People fighting for their own beliefs, spilling the blood of countless others. He guessed that what he did- what he used to do- was not much different. He fought for his own beliefs, what he believed was just. Perhaps he was part of the problem that sparked this war all those years ago.

Once more, as all those years ago, Moebian boots hit the ground of the prime world. From their controlled tears through the very fabric of reality, the forces of the newly rejuvenated 'Order' of Moebius have set about on a incursion into the lands that they once have invaded a long time ago. Now was a chance for not only to take back the holdings of the former Federation prior to it's fall at the end of the Great Dimensional War, but also more importantly a chance for revenge.

Soldiers wearing green uniforms with black body armor and helmets soon began to enter the dusty town. They seemed organized as they moved in formation with all their high tech weaponry and gear to the point they appeared to be akin to storm troopers of yore. Their species varied, however the majority of the men and women were canine in appearance of various breeds and animal families. As they moved through the city they would look around and look for Mobian life, kids would walk up to them but surprisingly they would just ask the children to remain calm and go on their way as the soldiers astoundingly knew the Soumerican dialects of the region.

Caen stopped for a second, looking at an old, crumbling building. He sighed, "this looks like a good place for tonight," he mumbled, "I hope there's some food in there, although I'd guess not."
That's when he noticed something. There were people here. Something akin to civilisation! Caen looked up at the sky, chuckling to himself. He was thankful. Now he hoped they might spare something, anything. Food, water, weapon repairs. Those were his priorities.

These thoughts were thrown out of the window when a tear appeared before him. People emerged from these cracks in the fabric of reality, all dressed in the same uniform. Fear caused Caen to freeze, waiting for a response from these people.

"Civilian, halt!" One of the soldiers stated sternly as they exited from the portal.

From the looks of things they were a single squad and the one who gave out the order was apparently their sergeant. He wore dark green and black armor like the others, as well as a helmet. However he had a armband that was colored bright green with what appeared to be a symbol of a flag with several horizontal bars in the colors of black, lime green, and dark purple.

"Civilian, halt!" Came from who Caen presumed to be the leader of this small squad. He shook his head, changing his look of fear into a neutral expression, before raising an eyebrow. "I'd like to know who's asking," Caen said, reaching to his sides and laying his hands on the pommel of his blades.

A unanimous symphony of clicking noises were heard as the entire squad of soldiers aimed their armaments at him. However the sergeant motioned for them to lower them and he stared at Caen. "We are soldiers of the Order, by the command of the Baron this  town is to be liberated from Egg control."

They all aimed their weapons at Caen. They were predictable, to say the least. That is, until their leader signalled for them to lower their firearms. He spoke, telling Caen that he and his comrades were part of the order, and they were ordered to free the area from Egg control. Caen lowered his arms back to his sides "you're here to free the place, huh? Who's this baron guy? Why's he fighting the Egg empire all of a sudden?" Caen questioned one after the other, not waiting for an answer between each one, but was expecting an answer for all of them nonetheless.

"Baron Griefan Nathaniel Bradanska, son of Ivan Bradanska of the old Anti Mobian Federation and Army." the sergeant simply responded.

Caen listened to this sergeant, who merely blurted out the name of this baron. One thing that did catch Caen's attention, was that this baron was the son of a baron in an anti-Mobian army. The hedgehog questioned whether these people had the best intentions at heart. He crossed his arms "well, that name certainly sounds like it's a baron's. Although, I must ask, don't you think the term anti-Mobian is a bit... Well, sinister sounding? Tell me, what do you intend to do once these people have been freed?" Caen said.

"That's classified information. I am under orders to not inform people of this. I just simply follow what I was told." The Sergent simply replied.

"huh," Caen said after hearing what this soldier had to say, regarding the information he had asked for. "Okay," he started "how about some questions that you can answer. Why did you ask me to halt? What if I were to tell you that I don't trust you?"

"This is expected, you are a civilian in a now contested combat zone." The sergeant simply responded, obviously withholding information.

Caen chuckled, uncrossing his arms "you really are hiding something, aren't you? For all I know, these guys could get an even worse deal than they got with the egg empire, and, as much as I hate to say it, I don't think I can trust you with the lives of these people." He brought his arms across his body, grabbing onto the handles of his blades "that is, unless you were to tell me what your plans really were." He said in a plain, serious tone. He held that position, anticipating an answer, be it through speech, or gunfire.

"Arms up." The sergeant simply ordered his men and every one in their squad raised their armaments and disengaged their safeties as they pointed it towards Caen.

"all that against one civilian? Where's your honour?" Caen said towards the sergeant. Before receiving a response, the hedgehog shook his head, letting out a short sigh. "Why do I always end up getting into crap with people pointing guns at me?" He muttered. Caen kept the same position, not moving. He was waiting, seeing who would make the first move. His face had a serious expression across it. He was very clearly willing to fight, even if his thoughts on these people were incorrect.

"Set to stun, take him down!" The sergeant let out as his soldiers began to open fire upon him with a barrage of weaker 'stun' blasts of their rifles. The soldiers fired in a semi-automatic way, they didn't go fully automatic as that would risk accuracy due to the recoil. Instead they seemed to be rather trained as the Order soldiers aimed down their sights and fired in short, controlled bursts at Caen.

"set to stun, take him down!" The sergeant ordered his subordinates, to which they immediately followed their order. With a quiet "hmph", Caen drew his swords, throwing his arms outwards as they began to become engulfed in flame. As he shouted the words "Heat wall!" The fire burst forth from his arms and twisted into the shape of a wall of flame, blocking the gunfire from hitting him. He used this opening to go around the side of the group of people.

"What the? He's flanking us! Get him!" The sergeant said as he turned around and fired his las pistol at Caen.

"honestly, if you're supposed to be part of some sort of military, you should know that leaving your flank open is a schoolboy error," Caen remarked, jumping out of the way of whatever weapon the sergeant had. As he did so, he held one sword towards him, shouting "heat arrow". The tip of his blade began to catch fire, before several arrow like flames shot out, going straight towards the sergeant. If they were to hit, several small explosions would be triggered.
