The Ultimate Encounter Empty The Ultimate Encounter

Post by Shadow Wed Jan 07, 2015 3:20 am

With in the vast foliage of the Mystic ruins, Shadow the hedgehog strolled, focusing his attention for anyone who might be in the forest. The silence around him was relaxing, and he could almost say that he was enjoying himself in one of the rare moments where the world wasn't in peril, from what he could tell. The red striped hedgehog came across a cliff with not so much as a tree beyond it. For as far as Shadow could see, there wasn't anyone that could bother him there.

The black hedgehog sat on the edge of the cliff, placing a foot on a rock that was sticking out, barely putting any weight on it. Shadow could see glimpses of some of the creatures that lived there brave the open field to stretch their legs, and get away from the cramped trees. Their bounds were long, but all it was was relaxing to the hedgehog. The black hedgehog could run a gentle jog much faster, but he really didn't care at the moment.

He closed his eyes casually, listening to the movement of the forest. He could hear the crunching of grass as someone seemed to be wondering fairly closely to the area he was sitting at. Whether the he was stranger or not, he didn't know. Whether he was traveling knowing where Shadow was or not, he couldn't tell, but he knew someone was there. Once he could tell that he was close enough to hear, Shadow spoke. "Are you lost? Or do I know you?" he asked waiting for a response.

Rapha was totally lost in thoughts as he walked through the mystic ruins searching for a silent and peaceable place to draw undisturbed and alone. He carefully looks around the environment to notice everything. He loved it to be alone and enjoy the beautiful nature around since he was a kid.
He started to sing a silent melody while walking. He felt free and secure while he was thinking about life and some other stuff as he heard somebody saying: "Are you lost? Or do I know you?"

He was suddenly shaken from his reverie and winces. "Who was that?" he asked himself and for a short time he didn't now what to do next so he decided to hide behind a bush and wait till the one who asked shows up.

Shadow was very unimpressed with the stranger's reaction. He seemed rather skittish at the fact that someone was there that he couldn't see. This was clear that the stranger could be ambushed easily. He seemed to have lack of discipline in this area at least. Shadow was able to analyze all this, and he hadn't even seen the stranger. He didn't think he was worth his time. "If someone decided to mug you, it wouldn't be that hard." he pointed out bluntly. "Are you traveling with anyone?"

The black hedgehog was in front of the stranger almost instantly. He looked over the stranger, and though he wasn't like a mobian he'd ever seen before, the only indication of that was an arched eyebrow. And his odd appearance didn't make him any less unimpressive to him. "I wouldn't cause start a fight with anyone I know," he said jumping on the branch of a nearby tree, laying his back against a tree, and attempted to ignore the wolf's presence. "You'd certainly lose, badly."

(Don't worry Rapha-chan i asked permission from cynda to join).

Ah Mystic Ruins what a wonderful place it is a place were mobians can clear their mind well in this case a robian.

Vanicia well the name she usually goes by, silently stood on a tree branch she was blueish silver in color and she was a fox well had the looks of one at least so she had a bushy tail that most if not all foxes have well would be bushy if she wasn't made of mostly metal and circuits now.

She wore dark grey boots with a orange pattern on them well now its technically part of her body since well robotization and all. She had the signiture red eyes with black colored whites like what most robots have and sharp metal claws for fingers.

Vanicia mostly stayed away from major cities and or small towns, since the very last thing she wants is to end up in a big fight and attract really unwanted attention so she most of the time stays in places like Mystic Ruins because its a good place to get away from everyone.

She had to admit when she got free from Robotnik's metal grip the first thing that came into her mind was to get de-robotizize, but she soon learned that she like being non organic now, since now she has more advantages over organic beings but she did a little bit miss eating, breathing and healing without any assistance of others. But hey at least she had eye lids and a mouth and could do facial expressions and move her ears and such but not like she shows that much emotions anymore. Turning into a robot twisted her personality and even some of her memories.

Her day dreaming wes abruptly interrupted when she had heard someone jump onto the tree branch within her line of sight, usually she would have ignored and move onto somewhere more hidden if it waren't for the fact it was Shadow The Hedgehog someone she most definitely did NOT expect to see at all in person, she had heard some things about him but did not paid any mind to it.

While she wasn't visible on the ground thanks to some tree branches and leaves they could certainly see or hear her if they climbed up or she moved. She felt hesistant on the idea of running away but also did not want to stay here mostly worried because the hedgehog might think she's still on Robotnik's side and might be there to get him in which she does not have a intention of doing at all, the last thing she wants to do is get in a fight with someone possibly a lot stronger than her so she silently there hoping that she had not been spotted yet.

(Hopefully you wont mind me using my good old Robian fox Vanicia she's the most well developed Sonic OC i have and she's fairly balanced so don't worry about her getting/being OP).

The Ultimate Encounter Empty Re: The Ultimate Encounter

Post by Guest Thu Jul 02, 2015 6:03 pm

It was a nice day for a stroll. The sun was out, there wasn't a cloud in the sky, and the animals were lazily enjoying the silence. Amber was enjoying the peace and silence that she rarely ever got to hear. Her one earbud was softly playing some of her favorite music, while the other hung down over her hoodie. It really was a nice day.

She put her hands in her pockets, not knowing what to do with them. Her ears flicked as the wind passed through, and she noted that it was heading north wards. Turning her head, she caught site of some kind of ruins and being the curious wolf she was, she started heading that way.

"Hm, don't think I have been here before..." She thought to herself as she climbed over some of the ruins, getting to a fairly high place so she could over look the place. It was a seemingly large place, so she decided to start exploring. She slid down and landed back on the grass, and started walking around, but know with the feeling that she wasn't alone. "Are you lost? Or do I know you?" A strange voice spoke out, making Amber jump in surprise. Looking for the person that the voice belonged to, she stood alert.

Shadow's eyes opened slightly, noticing where the attention of the female wolf had been. Then, he proceeded to turn away from her, shrugging, before proceeding with his concentration. "Those are the ancient ruins." he stated the obvious rather coldly. "I wouldn't go there if I were you. They're rather dangerous." Of course, he didn't really care what she did. She didn't seem like the type that could even go that far, much less reach the end of the ruins.

After that, he was silent. He kept his attention off the girl and back to his focusing for something that's actually important. A child's interest in some ancient ruins wasn't his concern. He was even more concerned with what he was doing than with the wolf, because there could be someone who's actually dangerous out here in the wilderness, and this wolf, despite being a wolf, didn't cut it. Not according to Shadow anyway.

He decided, though, that it was a good idea to stay by the ruins since if anyone was going to try to get something valuable, they'd try out the ruins. He had no clue what kind of secrets the mysterious temple had, but he wasn't about to let anyone cause too much trouble to find out. She could mess with whatever she wanted because he knew she couldn't cause any trouble. At least that's what he thought. "Buzz off." he scoffed at her as if she was some kind of annoying fly.

Seeing the black and red hedgehog, she loosened up, deciding that he wasn't a threat to her. He seemed to be concentrating, so she didn't speak, but wanted to at least ask for him to be a bit more nice. He was kinda rude, his tone cold and careless, but she didn't mind it. "I wouldn't go there if I were you. They're rather dangerous." Was the only part of what he said that mattered to her. If it was dangerous, there might be something of worth to finding in the ruins.

She tilted her head to the side curiously. Something about him seemed a bit different to her. Though she couldn't place her finger on it, something about his presence was unique in a way, even if he did seem rude. Her curiosity stood on end about the strange hedgehog.  Maybe there was something more to him than she had thought..... She just didn't know.

Making her way to the ruins, she scaled a slab of stone that overlooked the inside of the ruins. She had a lot of ground to cover if she wanted to be down by sunset. Amber slid down the rock, landing in what seemed to be a temple untouched by the elements. She started exploring the small structure, finding nothing out of the ordinary

The Ultimate Encounter Empty Re: The Ultimate Encounter

Shadow took one glance at the retreating wolf before turning away and continuing to keep his focus on something that actually seemed important. Suddenly, a strange foreboding feeling of dread consumed his insides that caused him to look back at the temple. There was something off about the structure. The striped hedgehog felt some kind of dark energy coming from it that he hadn't noticed before. It made him feel uncomfortable, but insisting that it was just his imagination, he tried to bring his focus back.

However, he seemed to switch his concerns when the strange feeling persisted. He stubbornly insisted to himself not to help that girl, since whatever trouble she may be in is her fault, but he couldn't help be feel concerned about that temple. He forced his focus away from the temple, forcing himself to agree that it was none of his business. He also thought that, aside from the eerie feeling he got from the temple, that things in the forest was actually rather peaceful.

It was almost too peaceful. The black hedgehog felt himself drifting from how peaceful it was, and before he knew it, the wolf was long gone. Blinking his saggy eyes open, Shadow noticed that the sky had gotten darker, and that foreboding feeling intensified. At first he thought that the girl must have left a while ago, but the silence continued to persist, and so did his instincts, forcing him to go against the idea he had forced himself to believe what had to be a few hours ago. She reasoned that the wolf must have entered that temple, but did she really?

The Ultimate Encounter Empty Re: The Ultimate Encounter

As she continued her walk through the ruins, the structures started to become more complete, other than the outside ones. It got darker and darker as she kept on, and not to mention creeper.... She rubbed her arms through her hoodie, the warmth that the sun had provided her now dispersing and left her a bit cold. "Maybe I should have worn warmer clothes. " She said to herself as she stopped to warm up. Observing the walls and their symbols, she tried to make sense of it all. The symbols, carvings, all of it.

Amber looked up at the ceiling, trying to find a hole to see how low the sun was. She couldn't tell how long she had been walking, but she thought that she hadn't gone that far. She rolled her shoulders a bit before heading on. She was bound to find the end soon enough, hopefully. Quickening her steps, she put her hands in her pockets, her hands starting to shake. Something about the ruins made her feel on edge, the feeling of darkness overcoming her senses. Maybe there was more to this Mystic Ruins then she had thought.

Her hoodie had completely lost its warmth, making her shake from the lack of heat. How long had she been going? All of her train of thought was at an end, her just wanting to finish. 'Maybe I should turn back. Better know than never...' She thought, slowing down. 'No. Gotta keep going.'
After a while, she ended up in a dead end. "Just great...." Her eyes narrowed, seeing a some sort of light. Her curiosity spiked, though she was still on edge of the growing feeling of darkness. Walking towards the light, she found that the faint light was emitting from a small necklace of sorts, or maybe one of those tiara looking things. Her instincts told her to back away from it, but she kept advancing towards it. Amber gently picked it up of its pedastool, turning it around it her hands while she examined it. A small rumble emitted from under her feet shaking the room. "Thats not good...."

The moment he entered the temple, a tremor could be felt under his feet, almost making it too hard to walk. Shadow grunted as he endured the struggle to try and get further into the structure. He felt as though if he didn't hustle the temple would end up burying itself with Shadow and whoever else was in here in it. Suddenly, that girl that he saw earlier came into mind. He felt like he could kick that girl the moment he laid eyes on her.

That is, if he could get there before anything bad happened. Resisting the weight the tremors caused, Shadow pushed himself forward with with the balls of his feet, gaining speed by the second. However, once he gained to much speed, he ended up landing on his face. It startled him because it wasn't something that happened all too often. In fact, he didn't remember the last time it happened. Getting back up on his feet, he could feel the tremors just beginning to settle down just a little.

This wasn't something Shadow could be comfortable with. That just meant that whatever that girl did was really causing her problems. He had to hurry up and find her. "Hey!" he called out in a desperate attempt to get in and out of that crazy temple. "Are you in here?! Where are you?!" Someone had to be in there. There was no mistaking it. Someone set off some kind of trap, and the consequences were massive. He just hoped he could get whoever was in there out before it was too late.

Trying to keep her balance, she started making her way out of the small room. "Ya really messed up big time..." She scolded herself as she slowly but surely made her way through through the temple. She wasn't that graceful, so every once in a while she would come close to falling, so it slowed her down greatly. "Why would a trap be set just because of a harmless necklace?" She mused as she began quickening her steps, hoping to get out before she set of anymore traps.

Soon she started noticing that the trap had weakened the stability of the walls. It was just her luck wasn't it? First she sets of a trap, then she is at risk of something falling on her. She felt bit sick from all of the shaking and stumbling she did, causing her a major headache. Amber quickened her pace feeling like she was nearing the end. Finally, she could get out!

Tripping once more, she finally fell face first into the ground scrapping her cheek. She groaned, picking her face of the ground and slowly getting to her feet. Her head felt like it was about to explode so she stayed still. "Hey!" A voice echoed. Amber listened intently, seeing if the voice said anything else. "Are you in here?! Where are you?!" Relief washed over her as she registered that someone was there. "Yeah! I'm here!" She mustered to yell, straining to see if anyone was standing within her line of site, but stopped as her ears picked up some sort of cracking noise. She followed the sound and saw a crack in the foundation slowly creeping up the wall.
