Just Another Day

"Zzzz...." "Zzzz...." "Zzzz...." Early in the morning the young hedge-fox's body lie still asleep. The air cool, and crisp with the sun rising over the horizon. The peace and silence nearly poetically beautiful until......"HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONK!" The silence shattered by the horn of a train, shaking the home. Zero sprang awake. "Huzza?!"

Srunks was walking around in the small town, his sword upon his back and a song caught on his mind, he couldn't help but hum it

Prophet hovered above the town looking for mutations from a bird's eye view.

When the train passed, he wearily rubbed his eyes. "..what a rough night..." He mumbled dragging himself into the bathroom. He turned on the hot water in his shower. Last night he'd seen his little brother Koji. Whenever he saw him, he had a lot of trouble getting to sleep.

Srunks did a little dance shuffle, humming the song some more

As Prophet searched, he noticed Srunks, deciding to ask if he had seen any other mutations. Prophet dived down to where Srunks was walking.

Now clean and slightly awake, Zero walked out of his home. He looked around to see if anyone was around. He noticed his good friend Skunks, with an unknown entity. He jogged over to his friend. "Hey, Srunks!" He shouted.

Srunks waved to Prophet, then waved to Zero "hey, my two good friends! What is up?!"

Prophet waved back to Srunks as he hovered slightly above the ground, but the morbian waving caught his attention, but Prophet replied in his funny-like translated voice. "Nothing much friend, who is that over there though?"

He raised an eyebrow. "I'm Zero. Who're you?" He seemed wary around the unknown.

Srunks smiled "He's prophet, my new friend"

Prophet observed the morbian, looking for signs of mutations, or anomaly that could be related to DNA patterns and genomes. He remembered then about what Srunks told him about being secretive and shook his head looking back Srunks. "So how are you doing ,Srunks, on this day?"

He looked curiously at Prophet. "What're you lookin at?" He said with a low growl.

He looked at Zero "Easy there, he's just looking around, no harm in that, right?"

Prophet nodded his head in agreement. "Affirmative, no harm at all."

He stared at Prophet. "Yeah, whatever you say." He mumbled.

Srunks took a deep breath

"Though I am not familiar much with Morbian socialism, I detect signs of doubt, is there a problem?" Prophet replied.

"Nah, its fine." He lied.

"Good, we are all getting along"

Prophet nodded his head in response to Srunks' quote. "So how is everyone on this fine day?" He then asked.

"Ugh. Pretty bad start." He moaned.

"Better than usual for me"

Prophet lifted his hands slightly, bending his elbows, while his palms were facing the sky. "Well that's alright I would assume, at least it's not terrible."

"Yeah."
