A tale of adventure and piracy! The hunt for Devils island

I don't have much time to talk so I'll get to the point

This is will be a pirate rp aboard the ship The Dark Daemon. It's captain, Dezriel Blackwater is sailing the high seas with his crew on his way to port. At port the crew goes to drink while the captain goes off on his own.upon returning the captain reveals to the crew their next destination on an old map he had found. An island known as Devils island. There is said to be untold riches to the man who finds this place. And plenty of other pirates are after it. Be you crew or captain of a rival ship all be setting a course to the island in search of riches.

Interesting. Coincidentally, I have a 'Pirate' for this sort of thing. 

Nicknamed 'Pirate', this Blitz has only two similarities with the original; money and leadership. Commanding about 15 ships under her leadership, her fleet has gained quite a reputation for being unique depending on Pirate's mood. Merciful being more of a happy mood, tired being merciless, and Non-violent if she's depressed. Her fleet, the Green Sunsets, earned it's name for always having their cannon balls' fuses lite up green and the primary color being green in her crew's armor, alongside a green flame on Pirate's Flagship the Canine Catastrophe. She can be your ally if you give her your loyalty or your enemy if you go against her. Which one is up to them.

This is interesting, I may or may not join, with either my normal character or maybe a new one just for this. By the way welcome back Azrael.

He he thanks. And I'm glad some people are interested. Just so you know Blitz I'm only going to allow one ship per captain. I don't want there to be too much complaining if you bring in an entire fleet while everyone else has one ship. This rp will set in the same port to start as a meeting of the captains

Usually it depends on detailing and plot. I prefer a long, more paragraphic RP with a conflict. Could update with a more...'Historic' plot.

I don't always like long replies. But I don't like one liners either. I'm not exactly picky with how long I make my replies as long as everyone can understand what my character is saying or thinking

I agree, and with how many personalities come and go on this site I've come to cope with changes, no matter how different...but then again, we all have our limits....*Mutters*

I don't know, if I go with my main character, I'll probably go a steampunk sort of ship, since I like that kind of thing, and since my favorite kind of pirate is a steampunk airship pirate (Which I got from listening to Abney Park), and since I'm just about the only person who focuses on a single character that changes over time, It would work within my boundaries to have my character go into an "Adventure Period". I will wait for a reply about the use of a steampunk airship before I reply back.

Any pirate is a welcome pirate toothless  personally I'm more of a demonic man myself. A lot of my characters are from the netherworld

Aight....here goes..... I'll be playing the older version of my character. The bio that shows the changes to him will be in his normal bio, at the very bottom, make sure to read his younger one to know all about what has changed in him overtime, it isn't finished though.

Toothless, as the cat he is...became a crewmember of the Sky Warden, an airship with lots of brass and gears and all that spiffy steampunk stuff. He doesn't know how to operate the ship or anything, but he is mostly kept around because he is good at keeping the others in line.

Pirate Blitz will be using a single ship as she expects this adventure to be a quickie. Her ship looks much like a Destroyer Class Naval Ship, but it's colored with the appropriate brown color shades. She'll be using a specially made pistol for her own use; a .44 Magnum with two special mods; the range and power of a Semi-rifle and an extra round holder making the revolver hold 7 rounds. Her crew uses a variety of Burst and Semi-Auto rifles.

Info on her Ship: Pirate's Lead Exploration Ship, the Eastern Dawn, has two special canons, one on each end of the ship. Basically, it's a Gatling Gun that shoots moderate-armor piercing rounds shooting at 1.5 rounds per second with an explosive impact. Unfortunately, this replaces the two turrets at each end and slows the ship speed by a small amount. On a side note, it's got 3 .50 cal MG turrets on each side with heavy armor plating covering the ship. On top of each Prototype Gatling Turrets is an Anti-Air/Anti-Personnel turrets. They can't pierce ship armor so they're useless, but take out the Main Gatling Turret, and you take out the Anti-A/P turret.

The crew and Pirate herself are a bit of an olden style among them, so they use long sharp swords and staffs along with being very flexible and agile, making them hard to fight at close quarters. Other than that, they're your normal Pirate crew.

I'm liking what I'm seeing. However a Gatling gun.... I think it's overkill but I'll allow it blitz. Now the only people you don't know is the Blackwater crew.

Dezriel Blackwater is a pirate known far and wide as the angel of death. Any foe gone against him and his ship the Devils Bane have been sent to davie jones locker. His ship looks like a large flagship. Just a normal every day boat right? Well looks can be deceiving. This flagship is made to respond o luck to the will of its captain. The captain himself able to channel his powers though the ship and attack through the cannons. The crew of this fine vessel are well equips to deal with others seeing to board the ship. Will you be able to beat the angel of death to the treasure

Would I still be aloud to join this rp?

The more the merrier  this rp is still in the plotting stage. I still have a few details to bang out.

What's funny is that Amber Dark is in almost every roleplay I'm in. (Not that I don't like a friend of mine joining, it makes me feel less nervous with new people.)

I like pirates, i used to have an idea for a pirate character, but i scrapped it, but i would love to join, maybe i could use a char i have not used yet, it seems perfect for this char so count me in, and i might be using my char Erika. if i can join thanks
